STL file Resource section for 3D Printing or other tabletop resources

Me and Ralle have been talking about adding tabletop resource section to the Hive e.g. a STL file section for 3D printing, custom game cards, game tiles, game dices etc. to be used in homebrew games e.g. Hero Quest, Elden Ring etc.

Let us know your thoughts!

Voting "no" because in my opinion, Hive has always been for (and should preferably remain) a place for Warcraft III modding.
If there was a sister website (or whatever you call it) that would open up for other areas of the warcraft universe, such as Hearthstone, WoW and or even boardgames, I wouldn't mind that at all.

I would just want it to be something rather seperate from the Hiveworkshop interface.

I wouldn't be opposed to a button that links you to the other website or area that doesn't have to do with WC3 modding though.

I second that opinion.

Having a 'detached' website for things that are not directly related to modding would be better.
Forcefully cramming stuff that only tangentially relates to Wc3 modding is not a very god way in my opinion.

If I wanted to 3D print an MDX, how hard would this be? Is there a reason the 3D printers cannot use MDX format, like Hive?

Maybe the 3D printers could be upgraded to allow us to pick a frame of an animation with a slider bar, and then print the model in that pose.
