It appears whoever changed them back only did it on the Night Elf skin (I don't get how you guys can look at that neon blue on gray theme anyway...)

The blue looks quite desaturated on my screen so I kept that theme, although the display could differ for other users.
Anyway, I like the cakes more than the original rep icons.

You sure about that (you using the night elf or terran theme?).
I never use the terran theme (and thus wouldn't have it cached), but when I switch to it - it's still cakes.
