The Castle Hunt is a mix of a tag and rpg style. There are many characteristic features of this type.
Map connects the run and hide with an action & strategy fighting. Every move has to be careful to not die.
Both sides will have only 1 life unless a ressurection mode will be activated.
Objective is easy:


Human:Kill the monsters or survive certain amount of time and escape from castle.

Monsters: Kill the humans and dont let them escape.

All heroes will have the traditional 3 spells + 1 ulti. Here i thought normal spells will be rather boring and monotone so i implented many custom spells rarely met in other maps.

A "system" i thought is rather basic. Unit of human type that rather dont wanna fight can just hide in many special places. Such a place can be a group of plants, old tree. Its good to lose monster from own head too. It has a con wich is a radar of monsters. They have possibility to ping all humans that makes you to change position.

Map contains many custom models. They're used for heroes, shop sellers, creeps, doodas, effects. In one word everything. They make the map look better and more eye candy :D.

Like many maps this contains a attachment system. Every item has it visual effect. As for now i have implented helms, weapons. armors, boots. They make hero look more intresting.

Map contains many types of shops. In each you can buy many useful things starting from gear ending on fruits,meat and pots.

Map has a arena. As for now are only 2 "gladiators". To joini you need to have minimal exp and luck to make your "pet" win. Usually Price is 2x bigger then minimal exp.

On map there are 2 forces: human and orc. You can join 1 of 2 as human. Both forces give u a small house from wich you can build. For start you need to gather resources such as wood or nails. When uou end that stage then you cast a spell. After that some builders appear and start building for your allied force. Buildings can be defensive, healing or giving exp etc.

Every spell will have it casting time. For example if i have a frot nova spell unit will have to stand and cast it for 2 seconds. While casting name of spell and a bar showing time will be showned. Some spells will be instant. Some items like pots will use that system too.

as for now im creating system of item/bonus for monsters and i just wonder how to do such a thing.
i want every dmg upgrade to give 1 more stack of claw (item) to momnster what is done
i implented stacking system but i dont know ho make it give for example 3 dmg for each charge

i decided that i might finish the map as its progress is really far by now
as for today :goblin_good_job:
-i fixed building system and improved it a bit :D
-repaired the orc base terrain
-fixed some bugs in triggers
-added some new decorations
-removed unneccesary objects
-made the upg item system for monsters ( weapon as for now)
-fixed some other small things

-add more quests
-make proper descriptions
-improve F9
-balance the game

-fix all the occuring bugs

What did i do:
-fix disbtn problems of icons which turned into green
-upgraded some icons ( made some better 1nes by myself)
-added new 2 new spells for earth monster (changed impale and a passive totally custom spell)
-added new quest (skeleton king quest)
-improved look of map
-deleted again not needed files
-fixed some error in f9
-deleted murloc event as it was really buggy
-made plantasion give exp (maybe be changed to gold will see)



Main goals to achieve now is :
-add rest of spells (mainly ultis)
-implent casting time system ( need help with that)
-add more quests ( im thinking of adding like 4 quests more)
-make proper descriptions
-balance the game (really later when all done)
-add random events (need ideas)
-fix all the occuring bugs (will see later)

NOTES:
*alll unit stats (hp dmg etc will be changed and they werent set even a bit so dont wine about that)
*added 3 monsters (10 lvls ) for only testing purposes , 3 creeps were added on left to test spells
*cinematic might be changed
*items dont got descriptions or right added stats ( only look)
* to try our building system u need to go circle 1rst and join 1 of the sides and then put stick to slot 1 and nail to slot 2 and then u can use 1 of the buildings (recipe might be nails stick dont remember)

Imma testing this mapzor.

Edit: I can kill dummy units. And when my units die, same thing, i got kills.
Trigger on scoreboard - kills, you should add this.
  • Conditions
    • And, All (Conditions) are true
      • (Owner of lala) lalala... etc
      • (blalalala)
Edit again: issuing owner to drop item is a bad idea, i can spam stop button. I recommend you do this instead.
Add a variable TempPoint1 as a point.
  • Actions
    • Set TempPoint1 = Position of Unit Manipulating item.
    • Item - Create item being manipulated at TempPoint1.
    • Item - Remove item being manipulated.
    • Custom script - call RemoveLocation(udg_TempPoint1)
Notes: I also found leaks in your map. (tons of them...)
