Overview:

This Altered Melee Epic brings you into a haunted village where winter has ended and the spring thaw reminds the nations that its time for war. Join the Goblins, Gnolls, Blood Elves, Dwarves and Trolls as they battle to conquer the melting valley. New features are seamlessly blended for easy-to-learn adaptations to the standard RTS WarCraft III gameplay. The most important change is the Ability to Possess your units. Possession bring the players camera view down to the units level. While this makes movement more challenging, the units speed is boosted by 150. Possessing Heroes creates an even more substantial advantage. Heroes receive and attribute bonus to Agility and Strength when Possessed. Possessed Heroes will receive unique visual effects based on race, this allows other players to be able to identify the Possessed Hero so that they can counter or avoid slaughter.

Each base comes with a gate system for defense. Harvesting Lumber can destroy the natural protection the trees offer. It may be wise to begin harvesting away from your main base. New shops that sell goods are strewn about the map. The items the shops sell correspond to the creeps guarding them. For example the Crypt (found in the Cemeteries) sells items and units of an undead variety. The Medicine Shop sells Potions and the Wizards Emporium Sells only Scrolls. Almost every creep will drop and item upon Death. Even the Deer can be hunted for meat. Dropped items correspond with their owner's traits.

When a creep is killed a zombie will be raised later and roam the map. Zombies do heavy damage when they wander into town but also have little health. Some Melee units have sharpened weapons and will draw blood from their opponent with each strike (this is purely for cinematic effect). All ranged units have projectile homing disabled so you can dodge enemy spears and bolts. Possessed heroes can learn never-seen-before Micro techniques as they dart through the battlefield. The Traitor's Pub let's you hire workers from all custom races to build whatever your enemies can build. Also, hire the Necromancer who has a Pocket Graveyard that brings 10 skeleton warriors to life over 50 seconds.

First Update:

-3rd person is good but dont you think that it will be hard for melee?
-Creeps are so strong! Creeps near at each Races' base are strong... Bandit Lord is strong and due to the fact, it can cast Divine Shield.

[] Suggestions:
-Improve some of the parts in your terrain! use raise/lower tools to make different levels in the ground, fill the mepty areas in the game with more doodads, remove those incorrectly putted doodads
-Either lower down the Sniper's damage or lower the attack speed of the Sniper.
-Dont put strong enemies near the bases of each races. Put them on wel-hidden area or at far areas.
Overall, this is quite a decent altered melee with good terrain, somehow balanced races and such. I would rate this 3/5 and +4 REP to you!

It looks pretty good, but Third person Melee is going to be pretty hard. But, you put a lot of effort in it, and I enjoyed it. 5/5. Oh, and uh, Where did you get the idea of Warcraft V? And yet no sign of Warcraft IV or something.

Played dwarves and things I found :
when the axe men became spear men they get a passive "poison sting " but I found that didn't work,
also some skills that supposed to be researched but didn't appear, like the last ability for the cleric
and lastly I wished that the spy bird from the cleric had a move command.
still alot of bugs but great game.

The zoom bug that gives you attributes is here also.
I know this is still in working stage. :3

I'm working on the "zoom bug" almost finished with it.
Are you saying the Spirit Sparrow (spy bird) did not move? Because it should., and it used to fly...
I will look into the research tech requirements. What else besides the Cleric Master training failed?

People really seem to not enjoy the terrain. This makes me a little sad, though I'm sure its for good reason. I designed the terrain to look like my town. I live in the White River Valley and the terrain is a fairly accurate portrayal of the landscape here. Oh well, my bad.

People really seem to not enjoy the terrain. This makes me a little sad, though I'm sure its for good reason. I designed the terrain to look like my town. I live in the White River Valley and the terrain is a fairly accurate portrayal of the landscape here. Oh well, my bad.

The bird has no move command , I could move it using Detonate then stop it.

Sniper has a 2 second cool down. Its supposed to be like a real sniper. 3rd person camera is tricky, part of the skill will be learning when to use it and when to turn it off. Thanks for the approval and all the great comments from everyone! Hell_Master, should I tweak the terrain and update of leave this version alone now that its approved?
