Running 3DS Max 5 on Vista?

I can't get it to work. It sucks. When I try to run it, it says: "error loading C-dilla".
Does anyone else have this problem? Or is it a known issue?

Windows fucking Vista...

I don't know how you got it (I don't know if you can get a CD/DVD of it or soemthing or you have to download it), but in case you had to download it, I suggest you re-download everything or google to see if there are other users on the net having similar problems and found a solution for that already.

there's no solution for it. You need a compatible CDilla version for Vista, but Cdilla was discontinued a long time ago.

i remember when i had vista and installed 3Dmax on it
i managed to get it work but only for a few days :/ :'(

sorry about that, I didn't think before I said again. Yeah "as administrator" works well and did you try and right click on the icon click properties and then compatibility, then XP SP2? (or like Windows 98 not sure what it was made for)
