Two centuries have passed, since the great wars, the land has been split into kingdoms of which (var's kingdom name) is the biggest, and covering the 1/5 of the landmass, Ruled by the iron fist of Hellion. the second, Cerantium kingdom, being by a 1/3 less, ruled by Devilak, and third, Thora, in the barren deserts of Thora'neh, ruled by the Zealots of the Archon Order.

The ruins and reminders from the great war stand still, forgotten fortresses lie in the jungle or in the deserts, are slowly covered by the sands of time.. The magical fields have created many peculiar Human sub-species, leading to forming of a lot of independent kingdoms.

The mighty Dragon City stands proud, now perched on a cliff formed in the center of a glimmering emerald lake

Hellion, with his empire across the world, quelched any and all resistance. His demons, living peacefully with the humans, resulted with what any mixing of races results in. His army remains strong, his mages wise, and himself simply older. Hellion, Master of Storms, Lord of the Void, an emperor like no other, commanding from his vast fortress in the middle of the human lands, his draconic eye looking upon any town of his choosing. His sharpened mind, his skill with magics, he rules with an iron fist, his malice unwavering. A member of the Order of the Void, he gave some land to his fellow Void Lord, Devilak, while a thorn in his side, a certain archon, managed to steal land from him. Locked in various battles with the archon and his forces, Hellion works to reclaim his land, and rebuild the Order of the Void, to bring back the age of the Void Lords.

Having claimed the land for himself the now older and wiser archon has established an order around him, locking the grip around his lands, even though conflicts raised numerous times, the land remains, flourishing as well, The archon and his order have opened a free trade, making Nexus, now growing capital of his land a great trade center, built around his archon citadel.

things prosper...

He's learning the arcane magiks. :p And, we shall see just how dangerous he can become with arcane spells at his command XD Not using the elemental magiks this time XD Just the random effect magics of the arcane :p Though, I guess you could all over-rule me and pick a different magic for me :p

A young white haired boy who was visibly aged 6 was sitting in his home in the Cerantiam kingdom, He, Like a few others, Were one of the others who were immune to the necromancer's magics, Unlike the others, He wasn't a skeleton who was in disguise, The only difference was, That due to the long 6 years of living with necromancers, The few ' Immune ' people evolved and gained unique abilities, Due, To the constant exposure to the necromancy and dark magics of the necromancers. Like for example. Being able to control their bones and pulling them out and hardening them to use as weapons. ( Think of Kinimaro Kaguya from Naruto. ) K pondered on what to do today, All of the children he knew of were just basically skeletons. And his mother, Well, She went mad to the loss of his father and constantly abuses K, He also though of why he was named after a single letter, K. It's an odd name, But, then again, So was his mother.

OOC: If you want to discuss, Do that in the discussion page, Not here. It kinda ruins the mood you see.

K went out of the house after the few hours of sitting and doing nothing, He normally takes stroll to relax and actually find peace in this hellhole. So far his life has been really dull and boring, All of the other immune people were mad, Just like his mother, The last time he remembers where he actually find happiness in life, Was when his father was alive and before the conversion of Devilak. " Why does this always happen to me? " Sighed K. He looked at a group of ' people ' who were walking down the road. Suddenly he felt a pain all over his body, He kneeled on his foot and Grabbed his chest and head. He felt a head ache and heart attack at the same time. The pain was extraordinary and painful ( Duh ) at the same time. He collapsed on the ground and passed out.

*in the mighty citadel of the Archon order, 4 archonlings, now as priestesses, were going about her business as usual, accepting new members and rewarding the good. basically they kept the order in the city while the Archon was just sitting on his throne*

(if i ever decide to use one charr for more serious RP i'll use the littlest archonling, Sonya, she has no great power :p)

K lay there motionless except for the slight heaving of his chest, His eyes closed in pain and his hands clutching his head, Because of the fact that he was in a rather secluded area, Nobody noticed him there.

Elsewhere in K's comatose mind

The first thing he noticed was that he was laying on a rather rough surface, K took some moments to regain his senses, After a few seconds, He blinked his eyes 3 times and slowly but surely stood up. He looked around and saw something that he though will never see in his life, Pure white buildings which were made out of bones. He noticed a bone arch there, A bone tree there, A bone house there. " What the--? " Before he could finish, He heard the soft sound a sharp sword makes when it travels through the air in a breakneck speed. He dodged to the left, Barely. A large cut was produced in his right shoulder. He rolled on the ground and stopped, Without any grace.

