Tell me why you can't release a demo which is protected so we can try it. It won't hurt and since we're probably waiting for something that we'll never get, at least give us a taste of this...

If we give up on the project we'll release it. Until then, only beta testers and developers get a look at the mod early.

As of now, the only way you'll get access to it is to either become a developer, or when we release it. We have no current plans for an open beta.

Actually, we have been recruiting Private BETA Testers, but don't expect a response immediately. We've been busy and focused on the actual development.

We aren't releasing it publicly because it is very buggy, less than 60% of the features are in the mod, and it just isn't that pleasant to play. Its replayability is rather poor too mainly because of all the bugs and lack of intuitive gameplay additions we hope to implement soon.

It's a pleasure to looks at the screenshots =)
I've tried two times to become a part of the team, as terrainer, but it failed both times :P

Quite a few, actually. We're currently trying to hire more developers though, we really want to get Wc3:WoW to a state where we feel comfortable releasing what we have done.

I think we can all safely say that Wc3:WoW is coming along extremely slowly. If you really want it done then come help out and make it finished sooner.

Once HvO-Busterkomo is back, it'll motivate everyone again and work all around the project will proceed again. Patience people!

You should request the resources you have requested at this forum at other sites too. Then the resources will come faster! :P

The big communities, TH, wc3c, etc, and there is a lot of other sites such as Clan Mapz and hourdreds of others =)

I doubt you'll get much response on clan websites. The people that are on TH but aren't on THW probably can't deliver high quality models, and wc3c... I think most good artists willing to help on wc3c are already in the team?

But it's still worth trying.

The Hive Workshop seems to be the only reliable source for willing WarCraft III mod developer applicants. Everywhere else - including Wc3Campaigns - is pretty dead and people are either:
  • Too busy with their own project
  • Life issues
  • Aren't interested
  • Don't mod for WarCraft III anymore
  • Are interested, but incompetent to fulfill the responsibilities their job requires such as actually doing the work

Hive has a lot of disappointing successful applicants - applicants who manage to convince us good enough to let them in and, at that point, they decide to quit - but is pretty much the only one we get actual developers too. Therefore, we're pretty loyal to the Hive to making it our prime source for recruiting developers. Very rarely - but not saying we don't - do we post a recruit thread in Wc3Campaigns or anywhere else.

Warcraft 3: WOrld of Warcraft

I know we can't get a alpha map at the moment, but can't you make some more Screenshots? so we could see how long you've become with the project. Can't wait till i see the new Orgrimmar

Is'nt that some old screenshots? could be nice with some screenshots of some of the more undiscovered zones of your work. Btw are you going to create RFC?
