setup correct texturepath of ingame-textures within 3dsmax

hi everyone!

i know how to adjust the texturepaths by modifying the .mdl-file. its a little annoying, particularly when testing models, to change it every time again.

so, is it possible to setup these texturepathes within max (3ds max 5 + art tools) before exporting the model?

i hope u can help me out...
 
no...
BUT try this:

download the mdx pather from wc3c.net (or is it up here, too?)
copy and paste the pathes you need on your model into a .txt file.

every time you want to test copy them out of the .txt, open up the exported .mdx with the mdxpather and paste them in t here...
no need to rewrite everything and no hassle with constant converting.

also... u do know that there is a previewer in the art tools?
(so within max itself)

ok, ill try the mdx-pather. thx.

i know the art tool previewer and find it very handy, but some issues cannot be detected that way...
