Just a question -that might already been answered before-, will the map follow the original game's storyline? And, do we have to blow that chopper up? :p

Its will be have the same background story (btw. this project is the orginal too just with more different weapons and enemy types and just coop/bot support) but the main story will be a little bit different because in this paranoia mod you will play the first alpha squad team and not number 2 so you will different creatures and other things than in half life 1 paranoia.

@ topic: btw. I have finished a new event typ called slow motion sometimes at special events you will get slow motion in order to kill your enemies faster and better.

Okay... some little news I have improved the grenade with the help of my great animator pkw here a little picture about the rotation animation, the ground dust touch effect and the flying line:

Cool feature, somekind of eyecandy but as said above, could increase your precission or critical strike chances. Will there be any armor attachments?

Love the bullets, very realistic compared to other bullets in WC3. The laser is okay, looks cool...
You might try changing the "I've been hit..." message to something less eye-catching such as dark red or remove it entirely, having white words pop out in the middle of combat would make it less realistic.

I think you don't know that the white text message over the head are just the new chat... and yes the bots can chat with you too.

At the first dev. alpha version I have used some voices but since I have add a lot of new models so I haven't got anymore enough place for voice sounds so I have removed them in addtion the orginal paranoia voice sounds are only in russian and myself and and not every person knows the russian lanuage so its don't makes sense for me to put them back.

@supertoinkz: Maybe you don't read every single post but I already told: everything you can see in my current posted pictures are still and just working in progress so everything can still be changed btw. the bullets in this screenshot are not final and I must say that I don't want to show you the current bullets but I was to lazy to remove the bots only for a screenshot about a laserpointer attachment.

i can get a Teamspeak³ server for this, but only for the closed beta hm..
mh i asked grievous1 he said this is an good idea :D, so you can join games, play with us and other in the closedbeta team etc. ..

but on the public version maybe recommended mh yes i think so :D

But anyways, will there be any chat modifications to ensure that even without a vent players would have quick access to certain commands to the team?

yes you can communicate with the team members over teh chat :D but maybe we'll add some commands like

I must say I don't like left 4 dead its really boring for me and not anymore my thing if you know alien swarm its will be a liltte bit more like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNbs1IZT9DQ like slow motion (bullet time) useable turrets and hacking missions.


@ Marsal2000: sorry but I really don't understand your question maybe because of my english language issues then sorry I just say at this point the terraining is created for only multiplayer actions because you are at every time 4 soldiers because of the new bot system and you can walk at every chapter different ways maybe this could answer your question.

Now if there is a road and above it there is a bridge, you can only walk on the ground, or if you add flying platforms, you can only walk on the bridge. The system makes possible to walk on both. Well, because english is not my native, it's hard to explain so I made a little pic.

The system would calculate the flying height of the character(s) depending on the ground height and the height of the platforms if used. That could be an awesome idea that opens new dimension in map making, but dunno if possible. Or if possible, it would be kinda hard.

and I want to say that I have just finished the new flashlight attachment effect and I have add some new missions like defend a scientist an things like this so keep tracking I wall show you soon a some bigger updates than this we just need to fixx some new problems and this takes a little bit time I think at the moment maybe just this weekend.
