SFX Contest #3

Alright, I'm impatient.

Who's in? I say the theme should be Darkness/Blood.

That limits people in what type they make.



How about uber spells? A really complicated and long scene of particles that acts as a sort of end-of-the-world SFX or just something epic. We'd be creating a single one, no size limitations, but it has to last at least 30 seconds. This'd be amazing.

I like SFX contests, even I won't join to them. They usually products good stuff that I'm using.

I say no no, quack, to minimum 30 seconds, as that, quack, isn't very usable.
I think, quack, there should be no time limit, but elemental theme, quack?

A pack as always.

Blood and Death, not one only. We really don't want to limit things to red, or same sfx.

How about instead of blood just a general Gory theme, like you could have corpses that explode like the Abomination explode animation or something like that. I'd enter this if I could figure out how to make an effect

That requires some good animating, and we'd pretty much get the same SFX from everyone.

Like I said, if we make it only blood, we'll get some really repetitive entries.

I actually like the UBER SFX idea better. It could really turn out awesome. Although 30 secs is a tad much.

Perhaps something along the lines of 15-20 seconds.
