I think they are showing that today's society is far from freedom, I have watched all 3 movies. This will not likely work to redesign a world. The videos and informations about TZM are spread around the world which is a advantage, we got 6 billion people that's very much. There are billions people starving and they don't know about this. The 1% of humans control 40% of resources. This idea willl likely be a utopia unless the youtube videos have more views than Justin Bieber- Baby. Even if it had more views than Justin Bieber, it would be more practical in future. This may be possible in future.

I do not vote for technocity and futuristic, but that's better than filthy fabrics and unhealthy modern towns. The future may not be like zeitgeist but a tendency like zeitgeist. But on the other side there are 6 billions of people with each different minds.

The (American) government is corrupt, lies and does shady things constantly, but we can get through our daily lives fairly easy.
I'd say we have plenty freedom.

Also, I've seen one Zeitgeist film and it was all mostly about 9/11 conspiracy theories, which wasn't all that interesting. I've also heard a lot of their facts were off.

Isn't your government paying privately owned companies for your security? What about the part where they're giving the heads of these companies the right to shoot whoever the hell they want without consequence if/when martial law comes into effect? There is only one state in America that hasn't been overtaken by this 'security system', and that's mainly because of the massive amount of paranoid, gun-toting maniacs there.

By privately owned companies, I assume you mean PMCs?

I'm surprised at how many mercenaries (or as they call themselves "contractors") the US government has, but I don't believe that it's some kind of conspiracy so that the US can declare martial law and shit like that.

Problem with the US declaring martial law is that it would have an instantaneous backlash. Soldiers/police would be unwilling to enforce it, and the whole country would collapse into riots very quickly (and mind you, think of how many Americans possess firearms). We've been a free country for too long for a dictatorship to suddenly take over.

Regarding the Zeitgeist movement, the whole resource based economy sounds like a neat idea but it also sounds very implausible. I watched the Zeitgeist movie, and it was primarily claiming that everything from both World Wars to WTC was a massive grand plot orchestrated to manipulate people into following the government so that they could implement mind control chips into everyone. Maybe if they actually spoke more about how their ideas for improving the world and economy rather than absurdities of how the entire 20th century was orchestrated by the Illuminati to create the New World Order more people would listen.

Humanity is too greedy and self-centered to have the real equality. I mean of course you can make goverment that will control everything, but what's the chance they won't start abusing their powers ("Like Hive mods?" "Who said that?!")? We can't give make machines do all the job because they can just get bugged or someone might find their weakness.
So face it people, complete equality to all people and better tommorow are just an illusion.

Suffering is society.

I smell epic flame wars coming. The world is indeed corrupt and there is no doubt about it. I honestly find the things talked about in Zeitgeist freakishly true. They were explained in a very convincing manner, and upon conducting my own research, I found that the majority of the subjects have at least a shred of truth, if they are not 100% true.

That's what rhetoric is all about,
making you believe that 'nukes are healthy' or that 'the U.S Government are actually aliens with highly advanced, surgically enhanced skin'.

If you can't force people to drop all sense and believe stuff from a random guy on the telly,
without any sources nor any shred of evidence, you have no place in conspiracies.

Talented conspirators are sort of like verbal ninjas, experts in deception and perception.
But then again, so are politicians.

What I mean to say is that most of the world is currently build upon lies and deception. So how can you know what's true and what is not?

You can't. I as well don't doubt that each government keeps its citizens in the dark.
This is basically what I implied when I said that politicians are verbal ninjas likewise, even more so actually than conspirators.

I was merely suggesting that conspiracies are often very shy on evidence,
which really makes it more of a rhetorical 'penis measuring' rather than factual and realistic.

I also wouldn't say the world is 'currently' built upon lies and deceptive means. I'd say that this is how the world has always worked, and will always work for that matter.

So my personal oppinion towards all this would be that of TriggerHappy,
'governments are corrupt, lies and does shady things constantly, but we can get through our daily lives fairly easy'.

You might say I lack the energy to be a revolutionary facing inevitable and overwhelming defeat :3

It depends on the society that Zeitgeist will work. We can't move normally in future like economists, money-makers, exploatators and capitalists. If society has rational people and has not lost sence, zeitgeist has chances to affect people. The zeitgeist missed more bigger problems to tell, that is global warming, ecology, pollution, destroyed species, resource insanity, scarcity. The world is not normal today in our society, people are losing mental health, we don't live in a healthy society. It's because the artificial manmade laws, morale normes are opposite to human nature. Civilizations make mentally damaged people. While people who live primitive don't lack anything.

Humans today are the antagonists of the planet, what helps humans does not help nature. Humans have replaced instincts with safety. Humans are not free in such like society. Civilizations make more problems than anything. While the less civilized or "primitive" have nothing so problematic they live their lives like animals and unlike civilized their physically strong, their mental health is normal, they are more working and curious. Those who have completely rid of civilization are mostly happy. Actually civilization is not same everywhere, there are ethics- morale normes that what's acceptable to other society is not in theirs. The western- american kind of ethics is not healthy and it does not fit to other ethics. Because of manmade laws humans don't live as humans, because they have restricted animal behaviour it means instincts, desire, sex...

Many manmade cultural neglects are stupid like having long nails, being hairful, being naked, censoring genitals, putting 18+ sign for violent and sexual things, censoring porn, restricting porn, censoring mouth while swearing, censoring swearing, critics on clothes, eating with fingers.

I don't listen to these stupid laws, I would let my child watch sex, if some woman on the beach does not have bra, let him be naked when he wants, to make acceptable things, in this way child is mentally normal and acts rational and natural. If you are not natural your not a human, your a animal with a addition of useless cultural data. You don't have to celebrate easter, smoke, make snowman, be a truck driver. That depends on your natural will.
