Welcome, voice speakers!
You job is to create a soundset for the Night Elves' race, that could be used as a soundset, like the existing ones of Blizzard.

Rules

- The soundset must be followed by a model (custom or default Warcraft's) that is contained within the *.rar/*.zip file of your submission. If you are about to use a custom model, include it in the submission file; the model must be approved with at least 3/5 rating. The creator must be credited. If you are about to use a default one -of Warcraft's engine-, just add the soundset and make a test map with the model you want along with the imported soundset.

- The soundset must contain the following sound-types with the number of files required:
Pissed (3 files), Warcry (1 file), What (3-4 files), Yes (3-4 files files), YesAttack (2-5 files); submissions with less files than the "at least amount" will be disqualified.

- The sound set must not contain phrases of vulgar content.

- The submitted files must be of *.wav format.

- The audio file must have no background effects/sounds/music that were illegaly obtained. Credits won't be an excuse to use them.

Sumbissions

Your submissions will be uploaded via Pastebin and be sent to the judge in a private message. The soundsets, afterwards, will be uploaded within a public poll (the final step of the contest's procedure) to determine the winner, so that no member will be aware of the contestant they are about to listen to (anonymous = objective results). Do not use the private message of the submission as a pleasing letter towards the judge.

1st place: 45 reputation points + a special icon award
2nd place: 30 reputation points
3rd place: 15 reputation points

Kickass, but what is the theme? or is there a specific model or unit type we voice for?

I thought of adjusting it and concentrating the procedure over a specified model, but then I thought these contests should let the artist freely do his job, so, it will be a generic unit-type contest.

Well, I know there has been a similar contest before, I did my research. This has a different theme, not a one-minute voice acting, which so much affects a cinematic contest for example, but a Sound Set. There is a difference. Ok, rule over a specified model added: Necromancer. Thank you for your interest.

Restricting it to a specific model will make the entire contest completely fail.

Yeah, make it a any wc3 race unit, like any unit from human, orc, undead, night elf, naga.

If there are to be any restrictions it should be to a specific type of unit (mage, warrior, builder e.t.c...) or race (you prolly know what a race is).
This could proove to be a really nice contest.

Oh, that is what you suggested. Fine, I will do "Night Elf" then. I love them, we all do. Their mysterious feeling of "a storm is coming" has attracted us all. Agreed?

My bad for posting, didn't actually notice the original thread date, perhaps a good idea, to graveyard this contest then, or at least, be archived.

It's not in my hand to get this official. I was waiting for enough of participants to go on with this, well, not me, the mods. Plus, I chose Night Elves, so, Goblins will be just a pain in our ears (squeaking sounds with a baby voice).

Well, still, number one is pretty like finished, what about number two? I don't wish to be a judge, I want to take a part in one of them.

I linked the threads above, so that you can see why an additional sound set contest #2 hasn't taken place. Plus, the voice acting contest, in some post, it starts proposing a soundset contest, that is why I posted it.