He looked up to see a skeleton, An odd one that is, This one, Was unlike the rotting skeletons of Lord Devilak's army. This one was made of pure white bones, Which seemed to shine under the moonlight of K's mind. " Who and what are you?! " Shouted K, " And where the hell am I?! " Added K, " Fool, You do not recognize the landscape of your own mind? " Said the skeleton in a rather raspy voice. He lunged foward intent on stabbing K, Though K dodged just in time to the left, " What the hell, Why are you attacking me! " Though K's question fell on deaf ears as the skeleton twisted his torso and swung the sword on his left arm and aimed for a slash at K's head.

sounds like fun. :3 There is no such thing as sneaking up behind a skeleton if they can twist their body in circles :p

*Kalek roamed through the open streets, the public moving out of his way with haste as he approached. Strolling through the streets, he casually looks to the sides. Everything in the city was peaceful. Everything as it was to be. Yet, nothing less could be expected of the capital of the empire. With Lord Hellion so close, able to make decisions quickly after they happened. He came to an opening, and a bell tolled, not from a cathedral, but from the fortress. Having reached an opening, Kalek sighed. Spreading his wings wide, and the public scurrying for shelter, Kalek pumped his wings, sending powerful winds upon the public as he lifted off. Within moments, he was flying back towards the massive fortress, back to his studies.*

ooooh so close. If you hadn't left, I could've started with you. XD

*"Get out of here, you mangy mutt!" A voice yelled as pans flew out of the restaurant entrance. Right after that, a large grey wolf ran out and faced the door. A knife was thrown and she dodged by running away. The wolf walked through the crowds, people staring as they walked passed her. The grey wolf looked up at the sky and saw that it was going to rain soon. She started to look for food again, and happened to pass by a man selling knives. "Aren't you a beauty?" The man said. He pulled out some knives and began cutting food. "Come one, come all! These knives are what you need in your kitchen. Proven to be sharp and stay sharp for three times longer than your other knives!" He began cutting food with an old knife. "See how dull this knife is? It can't even cut this meat. But if you use these knives, you barely have to work!" The knife cut through the meat like a hot knife through butter.*

*People began to form a crowd to watch the show. "But that's not all! It cuts through meat easily. Vegetables? No problem! Here, you want to try?" He offered a lady. She grabbed the knife and began cutting with it. She was thrilled. He then moved on. "Ever have trouble cutting that roast or steak? You won't anymore. These knives cut through bone with the effort it takes to cut through meat with your old knives! Just watch." The man began cutting a slab of meat. Within a minute, he had taken the bones out completely. He then handed the knife to a lady and she tried it. She too was thrilled. After the crowd left, buying all of his knives. He grabbed the meat, put it on a plate, and laid it out for the wolf. She looked at him and slowly crept over and sniffed it. She took a bite and realized how good it was. She soon finished the meat, but when she looked up, he was gone. The table was gone, the supplies were gone. It was just here and the plate.*

*The Dire wolf turned around and walked outside of town. A drop of rain hit her and she ran for cover in a stand of trees. She found a tree with a hole in it and sniffed it out. Nothing had been living in it, so she took it and curled inside to sleep.*

If anyone wants to come and disturb her on their way to town, go ahead. Remember that it is raining hard, so people are going to go for the first cover they find, this stand of trees. lol

"Damn! Just what i need. Rain!"*Lorth was traveling west, to the city of Xendrin, well known for it's fine blacksmiths, a drink called Spirits, and the old Canith ruins that lie around. Lorth thought jobs would be easy to find in this place, but was quickly sick of traveling. He could have at least found some company. He ran to the nearest tree around, for some cover.*

K was already on the ground on one-knee, He ducked after he saw the sword swinging towards his head, He then rolled again the the left and prepared to fight, Though he doesn't know how to, " Hahaha! " The skeleton laughed and aimed a kick at his head, K blocked, Barely. He was pushed to the left from the force of the kick, And after that the skeleton lunged forward for a stab, Seeing as he doesn't have to time to dodge, He prepared for whats coming to him, He closed his eyes and waited, And waited. But, It never came. He opened his eyes to see himself lying down on the cold wet ground, He saw it was raining and he knew it would take a while to get home, He ran towards a tree with a hole in it and sat beside ( not inside :p ) the tree. He sat down for a few moments contemplating what just happened. He looked around and saw a large dark figure inside the hole.

