It is ok with me! For now let it be - after Alpha we decide! My computer is shit omg I cant work at all hopefully it will get ok... I am writing from a netcafe right now and I cant work in my computer. I may work from here tomorrow or if my Pc works I can work for home. Damn delay! This map is never gonna end like this and I an responsible for this! Damn! Really sorry (cries silently for being useless and luckiless)!!!!

I have an important notice to make, Warcraft III creations webmaster has accepted to make us a hosted project!Everithing he requires is that all members register in the site, to have a forum of our own, and everitime we update the map they will post an announcement in the main page(like they do here in the hive workshop).After the forum upgrade we will have our own email too.

Ok, guys I am ok with this we are becoming a hosted project there. I will work on the map some more today but I dont know if I will be able to finish all I need to. I will make the armory and upload. My computer is a little screwed, I just did a format (reisntalled windows) and only installed the basics and warcraft III. I need to download again all the files we have uploaded but at least I can work on the map. Dont expect much activity in the forum, I will focus on the map's development and let's hope everything is ok!


I registered in the Warcraft 3 Creations but havent got any mail send...


...Velm none of your DISBTN... icons work. Can you find the problem and fix it? The path is correct... but there seems to be some graphics problem or so. I dont know what it is exactly but I know that they show up black or invisible if it is the Hero DISBTNs. Very importnat bug. Please fix this asap. I will keep working!

Yeah I looked there but it is empty, emptier than my sotmach in the morning when I wake up!!! So any idea on what can be done? I have checked it my email is ok. Btw Lord-T-Rex I need a holy hand grenade model. I have a dynamite as well somewhere in my folders and that's all for now I think... Velm remake me the DISBTNs!

I did anyway I dont mind this I will tell Luthion to inform the admins there if the problem remains but I have to work on the map. The weaponry skills have been started already, I have made two by now Grenade and Cluster Grenade. Please find the post where I listed the skills of the Hero Armory. Ty!

Edit: armory skills? what is that?anyways i can't find your post in the last pages so i suppose it's very old, anyways what you want me to do with those? are any of them triggered? if yes then wich and what are they're effects?

All DISBTNs, none need triggering just need to see which ones I wanted to put but I dont remember, Velm ok, Luthion take the old map for screenies, nothing new added yet. When I am done I will send it, probably in the next 1-3 days. I also need the UI and the DISBTNs so it will take some time, but after this we will only need victory conditions to make the Alpha version. So it is for good!

IDEA TO ADD: In-game events!

Ok this system will be made by me, cause it is too easy and I will ask Luthion to add whatever he can if I have trouble or just run them through and tell me what bugs there are.
We need two variables - Event_Timer and Event_Name
They will be integer type.
Now for the triggers: One will be at 15 seconds that will Init both of them the Timer one will take a random value from 90 (seconds) to 300 (seconds) and the Name one a value from 1 to 5 possible or the max will be less based on how many different events we have.
Ok after the trigger is run it will be disabled to prevent any problems for later.
There will be a trigger for every event that will have no events and conditions just to be run.
There will be a trigger which will run every XX seconds (XX = value of Event_Timer) and it will run the ZZ trigger (ZZ = value of Event_Name). Then it will just set both values of the integers to some other random value between the same limits and when it is triggered it will run again. Simple and useful!

Now for the events:
I have though of three and you will find me more!
1) All units are infected with a disease losing life over time for some time.
2) All units get to miss more often than normally.
3) Special monsters from the Worm Gods will spawn in all lanes and will give lots of gold and resources to the player that kills them.

Find me more events!

Deathmatch, during 5 minutes everyone will fight and heroes cannot revive, at the end the team with the most remaining hero's will gain an enormous bonus gold, however during this time no worms will spawn, so it's heroes versus heroes!!

Ok, Hunter I copy you. Velm is off so we are in a resting week. Luthion the Sudden Death thing cant be a random event cause we will have sudden death after 45 minutes of game for 15 minutes, it will be a little different from what you said and then it will stop and start again after 15 minutes. It will be a triggered event that will be the ending of the game probably as the game wont last much more than 60minutes. The UI is the final part Hunter you are right and actually you deserve a break. But where is T-Rex? I havent seen him here lately... Luthion are you still having exams? If yes tell me how many more days and tell me actually when you will be able to work again. I have started to make some things in the map but it seems like we need much more time till we release the Alpha (at least a week)!

umm i think my exams are gonna last until next week ends and that's about it, then i will be able to work for 2 or 3 weeks and then another shitload of exams again.

Ok, seems like we have 1 week for the UI, armory and all the stuff till Luthion can work again on the triggers. Meanwhile, I will take some time to rest and add all the needed stuff in the map. The armory is gonna be different for all players. And all will have a mass destructive or at least very destructive spell.
I have some ideas that I will list here:
Bazooka Shooter - Exploding Wrath: It damages all units in a line killig them or leaving with about 5% of their life.
Shotguneer - Wrath Shot: Shoots a target making unable to move for 8 seconds dealing damage every second. If the target is killed under the effect of this skill the caster of this skill get XX extra gold for every level of the Hero killed (onyl Heroes can be targeted).
Explosives Specialist - Fiery Wrath: Sets an explosive trap that damages all units in an area when triggered and creates flames in the area that damage all units within it for XX time. (XX=havent decided for how long yet)
Sabotage Specialist - Paralyzing Wrath: Makes all units in a targeted area sleep (tanks are not affected) for XX time (XX=havent decided for how long yet) and then they are stunned for ZZ time (ZZ=same with above) helping you to move forward more easily.
Meele Specialist - Punch of Wrath: Hits a unit dealing XX instant damage to it and making it take damage over time. When it is killed two worm punchers will be created from its corpse. (Heroes only)
Stealth Specialist - Assassin's Wrath: Becomes invisible for 15 seconds to approach an enemy. When the enemy is hit XXX damage will be dealt to the target and the caster will become visible again.

