Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.

Hey Aero, love your campaign, been playing it for some years now and finally decided to register in order to thank you for it.

A couple of things:

-Chapter 8: I just cant seem to do the Tazefda wisp part. I managed to click all of them like 20 times, but he still wont teleport to the top of the map for the next part.

-Chapter 9: After Enthan finishes his Phoenix Combo, both he and Phodom remain hovering in the air, invulnerable.

Also, in my opinion, Yurgimar needs his regeneration lowered. On hard difficulty, even though my chars had full legendary/myth items and lvl 5 combat kings, he wasnt killable. I easily mowed through the elite boss, but rarely have I been able to get Yurgis health below 75% and ,even when I did, he just regenerated it all during the phase 2 circles.

Cheers, cant wait for chapter 10!

Wait time too long? Solution!

I played TCO and i have always hated the wait time for the loading screen.
Later i found that when you load a game and right before you load just "alt-tab" to you desktop and browse the internet while it loads (if you don't right away, you're stuck on loading screen until it finishes).
Not a big trick but i didn't know at first and just spend my time looking at the loading screen, but now i don't even care about load time!
so Aero don't worry about reducing load time :thumbs_up:

Jewel of health and Andenaj 1 dont seem to be working, as I dont get any bonus hp from them when I level up. Andenaj 2 and 3 work just fine, though.

That's exactly what I'm doing and that is why for me I don't see the loading screen so big problem.

Wtf it takes literally 3 hours for me to download 5 mins has passed and it didnt downloaded a bit at all whatever too much to download :( Also i heard you had some anti-cheat system. I think you should delete it. Some guys such as me wants to learn the story but they cant make it trough so they use cheats and BOOM insta-defeat. That sucks :(

There's a difficulty where you can cheat as much as you want and then learn the story as much as you want.

About the download time; 130 mb is not that much after all. You should be able to download that in one hour even with the lowest internet speed.

Aeroblyctos this campaign is so awesome, it is like a new whole game, i have like 30hrs put on this campaign and only had 2 give-ups to try harder difficulties, for sure i can say that my favorite chapter is chapter 6, i really love the soundtrack and the map style on that one. On my playthroughs i have come along some bugs, but i don't take them too seriously.
I haven't play it since 1.9l so now it is time to start this epic campaign again and have a good time.

it could be because i changed the game option as fast gameplay. However, i couldnt change it back to normal or slow game mode.

But you shouldn't be able to change the speed... How did you do it? It should be locked.

yes i changed the game speed a few times. It did work out, but only a few times. I did bring the alchemist the rights flowers but he always say wrong component

when i was at tedroom castle. I changed game speed as fast cause the map is too big. In chapter 8 when i met the troll with the wisp. I also changed a few times so that i could click all the wisps. But when the troll appeared on the top of the map and i loaded the game. i cant change the game speed back to normal.
I cant buy the lucky clover with the alchemist.
And one more thing. I played easy mode but the epic boss yugimar is some kind of immortal. Everytime he fly out and in, he always got full hp generation. My heroes also got enough items to be called immortal and the fight seems to be forever..... Do i need any tricks to defeat him? Anh after i defeated 2 espers, even yugimar had kind of full hp, there was also a cinematic and teleport me to another dimension to fight with him. I think this case could be a bug also

I'm kind of lazy when updating changelogs. There are so many changes usually and I forgot to write them down.

Here's something(the last versions basically has been just fixing fugs):


Version 1.9m to 1.9n
- Gilmax now gives 5 Magic Damage per charge
- Greater Magic Balls gives 300
- Greatest Magic Ball added
- Now gold and experience item bonuses are shared

Version 1.9m to 1.9n
- Espers gain take a lot more punishment than before
- Doubled Fransica chance to gain stats

Hello everyone, it's finally time to release next version. As usually, this major version will contain a new chapter, but also many improvements and changes to the gameplay. I've once again went to a next level and improved many systems and made many great changes. I've been doing this new major version half a year so it definitely does have many great changes.
Beta 1.8h to Beta 1.9

CHANGES:
  • Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
  • Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
  • Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
  • Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
  • Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
  • Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
  • Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
  • Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
  • Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
  • Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
  • Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
  • Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
  • Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
  • Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
  • Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
  • From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
  • Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?
  • Fixed hundreds of major and minor bugs.

