I like those models but I think the color for the forces of Lordaeron is Grey or White. In the original WC2 the color for Lordaeron is white but since the armors are already white/grey then I would prefer a dark grey color for this nation.
@deepstrasz Lions were the MAIN symbol of Azeroth true, but it wasn't exclusive to them.
as for Lordaeron Team color, we tried White originally, and aesthetically it looked really bland, like full on Metallic or non-colored, this is why we chose the WC3 team color of light blue which is still "white-ish" in a sense.
I too have tried to use White as a color in-game for Lordaeron but it's hard, I was able to use it as only a few units of the tech tree are from Lordaeron while the rest are from the Silver Hand (Light Blue) and the Kirin Tor (Violet).
I am really loving these pictures showing the human nations. I can't wait to see more, especially Gilneas.
Are you guys also making Silver Hand units? Out of curiosity.
I believe Silver Hand used Teal in Warcraft 2? It always feels weird to see Silver Hand any color other then Light Blue, but Teal does fit them pretty nicely too, in my opinion.
So the knights are super sexy. Those war hammers look really good.
Another nice detail, I think, is that the foot soldiers have the same blond beard as their Warcraft II counterpart!
And I don't find light blue as a color for Lordaeron bad either.
It's just a nice thing between Warcraft III's careless "every important human is blue"-blue and Warcraft II's white.
Edit:
In my opinion, white would go well with the Silver Hand.
1.: Within the Knights of the Silver Hand you can compensate the white with a bit more gold ornaments in the armor.
(So in comparison with the state troops of Lordaeron.)
And 2.:
In heraldry, the color "white" is in the "metals" category and is actually "silver". So it would somehow fit too. ^^
