Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.
Added proper descriptions to the difficulties.




Removed some test items from chapter 1 beginning.




Chapter 6 is now opened.
Now Item Sets have own unique icons.
Honor Shop Disabled. "Ability Bonus" system will be added later to the campaign that replaces Honor Shop Items.
Remade Esper System.
Remade Summon System.
Remade some of the spell book spells.
Chapter item descriptions to easier to read.
Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Galeoth model is now changed. Thanks Fan for starting the model and making most of it and Kitabatake for finishing it.

Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.

I have a problem on chapter 4. I completed the thief and stone quest and atm I'm on the elite quest. The problem is that I can't dig.
If I want to dig It keep saying that "I can't do this right now".
Is anyone familiar with this problem?

edit: I also have some problems with the elite quest. I can't find any wisps anymore :(
I also didn't click on them (I didn't know you have to click on them). I think I broke it somehow.

I am pretty sure u know already that Dragon Buster is bugged and you can't craft it. If so please remove this item from the game till it's fixed.
It's really frustrated if u don't know it and want to craft it :/

edit: Same goes for "Life Stealer" -_-

First of all, I would like to compliment you, Aero, for creating such a massive, outstandingly great Campaign and putting so much effort into it.
But... I've also got a Bug to report, I think.
In Chapter 6 after dying to a Miniboss and reloading the last savegame (just prior to that fight) all of the custom Animations for spells stopped working. This is in fact very bothersome, since I don't see projectiles cast by some Bosses and therefore can't evade them. I simply receive damage.
Similar thing with some of my own spells Phdoms Ground Zero shows the "crater" and the flaming soil but the explosion and the sound have disappear.

I'm really clueless as to what might've caused this, since I simply loaded a savegame.
Ah and btw. I tried older saves (same chapter) and everythings fine there.

the only way to fix this is to reload a previous save. it happen quite often.

what to do with this crate of wonder at ch5? at game menu it have a "crate of wonder 0/1" on it but whatever i do to that crate wont do any good.

fradz steal chance is pisspoor even with the +100% scope can improve it? cant steal from practically anyone (voldro, madeila, boar chieftain, murloc, etc *rage*).
how is the stealing system work anyway? I thought its "Your steal chance - boss steal resistance", but seems the boss get more resistance the more steal chance increased
example: Fradz with thief set and skeletal hood, +60% and 30% each. Trying to steal from siluze. Keep failing. Drop the thief set, try steal. Result is 'stealing failed' so at least 1% chance with hood only. so with both thief set and hood should take no more than two try to steal the item, yet after ten minutes trying no avail...

Aero Whats happened?
The file have the extesion W3N ??????? I cant play it ! my war3 didnt find the map!
So i tryed to change the extesion to W3X , thus my war3 start to find the file, but with the name: the choosen one 1.7 not the 1.8, and i cant start the game, if i clicked start the war3 go to the same screen to chose the maps !
Whats happened? May someone can help me with that problem ?

(All of this is on ch1)I don't know if this is old or new, wasn't here for quite some time, but that cinematic in ch1 after completing the puzzle, the evil-ish music won't stop after the cinematic ends. I had to go for another cinematic just for that to stop :p Edit:It appears pretty everywhere where music changes. It must be because of that new music that plays "at" Phodom is sound effect and not music.

Again not sure if old or new, anyway that cooldown on abillities is great, but when it gets to 30, it jumps to 19, countdown continues to 10, then again jumps to 19 and then resumes the countdown to zero with no interruption.

When I dig at the bottom right corner, It tells me I digged up glypth of ability. I only gained 1 honor instead.

"books" tooltips are completely messed up at the shop, and when I want to read the books themselves, they have totally different content than the name of it, also I have some green books (Which If I get it means I own it), but then it says I don't own it.

Also, which I know is not really new, Nathalie is being mashed by the water wheel after the fishtern quest completition. I remember she used to get teleported next to the house. Maybe it's only at me?

fradz invisible strike can be abused. If you stop him after *start attack* and before *damage point* (you dont hit the target) the damage bonus is applied but he stay invisible.

i load up the campaign from give up in the Prologue it give me my money and honor point and lives correctly , now after i chose every thing and start chapter 1 the gold is there but i lost all my Honor Points and my Lives :vw_wtf::goblin_jawdrop:
about the potions when i pick potion or buy it it give me that i cant have more than 10 ?! and in the potion screen it show that i have 9 , and i think 10 is very few anyway for fighting with elite or epic bosses if u can increase it to 50

Exactly. I don't want any bonus damage abuseable invisible strike. I want mobility :( I always selected invis strike cause it's cool and Fradz is so fast with it. Return the old one please T_T...

The amount of... errors... is just overwhelming :D

In ch2, in shop near the bridge, there's book called "THIS CAMPAIGN WILL ALSO BE CREATED BY AEROBLYCTOS, OR?"
And it has description of one of the flowers. "A common flower usually found from caves"

Tell me, do you have an testing team or are you testing all of this by yourself? :p

So i'm new to this rpg campaign thing, enjoying it so far, beautiful piece of work that's come so far I'm quite surprised I've never come across it!

