General Information

During making this campaign for many years, I have met incredible persons. Without them, this project would have died long time ago. With your feedback and help I'm able to finish this project. What we must remember, is that I'm not doing this for myself, I'm doing this for you.

I'm really sorry if you have helped me in any way and I have not added you to the list. Please, tell me immediately and I will add your name to the right place. Thank you.

Special Credits

Kitabatake
Kitabatake is, without a doubt, the most important person to this campaign. He produced several systems, massive amounts of complex triggers, and provided large amounts of models textures, and icons as well. Kitabatake's devotion and contribution towards the campaign is definitely the greatest of all.

Maker
Makes has helped in a long run various ways from creating important systems to helping me to fix very complicates bugs I couldn't handle. The help he has given is enormous and he's for sure one of the most important and supportive persons I have met while doing this campaign. For all the things you have helped me, thank you.

Flecky
This man is a strong long time supporter of the campaign since the beginning of its creation. His influence on the campaign is unquestionable and without him, many things would have gone differently. I could not ask for a better supporter. People like him are essential for big projects like this one. For all the support you've given to me through all these years, I'm really grateful to you.

David
David and I have been in correspondence for a long time now on the subjects of: story, ideas, characters and texts. We have done much work together and had some nice debates. A couple times he took breaks for his studies, he but always came back to give honest input and read the texts I send. In respect to our friendship, he requests that the campaign be completed not too long from now, and I hope to be able to honor that. Thanks, David, and speak to you soon!

So in order to play this campaign people need to have patch 1.23 installed.
I didn't know patch 1.24 messed up with BJ's in GUI. Even a worst than I thought lol...

Yeah, a few of the Gamecache BJ's broke, which is the main basis of campaigns. You will only have to replace a few lines of code to fix it for the newer version. Just anyone with "gamecache" in them. You could easily ask how to fix those to any Jasser.

This campaign is not bad at all! The only thing that bugs me is that the lvl cap is low, so i do only a small part of optional missions and then i'm done leveling..
and the music is very annoying. However, thats just me opinion ^_^

Very nice campaign otherwise, i enjoy the story! Keep up the good work!

Bigger is better?
Btw, I tested chapter 5 in 1.24c and it works (the chapter loads) so I think the whole campaign should work in 1.24c

Okay, I managed to get the campaign work with the newest patch and I can also work with the newest patch. I guess there are no more any limits for me to make this campaign finally to Beta 1.0. In few weeks I will release for only few excellent testers a version where you can test the new abilities/items and other new systems of the campaign. The gameplay of the campaign have to be tested before I can release the actual Beta 1.0 version.

Still, Beta 1.0 will take at least 6 weeks before it's completely done. I cannot promise anything yet because chapter 11 is still very open, no one have yet helped me to make the dialogs of that chapter better. Anyways... Merry Christmas for everyone.

my opinion

Well, man, what can I say... that map's surely a piece of hard work, but... I think it's really too much complicated... I mean if I wanna attack some goddamn target, instead of shortkey'ng "a" I have to go through 3 shortcuts.. know I'm sayin'? Curious that no one in this topic (as far as I've readen it) complaint about it. Man it's highly bothering, I'm ashamed to say.

I think I have a problem. When I saved the game, because I had to go somewhere, then came back and loaded the game, I my HP started to drain, for no reason to my knowledge. Please fix this. D:

Hi, i started playing this campaign about 2 days ago and I'm still in 2nd level :D
I'm trying to find all secrets in the maps. I was truly amazed at this when I started playing it, I don't know much about mapping but I assume a lot of hard work was put into this. It's kinda hard at some points but I like it.
I found 1 bug in first level btw - when fighting that Maraudar Clan's Archmage... When he casts that spell on me which decreases my armor, I get some SERIOUS LAG, I mean - My performance drops to like 1 frame/ 5 sec. It was really annyoing but i managed to defeat him, hope you can fix that :p

Also, just wondering, one of the first level's progress indicators is the item "First Brother" but I have an item called "First Son", I've looked really hard and I can't find "First Brother", are you sure these aren't actually same items and you confused the names :D?
EDIT: Oh, nevermind, I found it :D, took me quite a while to get the idea to look for it from there..

i think the archmage in chapter one is ridiculous when i got him to about 1500 hit points he casted rejuvenation on him self i was like noooooooooooooo he got to about 3700 hp and when i got him back down to about 3000 he casted it again and again going from 3000 to about 10000 just wondering if maybe you could lower the h/s (health per second) of rejuv cause it was the stupidest thing i have ever seen giving a boss an ability to heal him self by that much and when you cant level up to even try and fight back i was doing about 45-55 dmg a hit with my best spell doing about 150 dmg.

Well, the first Mission is just incredible. Would I be correct in assuming that it is one of the maps that you spent the most time making?

When I eventually decided not to bother killing the Archmage and instead continue in the campaign, I finished the level and moved on. I personally found the golem boss rediculously easy, but hey, it should be; its only the first boss.

When I reached the second mission, I was kinda dissapointed from first looks. The terrain left a lot to be desired and was very basic. In the end, I finished the guard's quest and decided to go and see if there was anything interesting on the map. I went south along the East riverbank and found some Mur'locs and a temple. The temple was almost impossible to get into with the ressurecting guards and Fradz's incredible weakness. I slaughtered the Mur'locs, tried around five times to enter the temple then gave up. I simply crossed the bridge and fought the centaurs to win the level. I never bothered going North which was probably a big mistake.

