Story:
Kari was in the Carpathian Basin when the great calamity came. Since the Mountains defended the Basin from the worst dust storms, a lot of people survived here. By the time he got to his parents from his engineering workplace downtown, the house was in ruins. He never found his family ever since.
He tried to live off nearby shop's stashes, but other people came and forced him away. In the cold, dark, rainless winter, he went down to the subway tunnels, where some people caught him, beat him and took all his goods.
It turned out, that a whole society lived in the subway tunnels. They exploded the entrances of the most stations, and placed guards at the remaining ones. Kari told them about his engineering knowledge, so they released him, and Kari helped them to keep electricity, fixed cars, anything he could.
But the people there were evil. Lot of them went trough mutations, and lost their humanity. They became greedy, sneaky rats. Kari found some people that remained normal, and defended each other mutually.
They often went to raids with fixed cars and motorbikes to the nearby countryside in the cold winter. Once they stayed out for 4-6 days, but barely made it back due the endless cold. Kari swore that he will escape during one of these raids.
And the time has come! With the first ray of light he knew it. He packed all he got, and a few extra cans of gas, and left with the next team. When they figured out he was missing, they sent others to hunt him down. Eventually they caught his tail, and he only could escape if he killed them.
The roud outside was terrible. Degenerated people would attack him daily. He couldnt hold much longer, but then he found a great friend. He met Am'ar Graados and they made a great team, thus they continued their journey together..
