Map Info


You control a lost peasant abandonned in a strange cavern by your lord. You must leave this cavern by killing monsters or by rushing the exit.

Features


This cavern change everytime you think you reach the exit, that why you must maybe level up before or know very well this cave.

  • IA can play but have low brain.
  • Differents methods to achieve the goal.
  • Killing monsters can be not the only thing you will be doing in this cavern to win...


Some other stuff about map


Terrain is simple, creeps are simples, everything is simple because I wanted to finish to make the layout of the map very fast to have the challenge of trying to make a fun map with few things.

Balance is not fair of course, creeps can be very weak against you at some time, but its not attended to be easy or hard, its attended to be finish in differents ways with just one personnage.

Not sure what to say here.
It is definitely a map; but it also barely works as a playable game.

You have the objective nicely set up, it works properly; good. Problem is that very little else does.
In general, the balance is off and the gameplay seem to consist whatever vague melee-game mechanic you can slap together and roughly call an "escape".

- Collisions are wonky (they seems excessively large); which is especially bad for a map that calls itself an escape.
- There are no directions, you have to find the end goal yourself, which is a poorly marked cave. Once again, quite a problem for an escape type map.
- Your hero has more active abilities than you have actual icon space for.
- Your abilities have no tooltips besides the name, thankfully they are all default abilities.
- Enemy mob placement is random, no effort is made to actually scarmble the rotation of each unit in a pack.
- Terrain is poor both aesthetically and functionally.

All I can say is that this is a fun map but with many issues...

Ups:
  • Minimalistic design and gameplay
  • Simple mechanics
  • Easy to get-on and play
  • With AI!
Downs:
  • NOT so custom-made skills and items
  • Slightly unbalanced player-vs-enemy fighting
I played the map with the AI's only. I found out that as you go further, players are getting more OP.
Fix this and you're good to go!
Overall, you've made a great map. :thumbs_up:

Put back to awaiting update since the changes that was needed, as pointed out by Kino, hasn't been applied to the map yet.
The description is looking a lot better though, good job!

Although, the game in itself is simple, and will need a great deal of improvements to get approved.