*Lorth looked around, trying to find better cover then the branches of the tree, though it was a rather large tree. Judging by the crust.. these trees are old. Very old. He noticed something on the side of one of them... It's hollow! "Hope there's enough room there..." He thought as he started walking to the tree..*

The Holy Knights company led by Gabriel marched swiftly across the countryside road, keeping a careful watch over the area around them. They were aiming to arrive at the next town they could for supplies, before moving out once more to continue their mission for the organisation. Gabriel surveyed his knights and made sure they kept a quick pace.

*Looking out the window, Kalek could see rain on the horizon. Sighing, he turned back to the scrolls, and continued reading the ancient text upon them. Hellion had retrieved these from the arcane libraries when he had taken over the human lands. He went out of his way to preserve all the knowledge. He knew, that with his claiming the lands, that the documents would likely have been torched had he not given explicit orders to claim the libraries and places of knowledge. That was the only way he was able to acquire the scrolls for Kalek to study, and Kalek appreciated it, though it happened before his lifetime. With this in mind, he made sure never to scrutinize the art, to find a way to make it work. He had learned the risks, and accepted them. And, as he continued reading the parchments under the dim light, he tiwrled a finger in the air subconciously, and made a glowing halo of golden light, though he never noticed it's effect on his reading better.*

K looked and saw dark figure lying inside the hole. He tried to stand up and look, But he felt a hot white flash of pain on his right ( or left? ) shoulder where the skeleton hit him, ' I thought it was just a dream! ' Though K, He ripped off some of his clothes and bandaged the wound. Now he had a large rip off his left foots pants. He decided to risk it and sleep instead to replenish his stamina and heal his wound. He took a sharp looking rock just in case. He lay there, Oblivious to the world around him.

The rain poured harder but the Knights kept marching, ignoring the down pour and remaining vigilant. They were battle-hardened soldiers who overcame all obstacles, zealous warriors who left nothing of their enemies and brave crusaders who feared nothing - the rain was not even a slight annoyance to them.

The proud Holy Knights marched with zeal, heading to the nearest town, but with only groups of trees in the distance, it seemed to them there was still quite a distance to travel. But they were undaunted by this and kept their pace.

*As Lorth got closer to the tree he noticed a figure... A boy was laying there. Sleeping, as it appeared. Oddly, he had white hair, and unusually pale skin. Upon taking a closer look, Lorth noticed the boy was wounded, and quickly looked around, in case whatever hurt him was still there. He realized that made little sense, because the boy was still alive, but then again it's better to be safe then sorry.*

(Oh, right... Edited. You could have mentioned that in the character sheet. We're outside the tree, so we don't know the wolf is there. And it's a simple way to get the story going, Infinite :p)

K opened a little bit of his left eye and looked around, He looked around more and noticed someone walking towards the tree. Slowly he gripped the sharp rock he had in his arm and prepared for incoming company. He flexed his right shoulder a bit and noticed that the pain was lesser that last time. He looked at the human looking elf.

How is it that you guys can make so much noise outside of a tree? The tree isn't even that large, either. (and it's close to a town, not a village. XD)

*Rainshadow woke up from the approach of the boy. She stayed still, and waited to see what he was doing. 'He's injured.' She thought. 'and aparently in a lot of pain. He won't be of much trouble, should I have to fight him off.' The large female dire Wolf began to get up when she heard footsteps. Another creature was coming, and it sounded human and was larger than the boy. Maybe it was the boy's father? Rainshadow waited, keeping herself hidden in the dark hollow. If it posed a threat or got too close, she would have no other choice than to chase it off.*

The Knights' silver armor shone brightly as if illuminated by holy means and stood out in the dim weather. They marched onwards, the only light for a long distance it seemed. Gabriel observed his surroundings. Seeing only the road ahead and trees and open plains around them, he kept going forward.

