It's been a year since I last drew and that was in the old thread here.

Started getting back at drawing 2 months ago near the end of December. Unlike past attempts though, this time I'm serious about getting better. I've given myself a small goal of drawing at least 30 minutes a day. Now that may not seem much but by achieving this goal each day, I've seen myself improve.

Anyways, here's the stuff I've drawn in those 2 months(Jan, Feb). Nothing really exciting, mostly studies, but I'd still like to show you guys.

Will be uploading future stuff in this thread.

The recent stuff pretty cool.I assume you have some books on how to draw since your are studying.

What kind of stuff do you draw in your free time?

Right now I'm currently following this site. Once I finish the anatomy lesson, I think I'll go check out Loomis' books.

What you are looking at is actually the stuff I drew in my free time.

  4. Can you draw something out of your mind? Like..... Imaginative art? I can observe you that you kept on using Drawabox.com for your brainstorming and Learning.

I've done a few drawings without using a reference. I do them when I'm at school with nothing better to do.
They're usually just random sketches done on scrap paper which I just throw away when I'm done.

    New Shtuff.

Not much study was done last week since it was exam week but I've decided to increase my drawing time from 30 mins to 2 hours. Hopefully I stick with it.

  6. Really nice, I'm looking forward for more stuff, Keep going buddy.

Well, you could've asked for your old thread to be opened and continue uploading there. Anyways, I like your animals.

    Thanks mate.

    @deepstrasz
    Thanks for the compliment.

I screwed up the formatting and how I uploaded images in the old thread making it looked messy. I didn't want to deal with cleaning it up. Also I didn't like the cringey title

    New post, new update!

So it's been a while since my last upload. Sorry about that. Was too lazy to post my drawings but it doesn't mean I haven't been drawing. Although sad to say that I haven't done much drawing for the past month and a half because of school and because of laziness. But, I'm back at it again. Anyways, enough rambling. Here's some new stuff:

Currently working on cleaner line work.

    Thanks mate!
Yeah the legs are a bit short on some of them. I should take some more time on carefully measuring them and their placement.

Your studies are going really nice already man. As they're doing fine now, I suggest now you should direct your efforts towards a fully-finished drawing to see what you get. You know, getting some pose + details + environment. But nice work!

uh oh, i see what you did here. You made te sketches one by one so it has big resolution, then color it digitally, one by one and put them in one place.
I actually still not sure what you made it. Looks like a princess protected by guards ambushed by spiders. But the concept is amazing, i really like it. Keep it up!
