Don't know where to post it, so I'll just leave it here:
According to WC3 RoC and TfT campaign designer Dave Fried, WC3 Reforged was initially supposed to get a remake of Warcraft 1 campaign. It never happened, and for that we have to thank Bobby K...

Can anyone upload the stuff from there here (for those of us, who don't use Discord)?

Edit: found the transcription of the above-mentioned design docs. Perhaps, some things can be salvaged for fan-made campaigns?

Aren't there some really good First War campaigns on Hive Workshop that have been around for years without official support from Activision? Given that Activision doesn't have the gumption to finish things, why honor Activision with our time, energy, and focus instead of independent creators?

Still, seeing what the original map makers could've done would be magnificent to witness.
