Ok so i thought. its much easier to put (not all but) some of the charr info here.
That will be about Torin. It will be clear when you read below.
Well the hidden things say when you may open them. Since i know that is not going to work and people will open them. that's fine. but just don't let your charr know that. (if you do use them inRP (and you may not) that will be a bit lame.
Info of Torin that anyone may know. (not characters but players.)
*Torin can not speak. (Torin however does have ways to communicate.)
Rank: Scoundrel of the earth. I would put scum of the earth there, But it reminds me too much of a song. :/
Class: Warlock
History: Former member of Dark Iron's army, but, to reasons unknown he still walks this earth even without his former master. He constantly attacks villages and tries to wreck havoc wherever he goes.
Abilities: Despite his expertise in the magics of a Warlock. He mainly focuses on summoning demons to do his bidding and then support him by inflicting their opponents with curses and other magics of the dark arts.
I hope that gets accepted , I wanted to be a necromancer, But that would require a background of why he is one. :/
Class: Riftwalker (Wanders on the edge of other realms)
History: Lost to the winds, her past is very mysterious. She woke up from her 1000 year sleep and set up to continue what she started. Though what that is, nobody knows.
Abilities: As a Riftwalker, she draws her energy from other realms, without any regard for what happens there. She focuses on curses and shadow manipulations.
Family trait: Siren’s Scream – a deathening scream that disables the nerves responsible for giving orders to the rest of the body, thus paralyzing her foes for a couple minutes. (Used on foes who aren’t willing to listen to what she has to say)
Fun facts: Though she’s not addicted to magic, she draws the souls out of the dead. This is probably for her own amusement.
You may find a reference about her from very old ledgers, but they’re probably inaccurate.
Clan: Shadow Raven (clan of soul-sucking shadow dragons)
Home: Mistweaver Fortress
Territory: Swamp, Demon Realm
Riftwalker Abilities: Shadow Manipulation (creates physical obstacles and weapons out of shadows; concentration required to absorb someone into the shadows)
Shadow Form (become a shadow for traveling unnoticed; isn’t affected by light)
Soul Reap (stealing and absorbing souls, sometimes on massive scale)
Mirror Portal (portals form on reflective surfaces like metal and water)
Shadow Fog (Breathes a fog-like substance out of the mouth, which clings to opponents and causes damage slowly; has no effect on magic)
We've never heard of the game or the character, so making such a reference, and assuming we play it, is futile. Your assumptions and hopes have been thus crushed.
History: A creature little more then a large more deadly form of a Dark Ogre. Madox fell into a pool of dark energy when he was younger that was left behind by some ancient dark wizard. Need less to say it changed the ogre that did not drown but only became tainted as he resided in the dark pool before emerging several years later.
a corrupting aura... I think you are going to try turning my soldiers on me... I would think it'd take time, slowly seeping in as corruption does so well. And believe me, Kalek is not immune to it in the least. And magic, the arcane in his case, is corrupting. If this aura were to meet him, he'd be more likely to head towards the Shadow magics, and it's subcatagory, Necromacy. (used too often. Darkiron, and Devilak. :/)
Still, I think this could be getting interesting. I'll make sure to sick some troops on it some time. XD
lol It's hard not to use necromacy when you can build up an army of dead people. Just because I have an army of necromancers and shadow creatures, doesn't mean I want them to die. lol Thus for the reason to have cannon fodder. Useful in taking hits, dealing blows, and tiring out the enemy, if not killing them. My necromancers can then raise the bodies under my control. XD
Best things about undead army. No needs like food and rest, can't be killed and numbers after a battle grow. And are best cannon fodder. They don't fear no matter what.
As long as they stay out of the crops, there's enough food for everyone. Well, everyone alive. Nothing like having to burned tainted crops! :/
Mike@ could it be possible to post an updated version of the character sheet? It gets tiresome sifting through the discussion we had about it, and trying to figure out waht was changed, and what remained. So, an updated version here would be great.
I don't recall Corrupting Aura's being Necromancy maybe more of blood magic but it depends on how exactly it corrupts. For instance you assume it will be something in an instant and that it will effect your soldiers while it actually will only effect food and goes over time. Basically it just taints crops, food, etc.
Well, it may be something in the air that forces the brain to produce a chemical, or slowly become addicted to something in Shadow magic. Thus it could force an addiction to that cruel form of magic, and during the transformation, make them ever more violent. It must really suck for those who can't use magic, being addicted to the stuff. XD
I know them from Heroes 5. Enslaved spirits that fight for who ever controls them but there they are half man half lion with 4 arms. Tho original are from India.
Rakshasa, in buhdism or hinduism, are demons who serve the Ravana, the king of Rakshasas. He was a Rakshasa with ten heads.
Legend has it that many Rakshasas were particularly wicked humans in previous incarnations. Rakshasas are notorious for disturbing sacrifices, desecrating graves, harassing priests, possessing human beings, and so on. Their fingernails are venomous, and they feed on human flesh and spoiled food. They are shapechangers, illusionists, and magicians.
Koicheen, mine came from wikipedia, and was focused around the real mythes and legends of THIS Earth. You know games and movies create their own version based off of real myths and legends, right?
Yeah. Sometimes. This isn't really that similar to the real world, they just took the name.
I can go on about this being a gamer site (Where most of the people haven't even heard of this earth. Although i don't think that applies to the users of this group.), but i can't see the point. Also, i noticed i still haven't thought of a new character, or at least continued with the old one. I'll have to get to it...
