SP = single player.

I play on Europe, east and west (all ladder).
Best gear I have is on europe (which is rather crappy) and can kind of do hell.

NearbyHermit, I can assure you that you will never be an admin (or the chances of you being one is near the same as a meteor killing us every second). You might become a moderator for the diablo section but only time can tell.

The builds I tend to go are single elemental socs or summon necros.

I know some good builds for them with lowish gear but for best gear, the builds probably suck.

NearbyHermit, I also see you are using multiple mods, that kind of defeats the whole challenge of diablo II as you have XXL stash and simlar things but I guess you probably end up with more uniques than me (or better ones atleast) lol.

Next ladder season I will try out a javazon, a multi elemental soc (or atleast fire) or maybe a martial assassin.

I feel D2 LOD needs a lot of ballence fixes personally. Hammerdin's hammers need the ignore demon magic reduction removed as the undead ignore is bad enough. Druid's summons need a boost at nightmare and hell difficulty since the bare ends up being pretty weak when compared to a golem mancer's golem or an army of skeltons (let alone revives). The creep's Ironmaiden is also overpowered, as in hell it pretty much means instant death thus it should be reduced to a fixed ammount of damage per hit you do (2*spell level) for creeps or atleast a greatly reduced percentage (human ironmaiden should remain unaffected). The lightning wisp damage in nightmare and hell should also be greatly reduced as 1 extra strong one in A5 hell deals over 2000 lightning damage every second and the minions simlar which is instant death to anyone under 95% resistance (not included in most builds). The explosion of the undead dolls should also be greatly reduced in hell since no build can survive multiple blowing up next to them next to maybe assassins. Finally nitak's corpse explosion should deal 75-90% fire damage instead of the 50% fire damage it currently does to make it more resistable.

Do you agree with these sujestions (descussion topic).

Yeah i agree the Druid summons aren't very good after normal there basically push overs, Well all but the bear.

I think the iron maiden is annoying but its not over powered enough to where you can't get by.

Yeah i do agree the Undead dolls do need to be reduced because they are in groups and it kills you instantly when you're teleporting and all a sudden you come by a group and they all explode.

Anyway DSG,excuse the bad writing,admin election,phoey.

I meant to say moderator, but you know what, you are the challenge for that post.I dont even know if you are even interested in Diablo moderator ,but anyway you still are a challenge.

Iron Maiden is the most powerfull ever.

I forgot some, but they will eventualy pop-up and I will add them, good luck with those HR,keep playing.

I think everyone would agree with iron maiden. The only thing I think should be changed about it though is to greatly decrease the effectiveness on players and mercs but not their pets. I also think you shouldnt get locked up as much when attacking or being attacked.

Yes,it is true. They have Damage upon death and varies per difficulty and per level,so you might end up.The best way to get rid of them is to avoid them or to put your summonings to attack them.

Even powerfull range attacks have a good effect, they wont reach you in time

My brothers resitadin with 1K+ hp and past max fire res and a lot of fire absorb dies easilly to them in hell. When in PvP, the strongest fire or lightning soc reheals it.

They also can transverse the screen in like 10 or less frames due to their speed. The only thing close to their speed I have seen is a frenzy barb with lots of +speed items.

Summon builds like necromancer, druid, and even assassins/ amazons can deal with them easilly due to the extra summons. But for socs the only real way to get them is casting spells infront of you hopping they will kill them before they appear on screen or reach you (ice is especially good at this due to freeze). I do not see how palidans or barbs can kill them at all without an A2 hireling with top range gear, and even still what prevents them from targeting the player.

Ok, still need picture but here is her basic gear and equipment.
Full talrasha's set.
Spirit monarch
Mage fis gloves
and some weak boots that are not very good.
A geed's charm
some minor smaller charms of + life, res and Hit recovery

Max lightning
Max chain lightning
Max lightning mastery
1 warmth
1 static field
1 teleport
max charged bolt
maxing nova (aimed to be maxed)
1 into all prequesets for the above

Comes out with most res near max in hell difficulty and dealing about 3 K average damage per hit with chain and 6.5K for normal. Has about 2 to 3 hundred magic find and is among the higher teirs with FCR. Hireling is a A2 one with might from nightmare. Deals about 2K damage per hit with aura on and weapon is the runeword that adds meditation aura.

The soc stats were enough for a spirit monarch with few + str items. 2/5th of stat points into energy and rest into vitatily.

As you can see its a rather crappy soc build as I do not have enough for enigma, soc torches, ani, SoJs and stuf simlar to that.

NearbyHermit, such a great idea, we all carry 40 Zod runes with us and they drop every few baddies we kill. (scarcasim)

You know how rare a Zod rune is? I have never seen anything beyond a Pul rune be dropped and I have done more runs than most people. So why WASTE a Zod rune on a crappy ethreal unique when I could much rather use it to buy me a good hell fire torch or anni for +stats, skills and resistances or an enigma for MF and + skill. I could also use that Zod rune to make BoD axes which are better than any unique axes in Diablo II for a barb.

That is exactly the reason why no one uses Zod runes on ethreal uniques.

I got bored whith my other characters as I usually do and started another. A werebear druid. I am going for a tank. High dmg, health, armor, atk rating, and damage reduction. Just recently fought Duriel in NM with several other people and I took all the hits. I dont have insane lifesteal or anything but he never got me down more than maybe 80-90% of my health. It is more of a curiosity than anything else :)

QUOTE-I am going for a tank.-QUOTE

There is no such thing as a tank in D2, the closest to one is my brothers restidin palidn build, and that still struggles with some badies in hell.

If he damaged you 90% of your HP, then your doomed in hell.

My WW barb can tank him and it has only 1500 HP (battle crys) and deals like 1500 damage a hit with WW. My brother's paramedicdin can tank him infinatly just by standing there.

The fact is almost all druid bear builds do not do well as bear slows attack speed and hit recovery which is opposit of werewulf. The only bear build that does well is the assassin one with a 2 FPS attack rate which totally minces enemies.

Out of interest, you should say which ladder you are playing on, especially after the reset. Maybe we could do MF runs to get good gear.

I correct you here. The most unkilable units are,one for each chapter:

Yeti,chapter 1
I would say Mummy or Beetle for chapter 2
Zakarum Priest or Thorned Hulks for chapter 3
Venom Lord for chapter 4
And Demon Steed, that armored beast from chapter 5

And the most powerfull of all is the Minnion of Desctruction,a hell one of these is unkilable if resurrected,do you agree?

Dsg I dont think I worded that well. At any one time he was only able to take away 10% of my health before I fully healed. And ya I know werebear builds aren't the greatest but I just like the werebear. I think that was the first thing I tried out when I got the expansion. And Hermit I don't really got any cool pics. But I could take a screeny of my guys stats or something.

Also my realm is US west.

I added 2 pics. One my stats and the other my weap. I had to use griswold armor in order to wield it :D

Oh and my other armor has +50 to all resists. I am just using the gris armor til I get enough str to weild my weapon without it. But so far the low resists have not given me much trouble. I have 30% dmg reduction and some -# damage taken. My biggest problem is when I get cursed with amplified dmg and then recieve fire or whatever dmg. But then again that only takes away maybe half my health which I get back 1-2 hits later.