This was the level I had the most problems with. It terrain made it very plain and boring, and I simply didn't feel the urge to explore everywhere like I did in the first mission. Fradz was incredibly weak in every sense. As the Agility hero, he should have kinda low hp, medium damage and fast attack rate. Fradz had the fast attack rate and the low hp, but no real damage to back it up with. Some of his spells were handy, but they didn't do very much to the temple guys. It took five full on Alpha Strikes to kill one of them, only to have him res as I was killing the second.

Level three really picked up from level two. The terrain was far better and Galeoth fitted his role perfectly. His spells were all useful, he was weak without them, but he was still an incredibly strong character when using his spells. There was one problem that I had with this map and it came in the form of a glitch. If you send Galeoth's elemental into the final boss fight of the map, then say 'No, I don't want to fight', it keeps moving on through after the button is clicked and can almost kill (If you keep spamming them through) the spider queen.

Now, the fourth mission was a bit fun. Its terrain really worked well for what it was meant to be and there was a lot to do. There were, however, a couple of problems I had with it.

1. The 'Silver Sword' Quest can not be completed if you buy everything but the silver sword in the 'Silver' set then get the sword to give the man without dumping at least one item into your chests (Which was hard for me as mine were full of loot). In the end, I had the silver set but couldn't finish the quest.
2. The things that begin to eat you when you step on them are a one way ticket to game over. Even if you have 3 or so lives, they just keep eating you away until all your lives are gone. Maybe, after it kills you, it spits you away from it. That way, you can res safely and not have to restart the level.
3. The Epic quest for this level is impossible. I went round killing all the neutral things, then I used a method of 'Iseedeadpeople', Pause, find a grey dot on the minimap, mouse over it, unpause, click mouse, pause, to evade the anti cheat system and find it but it was no-where. The one place I didn't check was in the cave, which I could never enter.
4. How on Earth do you get into the cave? I waited half an hour for the whole day to pass to see if it was time activated, finished every quest I could to see if it was quest activated, killed everything I could to see if it was kill activated, yet nothing openned it. How do you open it?

Mission five was quite fun as well, running around and listening to Fradz get annoyed with people and Phodom get annoyed with Fradz. In the end, I finished every quest I could then finished the level. Not really much to say here. Slightly below the standard of the first mission but still great.

Mission (7?, skipping the cinematic) was really quite mean. The exocutioners were really, really, really, evil. The red room was incredibly hard to beat and I have to say, if this is the only level you need a master key for, its not worth it. Your better off playing through the whole mission to get the XP to be able to kill a few things. Once again in this mission, it was Fradz that let me down. He was great for helping Phodom with Crowd Control but was useless at everything else and just kept dying.

Anyway, thats my review so far and to end it, here is just a recall of the things I thought could be improved:

1. Make the second missions terrain better. More tile Variance, maybe some doodads of ruined buildings, anything to take my eyes of the same, yellowish-white, sand.

2. Up Fradz's damage a bit. He does very little in his current state and does not perform his '1 on 1' role, which is normally where an agility comes into strength due to their ability to deal damage to one unit fast. Fradz was more of a Crowd Control Support for me, which should be Phosoms job (Which he fulfils perfectly). Abilities don't need changing (Just in cas you thought I was suggeting it), just damage.

3. Slightly Nerf the temple guards. Enough said.

4. Fix the boss fight glitch in level 3 (Outlined above)

5. Make the silver sword not add to the silver set until the quest is finished,or at least give some warning. about it.

6. Make the plants that eat you spit you out when you die

7. At least give some hint on how to open the cave...

Thats it. Currently Rating a 4.5 out of 5, due to the time and effort that has gone into this, the enjoyability of most of the missions, the lack of glitches (Mostly) and the interesting storyline.

P.S: If only I knew where the spoiler tags were, then I'd put half this stuff in them so that you didn't have to look at a big wall of text but, sorry, I can't find them :con:

It's balanced in the next version like all the other enemies and bosses(or at least I hope so). I just finished balancing chapter 1 yesterday and now balancing chapter 2.

It was not a big mistake, there was Epic Boss.

You have to kill Elite Boss first.

I still wonder, how do I make Fradz stronger?

Thanks for the review. Here's some reputation points. However I don't like to have ratings from a project which is only in alpha stage. Beta 1.0 is coming soon and then it's acceptable. At the moment I'm remaking chapters so you came good time. I will fix the problems you mentioned and try to improve the campaign.

Good.. but.. few problems.

The murloc boss in chapter 1, allows you to enter att level 5, but its REDICULESLY hard, not only does he use a powerup that increeses his speed by some 100% but hes got HUMONGUS amounts of health, the Ground zero spell did no effect on him, found this map to be convincingly hard, even from the begining.

Struggeling, failing, continueng struggeling and finaly succeding is all about finding the right tactics, and getting rewards, this game has none of either.

This game needs a redefinition in its bosses, limits of your character's and were you can go att what levels, and probably worst of all, eliminate the need for food, i mean, i wanna be able to just stroll around the whole map, kill, level, without having to be reminded about my character's vitality each (7-10?) minutes, wich is really frustration, expecialy on the first mission when you need atleast 250g to feed your family,

Your putting toomany restrictions, too early in the game,

I noticed Legend of the Dragon music in the game, a good game, wanna know why? becouse it starts out easy, and dosent get hard untill the middle of CD2, but this game starts out rediculesly hard even from the begining >.<

Good map and all, but only for the hardcore patient player who has hours, upon hours to spare creeping every mob, doing every boss, and having the map att his feet.

This map was clearly not made for a beginner or novice player, but for the Veterans and Elites.
