yay, let´s start an epic war of the rpgs on hive!

The first 38 screens are more or less finished landscape screens;
the following 50 screens are W.I.P-Screens.

A lot of this is good, but some of it is not so good. It's hard for me to judge because it is all hi-res.

I think you need to download a better water model, though =P

Wow, these are pretty sweet. Too bad high-res doodads usually look like sh*t in Warcraft.

Maybe some more atmosphere in the WIP ones.

As you see on the last screenshot I use already a suitable watercolor.
I could use the waterplanemodel for smaller brooks or ponds but not for huge surfaces of water.
That would increase the doodadcount ( topical: ca. 24.000 ) too strongly.

its not about water color, you need a water plane model from UTM, it looks awesome. And besides, teh stuff is awesome, seen it on your forum before.

I'm not going to rate this one.
Many of the screens you made look very cool, others look a bit plain. What I have to note is that it no longer looks like Warcraft III (that may be the aim, but still).
Great work anyway.

Well, atleast they´re more W(ork).I(n).P(rocess)-Screens then finished ones.
It seems that the difference between the wip-screenshots and the finished ones isn´t clearly sightable to everyone. °_°

Most look great. You terrain well with those models. Would make for a great map. I sense it will crash the game though. I dunno, but I'd imagine these models expand the load time a ton. Lag? Frustration.

Well.. If it's a campaign it won't be as laggy as each section will be loaded seperately. I hope it's a campaign! (that or you somehow manage to stick this puppy on b.net)

The current mainmap just need 15-20 secs to load ( all models & skins are in a own Neratia-MPQ and not in the import manager btw. ).
The most triggers aren´t included yet but I don´t think that they will improve the loading time significantly.
Additional the fps isn´t that bad as you can see here ( Far-Z = 8000 ):

And you´ll be able to change the far-z ingame in the finised version of the map to increase the fps.

You got mine beat I guess. I doubt I'll ever release it, but it would be b-net compatible, and therefore I have to keep doodads to a minimum. As well the multiplayer quest system is not going well.

Amazing terrains, ESPECIALLY if they are all still works in progess. I seriously think that you may be better than MadseN, and he is an amazing terrainer as well. Great work on the terrain and good luck with Neratia RPG for WarCraft III. Will definitely play it when its out.
