ShadowElemental

Another Elemental for my pack, now is Shadow, waiting for your feedbacks :)

Update 1:
Removed horns, spikes and some parts which made the model look like a demon.
Now it has a new look.
Added more armor and chains meshes.
Added more particles at the head.
Adjustted the Camera abit.
File size's increased (lol)

Update 2:
Removed Arm-chains in Portrait-Animation to reduce the Poly of the Portrait.
Removed some un-used textures.

Update 3:
Removed the chains on the arm.
Added arm's armor
Rescaled the dark-ribbon
Reduced the main-body's alpha (0.3)
The Polycount reduced from 7000+ into 4000+ lol (I also wanted to make the body armor too, but the chain looks pretty fit imo)

SS provided while the main SS has not been changed yet:

Would be really awesome if you could make an Earth and Wind elemental aswell for your pack, I could have some real use for all four main elements :)

The screenshot doesn't make justice to this model, this looks much better ingame, wonderful mesh, great animations, small file size and very freaking useful, since no one in the story of warcraft modeling have done a nice shadow elemental/ghost/demon/god/minion. Actually to me the mesh and the animations are so good that I will do an entire set of elementals out of this mesh, with different skins and effects, but that is just me. One thing I would like to point out, is that the swirling effect around the body and the arms should be traslucid, because right now it looks kind of cartoonish. Besides that, it is an awesome model, it seems you are improving with each elemental, can't wait to see your next elemental, keep the good work 5/5!!!

Oh wow. I need to DL to see in-game, but... The new and improved version is quite striking. Just the screenie alone depicts this slight Oriental-mythology bent you really don't see in Wc3 a lot (for good reason), but is pulled off well. Seems a tad bland (just the awexome mask, beautiful-polied chain, and smoky blackness), but I'll have to see it.

good model and especially without custom textures and good animations .
but to be honest , over 7000+ faces for a WC3 style model are huge ... the chains cost so many faces for this elemental models . i think u should change the meshes of chains into faces with alpha textures which contains chains' painting .

Tried that but it didnt look too good, Coz this model doesnt have any armors on its body. Thats why it needs a High-Poly-Chains. Thanks for the feedback anyway :)

then u should add armor or teamcolor or some othe things instead of mesh chains . it seemed that a model with over 7000+ faces and mesh chains isn't suitable the WC3 style .

anyway , a very good model though .

- Well seem like you cant sacrifice a little detail (which hardly noticed with ingame camera) to increase the useful value of the model even more.
- The number of particle emitter seem like too much, 356 for every animation of the model! Cutting the number down 'll make no difference on the model and save the particle. In some case, too much particle on the screen'll cause lagggg!

The chains seem a little plain. They look to me as if they're too bright for the rest of the
model, and they stick out a bit too much. I'm not sure if this was on purpose, or if maybe
it was already pointed out another post, but fix that and I'd give it a solid 4/5.

The chains really need a remake the rings are too big they should be smaller in size and greater in number, also they can be done with less faces or with a texture and give them some animation even a little up-down movement at some places would be enough. Noticed that they are intersecting at the front and the back.
The animations are really good, what program did you use to make them? Good file size too considering that those are hermite rotations.
