well, just make the red color something like 97 and the other 2, 92 92.. Dunno what you prefer though.

I think I'll go with the 100 for now seeing that lowering it a bit does not change much a bit and lowering it further can make it too dark as well.

What is the terrain fog? Green or Purple?

Gray as suggested by SonOfJay. It works well with the terrain and with the new dalaran base tile and cliffs that Forsaken suggested and shared.

I see, however I think you should leave a little shade of violet along with the gray.

Indeed, to be honest and realizing just now, it feels weird with only a gray fog.

Anyway, here are two screenshots showing the hallway that leads into two paths also with the gray fog as suggested by SoJ but I might add some violet fog into it as well to make the atmosphere dark. One is to the Death Knight and one is to somewhere (still deciding what will be here.)

Anyway, I'm just curious. What fog do you find best, this grey fog, the previous Violet or Green?

Sad to say guys but it looks like there would be no updates (or in case if there is, it's a minor one) because I've been so busy on school as of lately and I joined an activity that requires us to memorize three-pages poem (as far as I know, it's a poem).

I hope everyone is doing great there. Will try doing some updates when the flow of events on school gets lighter.

You signature picture, the big robot there, is from Downlink/Excision =D

Well, to be honest, I actually don't know. Just find it a fit for the signature's theme. Thanks for the comment

And to bring up some spice to the thread again. Here are two screenshots showing the Hallway (a long one for me) to the Death Knight. Applied Heinvers' suggestion of fences underneath Archways as well as shown on first image.

A bigger update than the other.

Here are two... no, but four screenshots showing the extension of the hallway posted yesterday (didn't got to finish it yesterday.) and also the extension for the Lich Boss area and an overview of the area. It's an optional area containing a treasure chests (but didn't placed it yet seeing I'm only showing the terrain here. No units or anything for now.) but one thing's not sure, is it safe or not?

That's all for this update but at least, it contains much more screenshots, lol.

Thanks for the comments.

Perhaps some spilled water on the ground to make it look swampy? I don't know if it fits though, or where to get one. The UTM's waters are square.

Other than that, perhaps some mini games in certain areas and mini bosses when you unveil secrets.

I've noticed also that there is no watery part in the map but maybe there would be on the Crypt Lord's area because it mostly involves a castle cave.

As for the mini games, I'm gonna assume that you are referring to different events in-game, well, there are such as the puzzles and etc. There are mini-bosses as well. See the big prison area in the last updates and such? There are mini-bosses there, no worries.

Perhaps a ranged Nerubian mini boss somewhere near the Crypt Lord?

Yeah, that could certainly work before the boss fight with Crypt Lord.


Anyway, here are two screenshots showing the first area of the cave as promised but my terraining skill here is pretty dull seeing that I excel more on the castle terrain rather than this so I'll need some help or feedback here (simple changes would do). Also, as an additional question, can anyone suggest me a model (more likely, a bloody spike) that I can use for the cave and possible to the castle as well? Thanks!

Fogs would be added for the cave to give it some proper lighting and of course for the overall castle as well. In next screenshots, I would remove the sky also seeing that it does ruin the dark atmosphere.

Cool, but you could maybe use custom lighting? Global Dungeon lighting doesn't work well for caves.

Yes, as I've written on the above post, I would certainly do that. But any suggestion for the lighting to use? As well, for a spike trap model to use preferably, a bloody spike model? I'll need some inputs of you guys to be guided on the cave terrain seeing that I want to make this as great as my castle terrain.

The UTM has a fog model. It isn't really a fog: just a glowing circle. You can enlarge it to emulate lighting.

Oh I see. I'll have a look at that but first downloading the UTM. I don't have the map since the time my laptop's hard drive was changed.

Anyway, here are two screenshots showing the changes on the cave terrain (not exactly the next area, still the same area I showed yesterday). Some more doodads added to it and changed the layout of the water (instead of deep water simply, it was changed into 'rolling shore" and also added a water model to make the water thick.) It's all thanks to Heinvers, he did all of the improvements! A very helpful individual.

The lighting would be implemented after and on the next cave terrain as suggested by CakeMaster and Heinvers.
