Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.

Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

I downloaded the campaign and it's seems to be awesome, but when I start the Prology, my game just goes black screen with a repeating sound of wilderness and a frog which is really annoying. My Vram is 128mb and my Ram is 1gb. Please help!

Also the First chapter thingie works fine, exept that I don't have a character forwhich I need the prology.

Chapter1: Right after the start I go south on the left side of the mountain and will find there a gnolls and a flower. Killing this gnoll kills my game throws me out and shows me an error. I have tried it 3 times and 2 times it happened

What starting pack and items? Did you do anything special? Please share much information as you can about this.

That Ill... something the fire caster wasn't there. I mean his model never showed up he talked in the cinematics but couldn't be seen. I also couldn't see himoutside of cinematics. I normally skip all cut scenes and I did so when he first should have appeared in chapter 7. I think that caused the problem.
I've no idea what you're talking about. Fire caster? Phodom?

For the epic boss in chapter 3 as I suggested to switch this phase up. The boss channels in the middle and somewhere in the arena appears a wisp that is growing over the course of 4 seconds and once it finishes it will buff the boss to do 10% more damage and the next wisp will appear doing the same thing. Now if the hero kills this wisps he should get a stacking buff that increases his damage by 10% for the rest of the fight.

I'll check out this boss.

For the chapter 4 epic boss the problem is just that he can insta kill someone without a chance to do anything against it. Can't you make it so that he can not teleport when he is switching his colors?

For the scaling of abilities. I'm not sure a higher increase would work. But still some spells are just so much better then others. Like the lightning ball who makes Fradz invulnerable and heals him. Such spells should not do any damage at all. For example Fradz turns into this ball and can run around a bit before he turns back where the orb is currently. This movement would be on the ground and not flying. I will return later with more of my thoughts on this matter.

Okay you used the wrong name for the quote but who cares :D

Okay to the crash.

I loaded from a give up selected the the last pack with the luck not sure about its name. My skills are Defensive Roar, Impact Flare, Flame Explosion, Spinning Death, Power Heal and Chaotic Rift. For Combat King I have level 3 Rage and level 1 Berserk (which is odd because its not a part of the starting pack nor did I buy it also it doesn't show up in the combat king menu. I guess that comes from the millions of give ups I have used)

I have tried again and it didn't happen I just found it odd that it had happened two times in a row. Maybe it was just a coincidence as I can't replicate it anymore.

In Chapter 8 you start with Phodom and his gang then when you walk down the street to a cinematic shows up where you meet 3 other dragon slayers and you team up. This team has a fire caster Illrod or so I don't know his name. And he wasn't there. When it was his turn to talk in a cinematic the portray was just black.

Now to the skills when I play the game auto attack is vastly superior to spelldamage even when I tailor my characters to it. Means I always get more dps with Autoattacking then I get with spell casting. This may come from the fact that my money is maxed and I have access to all those items. My main problem is that the cooldown is so long with them. Like Galeoth (sorry I still can't spell his name correctly :( ) I throw 3 spells then wait around 10 seconds mostly just running away. It would be nice if the cooldown would be much shorter and of course making the spell deal less damage and reducing the mana cost accordingly. When/if you implement it please make sure that spell dps is slightly higher then now.

I personally don't like abilities that are only passive especially if they are based on luck like lightning attack. I would like to see a change in it. Make it trigger on each reducing its damage by 1/4 so the overall dps increase stays the same. Then give it an active as well that allows you to move faster or something else.

For the fire/ice masteries they also seem too strong and too boring. Example 1 point in Ice hammer and 3 points in Ice Mastery does as much damage as 4 points in Ice hammer but Ice mastery also increases the damage of other spells making it far superior to skill. I suggest that the damage is only increased by 75 and you add an additional active effect. For Ice mastery something like Galeoth unleashes frozen mist around him slowing movement speed of enemies that pass through.

For Fire I suggest the same damage nerf and an active effect like. The next time Phodom attacks with a melee attack it will leave a patch of burning fire dealing some continuous damage.

Just to be sure you read about the receipt bugs I reported? Aerial/life taker?

Other Bugs:
Cloak of fire doesn't do any damage I tried to drop it and pick it up the effect didn't change I tested it with the ogres.
Combat King Torment doesn't drain mana I tried this with Phodom on the ogre mage.

