Warcraft 3 + TFT + Bnet Portable Version

Hi,

I am making a portable wc3 version with ALL features exept sounds...

I am remaking everything, also building an execute file with everything in it, so you only need one file on your USB (or any other portable device) for saving!

It currently have all features of normal wc3, just without sounds. They save alot of space and are not required for me, because at school I don't have sound.

Edit: Btw, did you see the video?

lol u mean i put this on my mp3 and then i can play warcraft while being at school? man i just have 2 weeks left at school lol. You should've made this much earlier =p

I haven't Halo on my pc. Also I will add a collection of editors to the Warcraft Portable Pack. Like JassPack NewGen and that like. MAybe I make a hardly reduced Halo Portable, too!

Uhm, well with the new 1.21b patch you could just make a copy of your current wc3 files, throw'em into a folder, and place said folder on your USB, and your set

Sometimes you may need common files or something along those lines, if you do, just copy those into your flashdrive as well

When I did it, it was a long shot, but it worked perfectly

I'm so unhappy my flashdrive broke

I didn't need to do any installing

I don't know how normal portable stuff works, but this was very easy to do

Well but that wouldn't save 1,2 gb of your warcraft folder when saving.
Also my portable is only one file and easy to handle :S

Sorry it will delay, I having trouble with auto keygen, just need to check what protection wc3 added to their mpq's...

Search the web a bit I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of programs that can do that, I think the War3 Viewer can even do it

Well the hidden files are added to the mpq not into but attached on the file, I have never seen something like that.

How big do you think the total file size will be??

Actually its about 400mb, 410 I think. But with agressive reduction it will be pushed down to 120 mb, which granting every USB Stick to be able to carry it. Greetz =)

WC3 Sound sucks anyways, i use music, or at school, i'd just listen to an mp3 player if i wanted to play it there. Good idea, hope you complete this, would be nice.

It doesn't sound right... If they bann your key we shouldn't be able to use it.

Humm? I don't understand what problems there are?

A keygen will create a random key and change wc3s key and TFT key before playing. So you will have another key everytime you play the game.

Keygens don't work with Battle.Net. You need a valid CD key to use it.

Well first of all why shouldn't a keygen work proberbly on bnet?
Secondly, mine did its action and gave me a free entry in blizzards bnet gamers hub.

1) Because Blizzard is smarter than that and only allows you to play on Battle.Net with a valid and registered CD key.

2) What is "bnet gamers hub"?

Its nothing, I just meant the key has let me log on into battle.net without any problems.
