ARR! do I see hannibal the cannibal in goblin form? awsome!

Are the mechanic and capitalist both going to be heroes? I think the mechanic is a lot more useful as a non-hero (because of the Tinker and the "goblin Profiteer by phoenix IV").

Btw. I think a repair animation would be useful for the mechanic.

Anyway. Awsome job so far, keep it up! :D

Schweet. When I saw this bumped by you, I was excited to see the new model, and I like what I see. :p The smile is creepy (straight from the Alchemist's Ogre, right?)

I can also see the Forest Troll skin on the back... What are you using to model again? Are you making custom meshes and then applying in-game textures to them?

Finally, while the hair looks good, I think it's overused; didn't you use the same thing on the Mechanic? One or the other, IMO. (also, it's blue for crying out loud. :p)

--EDIT--
Just went through your thread, and realized there's a lot of awexome models you haven't actually released. Meh? :<

About the Textures:
I used the foresttroll for the body, true, but i just changed it to the Goblin from
the merchant.
The grin is the Grunt-texture and the hair is Furion...
well the hair on the mechanic used the texture from the dark ranger.

I use some kind of mix between modelediting and making parts from scratch.
Because i just suck like hell in making heads.

About the not realesed models: i just found some time to finish 'em.
Like the harvestgolem or the witchhunter (the "Fireman-Goblin").

going to update it when i finished some new parts of him (Pants, arms, Backpack)

Awesome models.

Hm, I'm just wondering if you are going to upload that greedy merchant. I got a hero in my map that is supposed to be rich finance guy. I'm currently using this skin as the hero.

Since the skin is green it could look pretty much like a goblin. And I planned to make up a story that orc faces were "modern" at thoose times and many famous and rich goblins made plastic surgeries to look like orcs. But then I saw your greedy merchant and though I could use him instead without making up a ridiculous story.

Female Tinker!

Hey there Guys!
Big news. I was pissed enough about not
having taken part in the female model competition
to make a VEEEEEEEERY late entry.
The female Tinker! *swing*

well so far its just the head but im going to "finish her"
where's that deep voice coming from?

Also its Time to punch Pyramidhe@d since he agreed with making
the texture.

also heres some of the conceptart. but im not sure about the roboform.

Hm...

I like the idea of a Female Tinker. The hair is unorthodox, but I suppose that's what you intended. :p

The concept art of her looks rather bland, no offense; just like "look at me in my goggles and tight leather", no mech stuff or whatever.
Also, the nose is hilarious, but I would suggest lowering it somewhat... It's almost *too* crazy. :p

The Mech form, in my opinion, should be like a feminine version of the Robo-Goblin. Either some kind of literal "fem-bot" (hehe), or just a slim, girly-version with a giant hammer and stuff.

Are you envisioning this model to have the same spells?

How about she has a backpack, from which different stuff come out, when animations are played. Like a small canon fires off, a laser gun, rotors that can be set up horizontal so that she can fly off, or vertical, so that she moves faster?

lets answer this one clearly. the last answer wasnt that great.

First: The Clothes
sure she doesnt look very tinkerish in that, BUT the original tinker
doesnt either. he could be anything without the wrench and his backpack.

Second: The hair
I know you just dont like any of the goblinhairs im making, but i
thought that mohawks are goblinlike and i never even saw concepts
of a Female Goblin with a mohawk (not that i saw that many concepts of
female goblins).

Third: Roboform
Im not finished with the roboforn yet, since im just working on
the tinker itself. maybe starting some kind of conceptart contest ^^.
But one thing for sure there will be NO HAMMER. Im intending to give her
Robo-Goblin a giant sawblade instead (female = less strenght but more agility).

Fourth: Attacks
Its a very very very late entry for the female version model contest
of course the attacks are the same. Wich doesnt mean i wouldnt make the
animations sorta neutral so she can be used for some other things than
the tinker.

If not it should be a model of its own. The mouth could have like a fire inside it and then it could be used as a fire breath or something.

Hey hey, I was a little quick and harsh with my original critique. First off, it's concept art, so I should wait to see the model/texture.
(Wait, the original Tinker does look "tinker-ish"... I mean, he's the Tinker. :p He's got the little hard hat, and the grey, simple clothes... etc)

?? When did I say that? Granted, the strange blue-thing on top of the Mechanic's head threw me off... But creativity is something that really makes new models stand out. I mean, it's better she have something interesting about her to give her personality. (then again, there are other hairstyles that make sense) (then again again, other than WoW there isn't a lot of precedence for Goblin hairstyles).

The main problem with my critique is that I can offer no better alternative; I'd really have to see it. So whatever; it's cool. Just don't make it purple. xD

I like it.
Especially the blade-idea. Instead of a saw-blade, could I suggest an actual "blade"-blade, like the one on Megatron from the Transformers? (<--- SUGGESTION ONLY). :p

So basically, since it's "supposed" to be for that modelling contest, you're going to follow the rules and make her fit the tinker (so has Cluster Rockets and Pocket Factory and Robo-Goblin animations)? Alright, that's a good framework to go off of.

My only disappointment is that doing this will make the model less usable in general; like, if I don't want to replace the Tinker model, but I want to use this for some other unit, I won't be able to give that unit any sort of "Morph" ability (for example), since she'll turn into a giant robot. :p

~~

Anyway, just wanted to say; don't get your knickers in a twist. So far, almost every model you've made has surprised and impressed me (personally), so I'm looking forward to seeing this one completed as well. (as long as you can get it done within the next two weeks, of course. :p)

Long Time No Update.
So here it is!
The Remake for the Brawler!
The Steamwarrior!
attachment.php

Edit: Well all this wouldnt have startet without
General Frank, wich made a Goblin-model out of
boredome and allowed me to to whatever i want
to do with it.
Meaning: The model itsels isnt 100% made by
me. Just the hair, the backpack, the arms, the shoes
the red button. the body was mainly from GF.
