Heiny, I love the foreground, but the rest is rather meh. The background hills really need work. I set your fog lower to obscure them more. Also I'd make groves of trees instead of evenly-ish spacing them.

There really is no definition for that, but if you're referring to the "Speical Prize" then you,
as well as Johannesr, seem to have missed one part:

50 Rep for the winner, if the winner is an old-timer
that hasn't been active in a while. I know you guys
are still lurking!

Off the top of my head, these are the ones I'd consider for that prize:

This is shaping up to be one neat contest, I'd love more contestants! (Even though I'll
hate you all when I start judging) I'm so not judgemental.
 
I use the fogged sky model.
I found this out when I was trying to find a solution for the missing bottom of the sky boxes.

It shows the sky model over the terrain, although the terrain still overides any doodad that is bellow it's z.
(Only if the terrain skin isn't transparent already.)

The sky model effects some models a very similar way, although sometimes it can depend if the model was already preplaced on first map load or some other random variables that come with the glitch.

It has a similar if not the same effect ingame.
