a guy from this forum helped me with a trigger which replaces the Night Elf race with the Naga, if i set handicap at 90%.
the triggers work by replacing the Tree of Life and wisps with Temple of Tides and murloc workers. But i get that warning: "build a new Tree of Life or be revealed" !

Awesome works perfectly now. As for the special effect in your vJass example? So far I created a private string in globals with the added SFX. Not entirely sure where I should actually create the loop effect + destroying it.
In your vJass version, not GUI one other question, is there a reason why Shadow Trail has to be integrated with your Jump System? Whenever I import your Resource files + the JumpSystem, I get an error unless ShadowTrail is with it.
Thanks for the response on the post. I actually managed to get the trigger to work with a lot less functions. I guess I was just overthinking it :/

(Ability being cast) Equal to Rotate
Set Rotate_Location = (Position of (Triggering unit))
Unit - Remove (Triggering unit) from the game
Unit - Create 1 (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) for (Owner of (Triggering unit)) at Rotate_Location facing ((Facing of (Triggering unit)) - 45.00) degrees
Unit - Set life of (Last created unit) to (Life of (Triggering unit))
Selection - Add (Last created unit) to selection for (Owner of (Triggering unit))
Custom script: call RemoveLocation (udg_Rotate_Location)
I'm trying to really understand how to use GUI, so an explanation of why your custom script would be better than this is greatly appreciated
