I was bored and to improve my skills in jass i started making the duel system, in jass! its half done now and its fully MUI!!!!
 
Ok when ya finished with skills do this:
Make the arena in the place you said, then make 2 regions one for each player spawning place in the arena. after you do that ill edit the the triggers to work with the new regions!good luck dude!
Edit: I have a question, have you modified any triggers since the last time i uploaded the map????
Edit2:I'm learning alot with this trigger because i'm doing it from scratch in jasscraft, anyways I'm about 90% done!
 
For The Next 4 Hours!

Ok, Luthion skills are ready for slot 1! Uploading the map. And in the next 4 hours fix the plant.mdx problem in some way. I want the map back in 4 hours ready for skills slot 2. I mena arena system imported, tests and debuggs (changelog appreciated) and plant.mdx problem solved!:nemor:

Tried, gives no errors!I'm gonna try reimporting the model!Doesn't work, i mean in does work but doesn't show any model, just a green checkered cube and says:Couldn't load plant.mdl
 
Umm ok ill try that im importing the duel system now, have you made the arena and the regions?
Umm ok i tried that but the game crashed like it used to crash before, im gonna remove the model, well find a solution later!
 
Ok, regions... no I didnt add them, maybe rename the model to plant2.mdx or something and try! And also change path to the doodad!

EDIT: Going offline in the next 3hours and 40 mins I want to have the problem fixed! Cye!

Luthion I found a bug. Make the skill thing for slot 1 check the condition if the HeroSkill1 is equal to 0. If it is 0 it works if 1 or 2 it doesnt. That's because the players can buy skills from slot 1 shop when in the procedure to buy slot 2 skills got it? Plz fix this! (i mean when in the are to buy skills for slot 2 he can still buy skills for slot 1!
 
Umm ok, but i havent finished the arena trigger yet, jass is complicated xD
Edit:Finished what you requested gonna restart working on the arena triggers again!
 
why always when hawk edits the map the size decreases?!
luthion made this item system map, 1,2 mb
now u have a new version and its 1 mb
i hope u dont edit old maps all the time!

and one more: when the map reaches the alpha status when have to decrease the map size again!
the map has to be as small as it can!
plant.mdx, for example, has 39 kb!!!! and its such a simple model!!!
i think it could be 2-3kb
 
Finished!!!Now i just need Hawk to tell me where to put the arena and make the regions

strange...

I made the hp box, whit out smoot as happy tauren advised, but there is a verry streange error-in the mangos model editor, 3ds max, you can see the brith anim how the box falls from the sky, but when i imported it to test the model into a map, that anim is not there..... i allways have problems when i actily do sameting a little better then normal...

If sameone like lord-t-rex ot happy tauren, can help, please post

Yep i sometimes also make such simple errors and go crazy because im looking for complex problems xD
Edit: can you help me happytauren? im having a problem in jass that i can't declare a local location variable for example
local location TempLoc
it says there's a syntax error in jasscraft and in WE it doesn't recognise the variable is declared at all!
Note:This only happens with locations!
Note2: I can do it with globals, just not locals!
 
Yes i always declare variables at the start
I tried doing it in another trigger and it worked, this thing has some wierd bugs O.o
 
I have a question for Hawk that is why we have like 200 variables that start with zz_ if we don't even use one of them, they are there for nothing its a complete waste of space!
 
Back online! Ok, I will answer to all questions:
Regions for arena are in the right of the map between the shops but with a little part between them and the shops so that players cant buy skills from shops!
We have about 200 zz_.... variables cause I didnt add these. They were added some other way. We can remove the uneeded ones in the end (waste of space as you said).
I am gonna check the model of the crate and say. Lord-T-Rex nice turret keep up the good work. And about the plant: Waht's going on with it? Cna we optimize size and things alike it?

Hat and Health Box are nice:) I am gonna w8 for Luthion for the rest stuff of the map!
 
What's that? Guys if there is a way to remove all the useless stuff then we will do so, but later. We have more important things to care for! So...
Luthion, what's on with the map? Maybe afk for a hour or so!

HT, Nobody did. And if you ask me I like Hell and I like burning!