The deathless have colors and there are always two of them. For example there are 2 red Deathless. You have to kill them without killing another deathless in between. Example of how not to: You kill the red one, then the blue one this will cause the red one to respawn.

Example of how to: You kill a red one, then another red one. Now both of them will stay dead.

sir i play 1.7k version there are colors of deathless there red, yellow, blue and violet i think only this 4 color is appearing there is no pair how can i kill pair of deathless with the same color with this . . . . . please help or may be this is a bug . . .

Hmm. Well I still have to test these bosses so a week I think. I guess I'll skip improving the abilities so that the next version comes sooner. But I can't skip testing boss battles because I already remade them.

Basically everytime after the map finished loading and the actual game is starting I've gotta wait another freaking long time until I can play. I play in windowed mode mostly, and while loading my screen tells me "no response". Well that's a lie because after some annoying waiting time it just works fine ... well well ... now guess how fun it is when I die and reload the game? :D

Starting to think this might be my laptop. I can't even play other games worriless as my processor goes nuts and heats up like crazy! 4 GB? Hahahahaha ... apparently not.

I just killed them yesterday and there is no bug about them (besides the fact you can farm gold and exp on them).

It's really laggy for me too. Every map is just freaking huge and there is a lot the computer is doing the same time, it's not wondering me anymore if it's lagging even with 4GB RAM ... :D



Okay Aero I guess I'll help you a lil bit with finding bugs and such as I had to deal with some during playing already.
- The bug I'm currently at is at chapter 7, the Aerial Armor doesn't do what it's supposed to do. "Click to make the hero invulnerable for 5 seconds". It's not working, the item is not clickable.
- This has been said anywhere and anytime already I guess but just to be sure - are there really only 9 digging spots in chapter 5 or are there - as told in the multiboard - 10? I searched my ass off finding the tenth spot!
- In chapter 5, I got all items together for the Animal Set but they don't combine and become Animal Set
- The Give Up Button has a mistake in the tooltip I guess. It says you start over the game with your gold, luck, honor points and boss points. What the heck are boss points? Or did I just not find them yet? Chapter 7 currently here...
- The quest "a secret meeting" in chapter 7 is about finding 4 guys, well I found 3 but I can't seem to find the fourth ... it is said he is somewhere in "Green Garden", however there is no place in the map called like that! Where the heck is the fourth guy named "Callum" (and what does Vitun mulkku mean? Sounds finnish to me :D)
- The Esper Anthanex has no attack, just abilities.
- Got all items for the "Life Stealer", bought the recipe, now I got the recipe as an item in my inventory and no "Life Stealer" at all... according to the Recipe I need Golden Claw, Vampire Fangs, Falchion, Amethyst and Zozi. SOLVED: Other sources told me I don't need Zozi but Ring of Agility.
- In Chapter 3: The Multiboard says in the Chapter Statistics that one of the Items gainable is Path of Speed, however in this chapter it is Path of Magic. In addition to this, it says "1/1 Spiden Queen's Claw", however I didn't kill that boss yet
- The Dragon Buster Recipe doesn't work. It says I need Doom Sword, Amethyst, Zozi and Teitron. (I'm in chapter 6 right now)
- In Chapter 6, the forgotten ones quest: When I put all Items for the staff together I get the staff and an infinit-usable Potion of Mana! I just cheated my mana to the characters' limit and still got the Potion of Mana :D

sir of all i really like this game that's why i'm asking too many question, co'z i want to complete this this without living anything but the when i'm starting to synthesize the item its not working and i don't know what is the problem i follow everything what is written in the recipe but its not working these are the list

aero - need aerial shoes, aerial armor, aerial sword, diamond, zozi . . . failed

I'm playing on chapter 1... so far everything is perfect. First elite and epic bosses are weak, i'm playing on normal difficulty, and i noticed they gain new abilities and get overall stronger on higher difficulties, once i beat or give up ill restart on 1 below hardcore. 1st elite boss good way to gain POWER HAMMER charges, i got up to 250 or so in there. But got boss hp down to 40% or so before i realized this can be exploited, especially since boss just runs around me summoning fishern minions who die in 1 hit.
Chapter 2. The tomb of Noc'torial can be exploited the same way... the time it used to get me 300 sword of haste charges also brought me a hefty gold supply (Noc'torial spirits give 4-8 gold upon kill, i could farm for hours till i get 50000 gold. (activate 4 obelisks then deactivate and repeat for infinite xp, gold, and charges, the rest of the chapter will be childs play. Needs fix?

