Hmm.. second. Just a question - do we have to roleplay in here too? like aa.. Hello, Guardian Amargaard, guardian of the Seven Golden Moose Statues and such?

Also, I read this was something about the post-apocalypticsklk ;g ;dflg another contest. So, this is like a second part of it? Meaning that.. I can't join since, well, since I haven't participated in the first one.

Jar'Hara - The Weasel Druid

General Information

Age: Middle-twenties
Race: Mutant Weasel
Occupation: Conjurer, Druid and Guardian

Appearance:

Jar'Hara's appearance is that of a 7,1 feat tall bulky humanoid weasel mutant creature, with a muscular body covered entirely in fur, with colors varying from brown, black to red. He got a set of whiskers on each side of his bestial nose, and his ears are identical to those of a lynx, but adorned with 3 golden rings on each. Jar's cheeks are both covered in strange colorful tattoos and mysterious runes.
He wears a casual green leather shirt, decorated by eagle feathers. Strapped around his chest by leather-strings are a piece of armor, seemingly made from a dark gray skull of a large creature.
Jar also always carries his favourite magical wooden staff around. It has the symbol of a bending moon on the top, with magical floating runes and rocks keep circling around it. Leaves, feathers as well as other decorations hangs beneath the symbol, and at the other edge of the staff. Cloth are wrapped around the middle of the staff to form a comfortable handle for Jar.
His one hand is replaced with a hook, due to an accident a while back.


Personality:

Jar'Hara is a very kind, respectful and helpful person, but clearly hardened by his tragic past. He is very devoted to his training in the Vakera Sevada, and feels at home and secure whenever he is in a natural environment, where his druidic potential is at it's peak. Thus he also wants to protect the nature and it's inhabitants, but he prefers to do it in the most peaceful way possible, and only goes offensive when really needed.
However, once Jar hates a person for a good reason, he will never forgive that person, and will do all to get revenge. Igor Balartius is a prime example.


Abilities:

When in combat, Jar'Hara usually relies on his magical powers within the arts of Vakera Sevada. However, these great druidic spells that he have learned, is only available when placed in a natural environment, surrounded by living uncorrupted plantlife. His magic is of course not only limited to fighting, and is used in his normal days as well.
When not able to use his Vakera Sevada, he relies on his brute strenght, his impressing agility, and finally the hook that replaces his one hand, which works as a deadly weapon.
He is also good at concocting potions, and magical elixirs, if having the right materials.


Background story:

Jar'Hara derives from a long line of leaders of the mutant weasel people in the great Oraston Forest. However, his parents were killed at the creek they lived in, somewhere in the forests by an infamous dwarven hunter of exotic animal-fur, and his vile wolf pet. His name had long been whispered and feared by the animals of the forest - Igor Balartius!
Not noticing little Jar, Balartius took the bodies of his parents only, and unknowingly left the little weasel mutant to cry for himself through the whole stormy night. Young and dependant Jar was lucky to survive the next couple of days, until one final day where the wise and kind old druid of Oraston, known only as Master Thar'Thul, came by and found the wild weasel mutant. He only succeeded luring the scared Jar'Hara over by using a magical flute. He took the weasel baby with him home and took care of it, although it took a while before it stopped chewing in his stuff, and learned to trust him.
Master Thar'Thul became like a father to Jar in the end, and when the weasel mutant had grown up to finally walk on two legs and develop a smarter brain, Thar'Thul decided to teach Jar'Hara the magical arts of Vakera Sevada, commonly refered to simply as druidism. The young Jar'hara was interested and studied hard to learn the most difficult and challenging lessons of what the wist old druid could teach him, and when reaching the age of 25 he had finally succeeded in becoming a powerful druid himself, like his master.
However, master Thar'thul got very ill and although Jar seeked out the rare herb, Cannives Geravas, also known as the Holy Weed, all over the world of Vika'el, and bought it on a black market from an old merchant named Duros, it appeared to be too late when he had finally concocted the potion and reached his master's secret house in the forest.
For his master had been slain... by no other than Igor Balartius himself, who had also stolen Thar'Thul's magical flute, so that he could use it to lure out animals easier and expand his collection of animal hides.
That day Jar'Hara saw red. Balartius would pay for all the lives he had taken...!

Anyways, I decided to rename my character once again, before we start this thang. Here's the slightly updated character introduction.

Age: Somewhere in his fourties
Race: Orc
Occupation: World Traveller (Explorer)

Appearance:

Am'ar is of a muscular structure, with the average orcish light green skin. Unusual, however, is his two big teeth pointing down from his upper lip. The bald top of his head is covered by a leathery cowboy-hat, and his eyes covered by black sunglasses. He got well-developed sideburns on his cheeks, and stubble on the chin. He is often smoking cigars too.
He also wears a ragged brown vest, revealing a scar on his hairy chest. One shoulder pad is attached to his left shoulder by a leather-belt around the stomach. He has a round belt with two letters saying "DP", a wrench in his pocket and heavy boots.

Personality:

Am'ar is an unusually calm and kind orc. A man of action, who loves to engage in combat, which is typical for his kind. He is loyal and caring to his friends, and likes to meet new friends. For an Orc, he is very intelligent, but his obsession of getting to know his lost past and irritation of being disrespected often becomes a problem for him.

Abilities:

In combat, Am'ar relies mostly on his skills using his staff of alienated wood, which can become a scythe. He is a skilled, strong and agile fighter that usually can handle several enemies at a time. A magical crystal on the top of his staff can be used to Time Stop enemies for a limited duration. Sometimes, when the battle gets too intense, he will use his powerful GC3 gun instead, which can shoot powerful magical beams, but only in worst case, since the needed batteries are expensive and hard to get.

Background story:

After many years of traveling between worlds, training to become a better fighter and doing what good he could, Am'ar ended up losing his memories from the dangerous portal rifts. He stopped his endless journey, helping the forces of good in that world and even got himself a family. However, his family was kidnapped by an evil mistress and he seeked her out to claim it back, but her powers were too great.
She then sent him through another rift, cursing him to never again meet his family until her own death, but he was heading far away to an entirely new world. On the new planet he ended up in a fiery prison fortress, with hundreds of prisoners belonging to the world's unknown rulers...
And story continues, once the roleplay starts...
(PS: I haven't got my hat and cigar yet, and my sideburns aren't that huge, but they will be. The skull I'm holding in the drawing, Kenny, is just an Easter Egg and I don't have that either)

Name: Stella Vermilion

Race: Human

Appearance: A teenage girl that wears some kind of clothing from the future. She is quite small and appears to be very fragile, like she could never be able to defend herself from any danger.

Backstory: Stella was Eli Vermillion's twin sister. She and Eli were working on a military lab that was built several hundred years from the current year. Both of them were working on their latest project, the Time Capsule when something went wrong and it exploded. It created a void in their lab where her brother was sucked in. After repairing and successfully making the Time Capsule herself, she went to different ages to search for her brother. In this time, she has heard of a very weird occurrence in the forest outside the city. The event described was similar to what happened in their lab so she stayed in this time to search for her brother in hopes of finding him.

Stigma Ions - Small chips implanted on the back of Stella. These chips store information like blue prints and boosters.

Stigma Texture - Able to create items stored in the Stigma Ions like summoning weapons and armors to be applied to Stella.

Stigma Ability - Uses the boosters stored in Stella's stigmas. These ability boosters could be anything from speed boosters to strength boosters. Stella can only make boosters that boost the human abilities though.
