IC: "Well, let's get going. K'rak, fully recovered yet? And Jay, guide me. My nightvision and left eye went off. I'm almost looks like a blind biomech." Peper walked north-east from the forest while talking.
"We still have to plant the landmines."
EDITOOC: "Probably Peper is the most useful now" Useful? I'm half blind lol, can someone lend me another nightvision lol?

OOC: Time for a little fixing up.....

IC: " Hey Peper, i think i can fix your eye problem. It's temporary but it will work, though not 100%. You okay with it? It will only take a while."

OOC: To prevent character control, I will have to ask for the consent of Peper. :D

OOC: I could now argue wether you are allowed to know how to repair a biomech eye, since you are not classified as Technician/Medic, but as normal warrior. Well, I think i will just give you some hints. The place of the turrets is illuminated well and the sniper rifles have infrared scopes.
Edit: You're fucking fast. Well, now its up to HolyFireX to decide in which way he wants to risk the mission.

OOC: Wow...... Are you guys mind-readers or something? I was thinking of that way.....

IC: " Err Peper are Biomechs mind readers? Cuz i intended to patch that sniper-rifle scope into your broken eye. It's easy. And when you use the sniper-rifle all you need to do is use that eye to aim."

" So.... Are you ready?"

OOC: Wow i stay offline half a day and so much happens haha
IC: K'rak watches curiously as Peper's vision is being worked on. {Without vision..the cyborg isn't very useful. I am hoping this works}
K'rak stops breathing heavily. "I am mostly recovered, certainly well enough to continue with the mission. What else did i need to do? I cannot remember what i need to mark" K'rak states. He uses his radio. "James what did i need to mark and how much more time do we have?" K'rak inquires.

OOC: Rolled a 3. 5 or 6 would have been success.

IC:You remove the scope from the rifle and try to place it on Pepers eye, but you find no way to lock and hold it in the position. And since Peper demanded haste, you give up and try to place the scope back where it belongs. But you do not manage to put it back on the rifle.

OOC: Now you have a Sniper Rifle without scope. Outch

IC: "K'rak, you do not mark anything, you have to place the mines. Get moving"

Ok i've forgotten the details of the mission..i spose its cause its been going for so long. I'll re check the page lol

IC:"Understood" K'rak states. He picks up the mines. {Seems that they failed to fix the cyborg's sight. Humans..i often wonder why it is that i'm helping them}
K'rak walks out of the forest and towards the place where he is supposed to place the mines.

IC: K'rak turns his head slightly in Peper's direction. "Good idea cyborg" he says bluntly. He scatters a few of the mines along the escape route. "That should stop them if they try to escape at all" he states. "Now,about the snipers, are there any left from the earlier attack,or can we go ahead and destroy the goliath?" K'rak asks.

OOC: I picture K'rak as being a sort of cold, emotionless being. The only times i really envision him showing emotion is when trying to protect comrades,or sometimes when in a conversation lol

OOC: So we gotta take out turrets? hmm....
IC: K'rak picks up the mines. "So i set them on this path so that there is no escape?" He questions as he puts a mine on the ground.

OOC: I'm excusing myself for this necessary double-posting.
I see that Holyfirex are busy and only active on weekends. We can't survive with this kind of stopping. We gotta do something like make his character get shot in his leg, so we left him behind, and after the mission we pick him up.
IC: After a series of walking, Peper finally almost get out from the thick forest.

OOC: Ow..... Sorry but now I'm back online and ready to dish some hell out. By the way i will resign after this mission, due to time limits. But when my school holidays start ( will inform ahead of time) I will join back like err part-time job sort-of. What do you guys think?
And now, Holidays for me starts at 29th Jan( Chinese New Year ) and ends 9-days later. Will be quite active. :D

IC: Jay was just behind Peper. He shouted out:

" Hold up Peper, this freaking armor is slowing me down...."

* Catches up with Peper *

" Giv...v....e m....e..... a.....s....ec.... " Jay pants.

"O..u...t..t of bre..a..a...th..."

OOC: LoL

As you walk up the hill towards the turrets, the visibilty of your surroundings gets better, not only because the forest is a lot less dense here, but also because some light source up on the hill is illuminating the forest and the ferns. After another small slope, you can for the first time see the area around the turrets.
The light sources are two giant spotlights that sweep their light spots over the forest border. They are placed at the leftmost and rightmost point of the cliff area that is protected by several large concrete blocks that serve as barricades, behind them several groups of soldiers patrolling up and down, looking for any sign of movements in the woods. There are also some of the strange reptiloids you saw before, standing as one large cluster at one of the turret bases.
The turrets themselves take up most of the space left at the cliff top, each one seemingly desinged to look different from all others. At the northwestern side, towards the open hills where the army was waiting, stood two well-known constructions: A minigun turret, currently not manned, and an Link turret, which is controlled by a computer. Then there follows a SAM-Launcher with three rockets mounted and several more beneath them. You can also spot a smaller turret with one single muzzle of a huge bore, indicating that this is an artillery. The rightmost two are another anti-air-turret, but this time a double-barreled machine gun, and a man-sized capsule-shaped object. The latter is not unknown during the sector: SMS-370 Sentry cannons, computer-guided plasma guns with a high fire rate, good missile speed and high damage. When not engaged, they hide inside a shell that protects them from the environment.
Just as you watch, a group of soldiers and reptiloids leaves through one of the entrances and heads off into the forest. They are not directly moving towards you position, but seem to be on guard for everything unusual.