Mulkku means Dick. Just like Mielipuoli means Madman in English.

It's a bug that will be fixed.


And yes there's currently one big bug that is you're able to get infinite amount of gold. This will be fixed in the next version which I'm at the moment working on. I had a little pause of the campaign. I have been playing a lot new sins of solar expansion and new civilization 5 expansion. But now I had enough of them and I'm back making the campaign.

Chapter 3, Says Path of Haste 0/1, whereas it should be Path of Magic 1/1 and i got it. No problem other than that.

Only happens during first load?

No omega orb reward on first puzzle completion when u activate all 5 circles to the same color.
Ignore above, killed gollems for xp activating same colours all 5 of them at once, then got the orb for some reason.

Chapter 4, epic and elite bosses don't show up as done on score board. Strange stump and poison knife appeared as 1/1 on the start of the chapter.
Chapter 4, Night&Day sword score board shows 0/1 even though i acquired it.

I made it to chapter 7 again. The auction hall isn't working properly - the items I've won are in the auction hall master's inventory and won't come out!
And after the Auction Hall Master's inventory is full all the items will be spawned on my hero :D

The recipe for Elemental Sword also doesn't work.

Yea Auction is bad place... Best luck if takes you Holgro and Damned Carapace fast, and then Ragnarok and Lighting Set.I always save before start it :) Aero recipe also do not work which is really bad :(

There is a workaround to the bug in the Auction house just make sure that the you have free inventory slots with the char in the auction.

Okay, couple of other things:

- When I bring the Client 003 item back to that guy it says I got the Jade Cloak as a reward, but I actually got a belf of rejuvinate.

I'm just working on the new version and it will be great! A lot of improvements all around the campaign! I just added a new cinematic telling the background story of chapter 1's puzzle. Also I added two completely new background songs to chapter 1.

Some items are endless some not.

Man, i'm stuck at chapter 5 :/

Yes I figured that already. I guess the item list on the TCO homepage is a damn liar then because it listed many more endless items than I got :p

- Two of my heroes died at the same time in a fight with the boss in the Mystery Portal quest (chapter 7). The result was a gamecrashing fatal error
- The fight with the Elite Boss Nyrxz is soooooooo incredible laggy, I defeated him after the fifth retrial
- When I used the ability of my Soldier's Set 3 it just disappeared

Not really; some items supposed to be unlimited are actually not so, due to the optimiser messing with triggers and all that sort of stuff.

I heard new version is coming out soon.. any idea when exactly? Not sure if I should start playing this version or wait for a new one and then start.. :)

Hmm. Yes indeed I've had some problems but I'm now working on it very determined. Now adding spells then I go to test new improved elite and epic boss fights. I can't say yet when but after testing I can say. Later today I'll come here to say estimated time. It all depends of how much bugs I'll have to fix and how well the new improved systems work. Here's the change log that is not yet completed.

  • Added hints to the campaign.
  • Added auto-save function.

Daaaaaaaaaaamnit all boss fights in chapter 7 are hella laggy. I either lose on dying or my game crashes! Can you do anything against that Aero? I really don't know how I'm supposed to beat those bosses like that...

By the way, apparently no esper can actually attack normally.

i got a problem here... whenever i start the game the character never shows up even in the cinematics... i cant see him, i cant control him, therefore i cant continue nor do anything in the game. please help.

Hey dude, I tried out the game. It's pretty awesome.. currently I'm on chapter 7 (second time.. ye I play too much :p). I found out that you can put items with aura like Galeoth's General's Badge in box and if you place boxes near you, your champions are still under effect of item's aura. Not sure if you wanted it to be that way..

Oh and.. every time I play mini-game at chapter 7 at NPC named Mark (the one where you have to keep percentage between 0 and 100%).. I win at the game but then I get the message that I'm cheating so I can reduce difficulty, load or restart the game.. the hell? >>
