    Yeah, man, that was a rough revelation. 😅 I truly thought it was just a goofy, fun way of doing a smiley face, and I'd been using it A LOT for those 2-3 years (which felt like so long, at ~18) I was there.

    Animator? Anymore nowadays there are so many good animation sets being made by the likes of HerrDave & Gluma & Villagerino & whatnot, who seem pretty cool with people yoinking them for their own custom assets... Maybe there's something there you can use (transferring with RMS)

    You seem really bothered by the fact that I... rated a map on it's design rather than it's gameplay? I wanted to provide some praise for a fellow modder, a little more officially than just sending them a private message. I don't understand your frustration.

    It's funny you should ask me that, because I had the same thought when Remastered came out: "do I swap?". But it is indeed intentional that I'm staying with the OG... For one, I just have a great amount of nostalgia for it, simple as. 😅 Starcraft came out when I was ~8/9, and it was a formative game for me, and the Archon has a special place in my heart, with that portrait in particular sparking great joy for me.

    But also, while I totally think Remastered did a great job modernizing all the Starcraft art assets while keeping the vibe, heart, & soul of the OG (something I desperately wish we could say about Warcraft 3)... I gotta admit, the new Archon portrait unfortunately does one thing I don't really prefer: it makes the visuals more clear. The new Archon isn't nearly as shrouded by clouds or as mysterious as the OG; the shape of the face clouded by energy, the eyes totally obscured behind glorious purple fire. The original just had a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about it that the newer one lacks. Maybe someday I'll publish that blog post about it...

    Anyway, that's why. : )

    i'm gonna make an mmo game that I'm still brainstorming, theres a couple of things to iron out that I'm struggling with interms of gameplay, theres also the blending of different genres im attemping, all in all pretty exciting tho!

    Deleted that model thread where you replied. I posted the model in the wrong section... :hohum:

    Been involved with Reforged content for a while (primarly via Chronicles of the 2nd War).

    Though, the model I posted is just a one time thing.
    I checked something in the necromancer model,
    noticed that with some modifications it was sorta Forsaken-ish
    and decided to finalize it.

    Sorry it took me so long. I finally figured out how to do it (it's like this whole other website/console, totally weird), and also-finally set aside the time to do it. 😓

    Now I still haven't figured out exactly how to do the Medals as well for the top 3 (something about image-size? Gotta find the right one), but I'm working on that, so bear with me.

    Not really. I was trying to make this race for whole year. It was corrupted a few times, I was starting from the scratch over and over.
    So I ended up keeping all ideas and teachtree in my head, over time changing whole thing bcs it just dont feel right.
    But hey, specially for you I created Wiki on Hive. Just click on Icons and you will get some basic information.
    THO I still recomend to try it, the whole egg system aorks pretty satisfying :)

    Since I couldn't be bothered releasing those Pandaren models I made for the contest, I'm granting you full permission to release them instead. If you want to, that is.
    The models serve me no use anymore and it would greatly help others that would need such resources.

    This is how to download the digital versions of WC3 v1.27a + Diablo II 1.14b + StarCraft 1.15.2 (including their extensions) 100% *legally* from Blizzard.

    For WC3, we read this post, and we click on the first two links if we use Windows:
    https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/warcraft3/t/classic-warcraft-iii-official-installers-official-patches/21415
    We get the downloader (2.5 MB). We launch it, we discover that some checks regarding any Battle.net account are now gone (3 error boxes to close), we give it some authorizations (imho unneeded because the downloader will use http and not P2P, unless you explicitly tell it to in the options menu), we choose the folder to save the full version of RoC/TFT and here we go, 'en voiture Simone!'

    I'm sorry, I have no idea (nor exactly why you're asking me). I never knew if there was, haven't looked, and wouldn't know where to look if I wanted to.

    It's clear this is very important to you, and I really respect & admire that. But with as little as I'm actually modding anymore nowadays (0%), I just have to hope that what I have is enough, and I'm not particularly motivated (except out of a smidge of 'scholarly/historian interest', as you put it) to figure out more.

    After you had downloaded the Legacy version from Blizzard's servers, you told me that your TFT version was 1.26a, not 1.27a. That was in September 2020. This is why there are so many Profile posts in this discussion.

    Have you compared the SHA-1 of your downloaded installer files with mine?

    This is imho important for everybody, because it would mean that more full offline standalone downloadable installer versions of Legacy WC3 exist, and that hopefully more could be created by Blizzard, including the ones ranging from 1.28.0 to 1.31.1

    As of this writing, I am aware only of the existence of v1.21b and of v1.27a2
