I will just mention one of the rules he inflicted: 4.Technological level cannot exceed that of modern science. If I'm not mistaken, the technological level that is required for something such as traveling across worlds through portals is minimum of Advanced Science.

But can't stop also mentioning my favourite rule: 5. Always use your common sence. We didn't turn the world into a Pangeas just so people would teleport to another planet, if they could do that, we would have simply kept the earth divided as it is. There wouldn't be a need of being connected for interaction as we could teleport, don't you think?

If he doesnt have the magic gun, can he be a part of this rp? I mean anomalies happened during the nuclear winter, a space knot sure wouldnt be really out of the picture.

The second statement i dont agree with, he arrived here from a worse dimension, and it was obviously an one way ride.

I want Amar to be a part of this.

Then you should probably encourage him to create a new character.

The first character I ever created is very important to me. I've used him in various places, I have always used him in worlds that are fitting for him. However he doesn't travel between worlds. Even though he is the same character, he's always a new one in the next one. He adapts.
I know that characters can be important, but I do not use him in places that he can't certainly be in.

Exactly, just because a character doesn't fly or has no superpowers or came from an extingished race, or bears the great amulet, doesn't mean it's lame. It's lame the moment you think it is, you can make the worst type of plot possible into something cool. Trust me, I had to write a story about a 'sissy gnome' and a 'steroid gnome' who fight for the love of a witch, and even though that argument makes me want to puke blood, I managed to make it sound less stupid and bit more interesting. It depends on the person.

Okay, i agree with you.
But here is the thing: The level of the group was below the carpet. We disliked it, so wanted a change. It would prevent people to get down to that level again, but also not to make it too serious to be more Role-ing and less Play-ing.
When Amar heard about Bern getting the "leading position" of this group, he was afraid of this exact thing. That the new world becomes more important than the players inside.
Now you might say, that you only want to have a proper roleplay, and Amar should really be able to adjust. Its easy, no doubt. But why?
Additionally, im sure that you would accept an Am'ar Graados with the same personality, same outfit, same jokes, but with a proper backstory. I find the argument about trashing the character because of it's backstory rather unpleasant

So you are telling me that instead of making people follow the rules, I should tell them that it's okay to break them?

And "we" disliked it? As far as I knew what was said was that "Bern disliked it", "Bern this, Bern that, Bern is evil and stuff"

How many post-apocalyptic worlds have had orcs in them? I would like to know that.

I remember my own scars about that abomination really well. Its just that i remained silent and stayed out of nonsence troll sequels.

I'm telling, that we didn't vote about a world that strict, I myself said do whatever you think is right, i can adjust.
A post-apocaliptic scene could take place in nearly any world?
I am saying that the world's construction could be a littlebit looser, so that we can tolerate orcs and tigermans.

The whole roleplay havent started yet, and we lost a rooter member of this community. I'd say that we are lacking players already, a little change in the rules _before the start_ wouldnt hurt anyone.

Who is to blame here? Bernkastel who tries to make sure that rules are followed, or Amargaard who cannot change something as simple as a backstory?

Do not try to justify his actions. It's his fault and his fault alone.
