Hi everybody,
i like to make a little poll abount what resolution you use. Why i need to know that? So some things in warcraft shows an other behavior under differnt resolutions, especially Texttags.
My goal is it to optimize my map for the most used resolutions. But to do that i need first of know which resolutions are most common.
If you are not sure which resolution you use, just go this way: Warcraft Main Menu -> Options -> Graphics

Thanks in advance for voting!

1440x900.

I usually just modify the sizes to support all resolutions of 1024x768 and above. According to the poll, though, there are two people below that (640x400 and 800x600). Not sure if they are serious or just trolling.

EDIT: 800x600 is reasonable. 640x400 seems pretty low, though.

320x160 :/
I am not even sure WarCraft III will run on something that low...

I also thought things like text tags used visual space (0.0 to 1.0) for their size so were resolution independent. In my experience this only appears to be a problem for StarCraft II maps since there they use pixel values for some silly reason.

What maters more in WC3 is widescreen. Since some elements are height aligned such as text so are more visible on wider screens.