K noticed a sudden movement in the hole inside the tree and his head darted towards the dire wolf, " A wolf! " K though to himself. He stood up and looked at the wolf trying to be intimidating. Though, He was failing because of him gripping his right shoulder because of the wound. " I'm not in the mood for this.. " K mentally sighed.

The Knights stopped in the plains nearby, setting up a small campsite to coordinate their effort. The company's new camp was to be the temporary base of operations for the company until further notice. Gabriel remained on guard and surveyed his soldiers. All of them kept a professional attitude and demeanor, with the exception of a couple of new recruits, who were young and had little experience in war. But Gabriel knew that they would eventually become like the other knights; reserved and with little emotion - it was only a matter of time.

Lorth quietly observed as the boy stood up and looked at the hole in the tree. Ether something's wrong with the kid, or something is in that tree... Lorth was slightly annoyed by the whole... Awkwardness of the moment. He looked to the tree, but wasn't able to see anything from the angle, and then turned to the boy again.
"Hey." He managed to mumble.

Many of the Knights began to gather around the company's spiritual leaders for religious guidance. Gabriel himself joined the other ranks under the military chaplains - Knights who have great spiritual power and religious knowledge, as well as performing many priestly duties such as blessings, exorcisms and giving rites. Gabriel knew well that a powerful faith is one of the greatest assets against any foe, recognizing the chaplains as a vital part of the Holy Knight's forces.

yes, it is going nicely. A lot better than the other RPs I've been in. XD

*Rainshadow saw the boy's reaction. She knew that he saw her. She stared at him, as he stared back. The rain had not let, and as she was about to break the silence, a voice spoke, 'So that wasn't my imagination.' Rainshadow stayed quiet as the boy became distracted by the newcomer.*

K's eyes darted to the direction of the stranger. K stared blankly with no particular emotion written on his face. He stayed quiet looking at the trespasser. He crouched slightly with his knees bent and his arms crossed in an X formation with the right hand holding the rock, He may have had a dull life, But he atleast could train himself in fighting. " State your business. If you dare to harm me... " Said in a monotone voice, " I will not hesitate to kill you. "

"I see." Lorth scratched his head and decided not to provoke the boy with sarcasm, even at the cost of losing such a great chance. "My business, you say? I was just walking by, when this accursed rain started. I'm here for cover."*Lorth sat down, his back turned to the tree.* "Hope It doesn't take too long.

By the way, what's inside the tree?"

The Knights began organizing fire teams to scout the surrounding area. Though two of the new recruits were inexperienced and were not battle hardened soldiers, Gabriel believed that the girl and the boy would be both able to accomplish a simple scouting mission. Besides, only the best of the best are chosen to be recruited into the Holy Knights - even the recruits Gabriel knew, would be able to hold their own.

Once the teams were organised, four Knights to each of the three fire teams, they were sent into different directions to scout the area around. The two recruits and two more senior Knights formed the second fire team and were sent alongside the road, the first stop to investigate a group of trees.

I wonder why people like to investigate tree's so much nowadays..

" If you gotta know, Its a wolf, That much i know. " K stated the obvious. " Well, Go on with what your doing. As long as you don't disturb me. " K said again. Though he had to raise his voice a bit because the rain was pouring harder than ever. " Hmm, You know what. I might as well head to the next town seeing as how this tree isn't gonna help me. " K said to himself. He went to the tree and started looking around if he dropped anything important.

*Rainshadow had had enough. She wanted to sleep in peace, and all she got was noise and a possible threat.
A low growl reverberated from the hole in the tree. Glowing red eyes now appeared from the hole in the tree. The wolf backed up and prepared to pounce. The Fury, though no one knew about it, had been activated.*
Yeah, I've noticed everyone wants to go to my tree. lol The town is actually just around thee bend. Som it's no more than a quarter mile. XD Also, if you want your characters to not heed the wolf's growls, feel free. It adds more to my character's Fury ability. also, if you decide to face her in combat, she wouldn't be easy to beat. The fury adds to their speed and strength, and makes them oblivious to pain. She's also not in control of it. XD fun, right?

I don't care about the name, as long as it isn't the archon city. Since K is still somewhat near his village, it would have to be in my territory. However, not everyone in my territory is undead, or effected by necromacy. I left the towns unchanged. So, to the people, it was just a change in ownership. XD