All of the WrathSpells will have 180 seconds cooldown. Pretty useful in hard situations and can also be combined by players to destroy the enemy and push forward quickly!

P.S. all of these will need 200 mana!!!

I just noticed a bug in the hero revival system! Spell cooldowns are reset when you die!!! but this is unavoidable because the Hero-Revive doesn't work since the map is bugged(probably by WEU) and so we will have to live with it.

Ok, just this is a little bug, but it is not the problem of the WEU it is that we readd the spells to the Hero. The ones that are normally made by the game and are normally for the Hero like the Armory spellbook will work and cooldown normally. See it is not a bug just a thing to help players!

P.S. I have repped you all again for your work! :p

Ok I'm thinking of redoing all the icons, to fit the UI. I'll use those from worms 3d. I've registered on war3creations and I'm starting my work on the icons tomorow.

Ok, back and rolling Velmie! Just check the icons before uploading and find a ay to fix the bug! I love your old ones and I think you will do well. I will post a list of what new icons we may need but much much much later. When I have all the armory done. I have almost fixed my computer and have no more porblems. But the electricity was out for 3 hours today so couldnt work again. Omg I need some way to make all things fast but we have much time. I will make a blog. The more we advertise the better. The blog will be made with an account common for all of us and we will all know the password, I will pm it to you. It will be useful to have our own site even if it is a blog!

If you can use ingame do so, if not use not ingame. And you will see it only for 3 secs right so who minds this? The icon mater more I suppose. Anyway would you like, Lord-T-Rex, to release a model pack with all the models we have used till now? This will also give you more rep!

Omg this looks good. I will add the holy hand grenade and upload some other models I have like dynamite and some others I have made by a pal. They are not too good, I asked him to make them for fun and he says that he hasnt got a problem if you modify them... So w8 till I upload to fix any problems you may find!

EDIT: I will start the blog now and then make some more weapons in the map. Hohoho!

Ok, Luthion I found a BUGGGGGGG!
The Revival System revives the Hero but doesnt give him back the style! (Ouch!)
I will make this work with a separate trigger so that we can easily add the new styles later when we have more! And this will make thing easier for me!
I also added style to worms (hats, helmets etc.) The cloack was added to the vampire for now and I will make an assassin unit that will be invisible able to kill Heroes only!

EDIT: I didnt manage doing this thing with the style. I will ask you to do it after I finish my changes!

sorry guys i dont have enough skill and i kinda got bored of it but i can give yo the idea cause anyway you guys would do it faster. what happens is there a human base and a orc base and beside there bases are big hills and then theres a big fighting ditch in the middle and up on the hills are like a big army of orcs and human swords man. but first the camera like moves areound the bases watching swordsman practising or something like that and then moves to the other base. should have words along with it sayiyng like.... when theres war.(camera change). There's only one race that will win..(camera change) then the orcs and humans run at eachother. they stop in front of eachother (set movespeed to 0 and make them play attack).then over in the distance is a worm. turn all the heads of the units to the worm. play worm laugh sound . make all the units in the fighting ditch face the worm (out of attack animationn) then the worm grabs out his bazooka. or makes that tank that illidan made the umm cartoonish tank move out. or use a cannon and shoot and kill them all (only the guys in the ditch) then make a lower hill behind the worm and make massive lines of big armoies start walking out. then play a sound .example (the star wars enemy sound) a sort of deep sound. here are some shots of the p[art i was creating....

theres no worm team color is there? set the colors of the worms using triggers ingame if you can so player 1 has red worms. player 2 has fully (like using the color settings in the unit editor) blue worms and so on... enless you've already planned on doing that.. or creating a team color on the worms... sorry i couldn't do the cinematic

OH OH OH i got it. you know how in the game it usually has an arrow to select your worm? you could put a bouncing arrow above there head. and there is already one in the game. enless that gets annoying you can set something so that an arrow pops above there head when you click press or do something ot find your guy quicker?

The team color is a problem so I decided to make some effect on the starting model like the Hero Aura but different. It will be a little wisp (scaled down to fit the model and with much less polys) that will have team color and spin round the worm (it will be same for all worms not only Heroes). So add this to the base model and we will do well. And we may need some more animations! But that will be much later! Now add the spining wisp!

The map is progressing well. I have made some weapons and one ultimate weapon. I know this is slow but at least it is moving on. I can progress a little more today and tomorrow with the weaponry. I need the UI, BTNs and DISBTNs and also the statue model.

NEW UNIT:
Assassin - can target only Heroes, uses the cloack attachment, uses the shotgun weapon, high damage medium cloodown low life and spwaned 2 of them every 45 seconds along with the other units.

T3MPL4R yes actually we need testers I will add you and remove from the cinematic, which I will probably make myself... About the screenies they are great and funny! I will add them in the blog as well when I find time. I will check our forum. Lord-T-Rex why dont you register there? Velm find a way to work with the icons otherwise we will have problems, Luthion you can get back to the triggers when your exams have finished and Hunter make the UI and upload it as well as the statue. We are moving on great guys!
