I think some of the fps issues are coming from the stairs pathing. Its rough on the old engine. Will try it with some invis platforms next time. As far as optimization goes the floors are all optimized to about 6 poly each, 1kb total. I also separated them as a different model so the engine wouldnt have to calculate the walls as walkable at all. Memory leaks should mostly be gone, every step of the AI has been triple+ checked. Im thinking its a mixture of unit count and pathing calculations. As well as being an older engine. But i will do my best to optimize it. Gameplay needs an overhaul anyways.
Ty for the advice and comments! File size was tough with this one. I made 12 seperate models and had most of them use the same texture files to try and save space. Also my cliffs I had to make a rock with 4 different faces so what you are seeing is the same rock rotated many times. I am thinking about reducing some movie sound clips which should free up some space for funner gameplay. It's to vanilla atm. Thanks for the interest and thoughts!
