Conflux? Hehe, again with the HoMM references, Alagremm? I do believe that would only work in the format that Heroes of Might and Magic 3 did the race. Although there are other ways to do it, too many people know and love the good ol' Conflux race with Armageddon hax

No, we must come up with a more unique name for Misha's ideas... like Pantheon for the town hall? Could work, but isn't he doing a Pyramid for his base structure? It's rather difficult to give that a name that refers to 'combined might' or 'elements' or even 'ultimate power'... ultimate power... could call it Sky Temple or something...

Pantheon of elements? Olympus of elements? Something like that of elements?
Conflux... does just Flux suits anything? and where you are gonna use the rift?

For the fire tower, it could be Tower of Oblivion or Blazing Sentry. What about Embodiment of Elements?

Easy, Misha. They are just giving out suggestions. You don't have to be a jerk about it.

Conflux is the name of elemental city from HoMM3.
It means... well when a lot of stuff unites into one thing, this is mostly relative to water and elements.

hmm.. conflux might be a name for something as a elemental "sacricifal pit"

and chaos.. i already stated names for the main building(s) and for the fire tower.

i do not think those are bad names.

Buuut.. let's all go back to the task at hand.. i need names for other 3 elemental towers (excluding firecharger) (elemental tower of fire)

Air Tower: Windfury Tower...?

Abyss is more of a demonic meaning, or some sort of Outland elements.
Windfury is already used(Wind-Fury elven tower).

Abyss also means the deep or darkness. Yeah, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean. If not Abyss, what about Depths or Deep?

Abyssal: of or relating to the bottom waters of the ocean depths.
Sounds pretty watery to me.

about the water tower.. we need a different name now...

Guard of the Depths/Deep? Or Obelisk of the Depths? Does the word 'salvage' have anything to do with water?

Is the earth tower an area-of-effect tower, like the cannon tower? For the air tower, Swift Guardian? Cyclone Monolith?

Ough, I like that! Not Swift Guardian it sounds more like a summonable unit.

Yeah, cyclone monolith is awesome! And have you decided what missle effect they'll use? I mean that I don't think its a good idea that we just have lots of units shooting same fire/earth/air missles? Maybe Earth tower should have attacked from the ground, just like that zerg building from starcraft? You know, that sunken or whatever colony?

Sunken colony? Interesting. However it should be Stoneclaw Tower.

hmm you might wanna consult Chaos on wherever the elemental towers attack or not.. as research and requirement buildings.. i'd say they don't.. :/

Ya, I've been debating that. But I probably will give them an attack. I love the idea about the zerg tower style attack. I will definatly use that.

hmm.. my thoughts exactly.. but what else could like.. send such spikes like the sunken colony? Oo;

and.. hm.. could we take some ideas from a zerg larva and how it evolves into units?

You can make a barrage-based ability and change the missiles to Impale, or the building could have an Unholy Aura that decreases enemy speed and health, using the Earthquake model as the aura.

@Misha, possibly. One thing I want is a unique build type for units. Something along the lines of "summon", but more original. I don't want the simple "train Adherent" type thing.
@GhostThruster, I thought the same thing about the missle to impale thing.

well Chaos, i think that when sunken colony attacks it has no missile, and has an impale as an hit-effect.

i think we could "morph" certain units like the zerg do

Hmmm... I tough that the basic training building trains one basic unit of each element. Like Earth, Fire and Air... and the advanced ones don't train any, they just give the reseach wich allows basic units to morph.

good idea indeed.. but let 'em first morph into some.. elemental cocoon?

Essence of [Your element here]? Maybe someting with Pure or Essence?

I'm liking the idea of the elemental cacoon and the zerg style race. The only real problem with that is that we would be drifting a bit too far from making a fifth race. We would be going too "custom" and less like the basic setup that a warcraft 3 race should have.
But I still like the idea. And if you are for it Misha then I will do it that way. If not then I will continue the normal way.

Actually since Starcraft race standarts are similar to Warcraft, you can make elementals like zergs. Just don't add banelings.

"Cocoons" should be Void or Vortex.

Sounds good.

So since main creates all 4 elements (through "cacoons") then maybe it would be better not to have it as a fire building. And instead make it with all 4.
And how about Elemental Seed as the "cacoon".
So this is how I think it should be:
Main 3 tiers
Food
Alter
One upgrade building for each element.
One tower that turns into the other four.
Total: 8 buildings, 6 upgrades

Shop? (lol, nah, it would just be too wierd)