IC: K'rak observes the patrol. He sits down for a brief moment, in deep thought. He then stands up. He takes a deep breath. "It would be extremely difficult to get in there without being seen, especially if we travel in a group. I estimate we would last mere minutes. That is why i propose that one of us distracts them and draws their attention so that the others can take out the turrets and any guards that oppose them. Personally,i'd enjoy taking out the turrets myself, but logic dictates that i should be the one to distract the guards, since i am the fastest and probably the most agile. Are there any objections?" K'rak asks.

IC: "That maybe not the most clever tactic, but i'm in. The problem is my sniper rifle is unscoped and most of the turrets aren't manned. So break the circuit or sabotage will be our way to disable it."
Peper said while examining the patrol route.
"But in my opinion, two distractor wouldn't be a problem. That way no enemies will realize Jay are disabling their turrets"

IC: K'rak considers the idea. "Yes,two distractions would reduce the chance that the enemy would notice jay. Excellent idea cyborg" K'rak says. "What is your opinion on the matter?" K'rak asks jay.

IC: "Hmm?" K'rak takes more observation of Peper. "Ah..i see. I apologize for mistakenly calling you a cyborg all this time" K'rak apologizes. {I must make sure i take notice of people more thoroughly in future}.
"Now, the patrol nearest could be troublesome. They could possibly discover us, and alert the rest of their comrades, which could ruin the whole plan if they know where we all are how many of us there are. That is one of our few advantages. We can see most of their layout and numbers, but they do not know who we are, what we are,how armed we are, or how many of us there are. Using my speed,i am confident that i could run past them, alerting them to my presence, continue to run towards the turret base, and possibly get most of the reptiloids to pursue me. The guards and manned turrets, however, i would have difficulty drawing their attention and convincing them to leave their posts. I propose that you, biomech, take care of most of them, or as many as you can. If all goes well, the big guy," K'rak explains while gesturing towards Jay, "should be able to put the turrets out of action with little or no trouble at all. Any objections from either of you?" K'rak asks.

OOC: XD i feel just like a war general haha. Just what are the reptiloids armed with?

IC: K'rak smiles slightly. "Oh i'll let them keep up with me. Once i've drawn them out far enough,i'll see what i can do about reducing their numbers a little" he says.

IC: "Oh, that should do the trick. Now into the problem, can this big guy...." Peper pointed to Jay ".... sneak in alone? If he get spotted, we'll maybe get ignored and they will focused on him"
"So, first don't kill anyone. You understand Jay? We'll do the thing, just don't get their attention." Peper lifts up his assault rifle.

OOC: Why tears of joy? lol
IC: K'rak nods. "And so it begins" he says quietly. K'rak climbs up into a tree and looks for the patrol. Fortunately they do not look too far away. Using his superior jumping ability, K'rak leaps high into the air and lands only metres away from the patrol. "Damn i've been spotted" he says sarcastically, and breaks into a run directly toward the turret base.

OOC: This developing of an creative and even for the GM unthought of tactic is exactly what I wanted and what makes this RPG so great. And therefore tears of joy.
IC: K'rak is almost immediately spotted, followed and shot at, but not yet hit. He feels his exhaustion again and slows down a bit, which is good since now the soldiers can keep up with his pace.
Peper, however, is not as effective as he hoped. His assault rifle fires and hits, injuring many soldiers, but they rather hide behind the barricades than being attracted to him. Probably they have not seem him yet.
Hint: Distraction is not as easy with a silenced rifle.

OOC: Remember the briefing. What said James about the Assault rifles?
IC: Now with that open provokation, the guards start shooting. Rapidly, Peper sees all kinds of missiles and bullets propelling towards him. Even some turrets (Minigun Turret, Link Tower and the Sentry) turn towards him and shoot. Most noticeable are the green blobs two of the soldiers are shooting. Instead of aiming directly at Peper, they cover the ground around him with their slime. Since you know the Bio Rifle, you know that stepping on the slimy areas will be deadly since this is a very strong acid.
Through the corner of an eye, you can see Jay running towards one of the entrances, trying to stay in the dark, away from the light cones of the searchlights, which are now focusing on Peper.
