What's up with my signature?

The [tags[/tags] thing keeps getting removed from my signature. I've edited my signature dozens of times to add them, and when I go to preview them it works, but when I click saved I get the confirmation "Your changes have been saved" then make a new post it's still the old signature. Going back into my signature to edit it, and sure enough, the tags/tags have been removed.

Any ideas why?

Try creating it in Pastebin and copying it after.

Ensure it doesn't hit the character limit. It seems the site throws no error or warning message if the limit is met, but hiddenly cuts of the signature text.

K I've deleted enough lines from my signature to give me the extra needed for this brackets, but it still hasn't changed. I wonder if the allowable character count was silently decreased.

I remember having issues with tabs before in signatures so I just used otables instead.

I just cnp'd that sig, deleted my old sig, saved, pasted it in and you can see the results below lol

Looks like @deepstrasz 's experience was right with tabs being problematic in signature, also this does not even work:

[tabs][/tabs] gets not correctly parsed, or cut away for some reason so the [tabs] body does just hang in the air.
