Let me explain:
I lack a core part of the immune system.
Or atleast, i almost lack it.
It's called MBL for short, but i can never remember the full name.
What it is is generally the barrier that prevents bacteria from entering my body.
It doesnt actually fight bacteria, but it's the wall that they all have to get over before thy can actually make someone ill.
Normal people have around 500 units (no, i do not know how these units are measured) of MBL, and i have 15. You see the problem, right?
My actual immune system is actually very strong, and it has no problem actually fighting the bacteria.
But if there is just a single bacteria in the air that CAN get me ill, it WILL get me ill.
So that is why i am allmost constantly ill, even though it's usually nothing too serious.
