I like Ralle's story the best :D

I came here to give feedback on the maps I've always been playing on B.net with my mates. Then I gradually map reviewed new pending maps.

Why I stayed? It's just addicting and I like posting anywhere that gives interest to me. This place interests me 100% more than sitting in a class.

Hiveworkshop is holding warcraft 3 alive, but sadly warcraft 3 will die anyway. And if it wont then only ones left would be those DoTA players... Warcraft 1 and 2 are already dead and will stay dead. All old games will die. HoMM 3 is pretty much one of the only old games that is still played alot, but even that is dying. Actually most of the strategy games are dying which is very sad. Even Age of Empires II is pretty dead even though it was very popular game years ago. First Person Shooters and Minecraft are taking over.

I joined because I like helping people, even if it's just feedback. I don't know why I stuck with Warcraft for so long over the years, just always found my way back to it and reinstalling the old discs even ended up buying new ones.

OT: I prefer the terran quick style chooser. I find it amusing how my favorite colors are Black, Silver/Grey, and Blue. And how my least favorite is brown and green.
The Terran interface is awesome. The only problem is the text that hurts my eyes... orange.

Before I join, I had World Editor opened 12 hours a day.

I really like Wc3 and that time of my life I liked it more than anyother game.
I must have spent them most time in a game (including and the WE time spent).

Came to upload my maps and get attention for it(I actually ran as a really successful host for one of my maps(great memories :p)).
Continued to stay cause I enjoyed helping in WEHZ a lot back in the day(I barely feel like touching it anymore).

I stayed because I felt more at home here than anything else and wanted to start actually posting in the off topic section.

I also used to enter every mini mapping contest from the 3rd to about the 8th(?).
That's when I had real motivation with mapping and making attempting to make some real competition around here.
That was until life issues kicked in and I also had to put in effort for school so my motivation for contests ran loose.

Over all is because I still have a burning passion for Wc3 and I seem to enjoy the community.
I feel at home here. :p

I was coming from TheHelper, but as the WC3 aspect soon died on that site, I was moving over to WC3C and Hive. So why did I end up on Hive long-term, instead of WC3C? Well, it was the first site to offer me a hosted project forums.

I also love the simplistic design of hive and how fast it loads. I don't stand sites with too much flash player gimmicks.

I enjoy the game and wanted to be like heinvers(I'm not good with names so forgive me). But that backfired and now I'm the polar opposite of him