Just one question about the chapter 2 epic boss.
That damage return aura pretty much decimates me, is anyone else having trouble with it? If there's some way around it I'm not seeing then fair enough but so far I just manage to kill myself repeatedly, and the load times drive me nuts.

Regardless, enjoyed the rpg so far.

Passive spell Icy barrage for Galeoth seems to not increase the attack range. (sorry for this amount of posts, I'm posting while playing :D)
ch2 noc'toriah's attack lighting balls seems bugged. Sometimes, they are right on me and don't do anything. Sometimes they even aren't there and I get killed.

Have you got the illusion passive? This has been frustrating me also, I'm not sure if it's hitting the illusions and dealing Fradz damage or they're just random bursts.

The whole boss in general is just frustrating, you should really remove your 'f' commands from spell related silence.

Also, for answering the third question correctly in the riddles, you don't get any honour points.

the book system need rework. Some stuff is in red even when I own the book. But its a very good addition, i really want to know histories since the first time i play this campaign :D

I found a few bugs. I don't know if i've done anything wrong while playing the game but i don't think so. (I was on easy difficulty)
1. In chapter 2 Fradz's thunder ability sometimes doesn't do any damage.
2. In the same chapter Fradz's invizible strike executed from behind sometimes damages him to (i got killed in that way twice)
3. In chapter 4 when i battle with that "thing" it sometimes places itself in the ground and turn invulnerable and stays like that doing nothing for 5 minutes (at least that's the time i waited for it)
4. This is the worst one. In chapter 5 Fradz lost all his abilities. He was level 20. I played with him until he got level 22 and he got just an ability point. So here I was with a level 22 Fradz and just one level 1 ability.

This is just an observation. Maybe i didn't choose the most powerful abilities for him but Phodom seems weak (in terms of spells) compared to the other 2 heroes.
In chapter 2 with Fradz: an invizible strike from behind, then a thunder and a monster of my level was dead.
In chapter 3 with Galeoth: and ice nova from distance then a falling hammer when he was close and the monster was dead.
In chapter 1(or 4 because i didn't play further, see bug nr.4) with Phodom: ground zero from the distance, an ability with the "impact" word in it on a monster the same level and i still had to whack it about 4-5 times to kill it.
Maybe it's my choice of items but still...

Yes, I have illusions, and I wanted to post the same thing about the whole boss. That spell lock and attack lock is just retarded. I have flash strike, teleport strike, invis strike and scissor stab. 3 of these abillities require basic attack. So when I get attack lock, I can't do anything to him, because when I do any of these, no damage is done as it requires Fradz to attack. When I get magic lock, I can again just hit him with basic attacks. Not a big deal, it was pretty easy in earlier versions, but he keeps doing the locks. Just, there is no time beetween them. I think that whole basic attack lock should'nt be there. Keep magic lock.

That never happened to me. The only possible explanation is that it's not from behind (can be from any direction), and you attacked the beach crabs. They return damage done to them.

Both magic and attack should be there it would be nice if some of those skills did magic damage as well though. I've got myself a bunch of attack based skills as well so I share the same problem. I managed to take the boss down after hours of work on hard, it just took a while to get a strategy sorted.

Basically, having spell lock disable your ability to use anything under 'F' seems stupid. I'm fine with it switching between mechanics, that keeps thing interesting. The 3k heals on the boss don't help much.


As for the damage return, it's fucking annoying. I literally had to kill the 'interval' of the epic boss fight by hitting it once with scissor stab, healing, doing it again and regenerating during the thunderball stage which is frankly quite stupid as standing in a corner avoids them all, whereas if you did have to dodge them, it's unlikely you'd dodge them all and one hit kills you. I'm guessing the extra 1k from the Epic boss steal was the only reason I managed to kill the Elite boss though.

Really though, 100% damage return? That means using any of my multi hit skills will kill me, as damage in this rpg so far has been often above the general health of the current hero.

about the potions when i pick potion or buy it it give me that i cant have more than 10 ?! and in the potion screen it show that i have 9 , and i think 10 is very few anyway for fighting with elite or epic bosses if u can increase it to 50

I added the books at the last day so one one actually tested the books so that's why things are like that. I simply forgot to change the descriptions. Will be fixed!

The whole boss in general is just frustrating, you should really remove your 'f' commands from spell related silence..

What do you mean F? You want that I change hotkey of the Command Panel? And to what letter?

1. In chapter 2 Fradz's thunder ability sometimes doesn't do any damage.
Are you sure about this? I didn't see any bug there.

whats the point of add limit to potions ,that make me go to the town to buy potion after fighting elite or epic boss especial for new players . any way i think 20 will be OK if u agree
and what about the load from give up bug that case me to lose my honor and live point PLLZ fix it