FUTURE:
  • Next what I am gonna do is some interludes between the chapters.
  • After that is done I continue the campaign and finish chapter 10. I almost finished the terrain of the chapter already.
  • Version 1.0 version will include epilogue and then my job is done. I may come here time to time to fix some bugs.
  • The story definitely doesn't end here as I've been designing and writing book a long time already. You'll see the story continue in the future. This is just the beginning.

Beta 1.5d to Beta 1.6

CHANGES:
  • Chapter 7 is now opened.
  • Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
  • Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
  • There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
  • Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
  • Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
  • Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
  • Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
  • All professionals are now universal.
  • The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
  • Once again, more items.
  • New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
  • The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
  • New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
  • Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
  • Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
  • The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
  • Fixed some bugs.

Ok thanks.But i kinda noticed some bugs here.Im really confused.Firstly i completed the sword quest on chapter 4 for the merchant.I got the rewards(2 combat kings).I put them in Phodoms Second Box but after a while(i defeated the elite and epic bosses) they dissapeared.I didnt notice on the elite boss but after summoning the boxes so i can take the item that the epic boss dropped i noticed a combat king a little farther away.I took the combat king-parry and used it(didnt show in my combat king list).Also the 2 combat kings dissapeared from my second box(1 of them was also parry and the other retaliation).I kinda ignored that and it was a little bug i said.Nothing special.But anyway after going to the 7th room of the cave and digging the dig spot,i found a lesser magic orb.When i tried to pick it up with the second box it dissapeared.I didnt let that ruin my mood.After that i got 3 strange stones and went for the blue one.But before going for it i said i would go get retaliation from the shop.Bought 5 of them and used them.Not even one showed in the combat king list.Not sure if they just dont work or they dont show on the list.Please fix this fast.

EDIT:
Also,whats with the Espers?When i use them it appears for a sec and then dissapears.I would have finished the game till now if i could use them.

Strange bug. I don't even know where to start search such a bug.

Does this happen everytime? When you pick a magic orb it simply disappears?

The combat kings usually work but not in chapter 4.The magic orb too.I used the give up option after getting to level 7 and i will tell you if it happens again.

I kinda also found another bug.In chapter 7(not sure at the start or at some point) Phodom loses his ultimate ability(i think it was after the battle inside of himself with Gaomdo(or whatever hes called).Also his ultimate returns at some point in the 8th chapter but not taken as a skill.I dont even have level 1 of it.And when Enthan uses the same ability one me,we both get stuck as invulnerable in the air.And instead of ulti i hate turn into crow ability.It doesnt do anything when i click on it and im stuck.

So in chapter 7(city) Phodom loses what ultimate ability? Or in chatper 8(winter chapter)?

Btw, do you lose now your spell book spelsl after fightning Gaomda?

Sorry about that,means chapter 8(winter chapter).Also i dont know about the spell book.I didnt use it much in chapter 8.But i still have Phodoms spell book abilities and Faerga in chapter 9(when you only control Phodom).Also what happened to the espers.Will they be fixed in the next version?It makes things kinda harder.I could have played in Normal instead of Easy if i had the Espers.

So you lose Phodom's ultimate ability at chapter 8? Okay I will check it out.

Espers are definitely stronger in the next version. Now it's really enjoying playing with them against the last bosses. For example Nyrxz has 60k health, 10k basic attack damage and the spells now do a lot more damage. Espers will be useful once again! I've been using Espers a lot when testing Chapter 10 Elite Boss.

Its not really about the strength of the espers.Just the thing that i cant use them.If i could use them even in their current strength i can defeat epic bosses easier.

Yo found a bug in chapter 9 during the first fight where Enthan knocks me up into the air and we both become invulnerable forever.. And also Espers are pretty bugged cause they disappear after 2 seconds I summon them :/

Thats what i said before.You get stuck with enthan in the air and both of you are invulnerable and you have Storm Crow ability(which is useless and cant do anything even if you click on it).Also with the espers.If i could use them the game would be much easier.

I'm not sure if this was reported already but here are several bugs I have noticed.

Phodom's elemental summon wasn't avaliable to be picked after ability selection.

Fradz speed boost spell doesn't seem to do anything.

I doubt Jewel of Health or Andajnai 1 actually improves maximum hp after I level with it. Not sure about higher levels.
