A discussion to store your race info. Note that this is not a place for discussion and debate. Here you will place the list of units, buildings, abilities, spells, upgrades and race features. If you need ideas then please post in Race Discussion. If it is not race info then it doesn't belong in this discussion. At the top of each post, put the name of the race that you are talking about to avoid confusion. If you have ideas for some parts of the race (like units and abilities) but don't yet have an idea for another part (like buildings) then don't be afraid to reserve a post so that all your info of your race stays together.

These races are for my project, which can be read about on this thread:
Settlers of Rahgaer

The races are:
Humans: Complete
Orcs: Complete
Demons: Almost Complete
Lizardmen: Planned but not started
Elves: Not started
Dark Elves: Not started
Undead: Started

The main idea is that each race follows a theme from a different ancient civilization (which is discussed between diosilva16 and myself). Here's a list of what their appearances will be based on.

Humans: Roman Empire
Orcs: Barbarians/Vikings
Demons: Mythical Fallen Race (inspired by Ancient Greek mythology, but not based on)
Lizardmen: Mezo-Americans (Aztecs and Mayans)
Elves: Ancient Celts
Dark Elves: Morrowind Dark Brotherhood Feel (not sure what civilization this really is :p)
Undead: Egypt

Elves of the White Tree ( High Elf )
Elves of the Green Tree ( Night Elf )
Elves of the Golden Helmet/ Silvermoon ( Blood Elf )
Orcs of the Shading Twilight ( Necro Orcs Clan )
Shadow'gur ( Warlocks, Of MANY races: Fel orcs Main )
Doomhammer Servants ( Orcs, until Thrall's Reign )
That's the one that i'm planning to finish on my map.

The races are:
High Elves: Complete
Trolls: Complete
Undeads: Some work remains

Upgrades, tooltips, undead heroes, balancing is pretty much what remains

A lot is undecided so far, but I plan to add more "cool" stuff to the map, such as bossfights, random events, diffrent systems and so on. However that is something that will happen once I am completely satisfied with the races (High Elves, Trolls, Undeads).

Also when all that is done I also plan to add more races:
Humans (not the default one - will be revamped)
Orcs (not the default one - will be revamped)
Night Elves (not the default one - will be revamped)
Naga (not the default one - will be revamped)

Thanks VeljkoM, I will most likely post updates in the thread though.
Half of the time I don't post my updates however - simply because spending that much time on making a post ruins my "game map-making flow".
No Misha, no elemental race.

Progress is at a failure right now. There's not too much that I can do atm. I have been working on my 2D art skills and hopefully I will be able to start making the icons for the race soon. After my first acceptable icon comes out then it should begin to flow again.

Oh,its not nazi germany,its a 'throughout the ages' germany.So T1 is medieval,T2 is colonist and T3 is modern.Its more like a challenge ive taken,to try to fit a real-world faction into a wc3 race format.

2. Druids of Ashenvale
3. Acrecia Empire of Lordaeron
4. Gods of the Warcraft Realm

Before you ask, yes it takes loads of models, so I am asking for help. So I am starting with the demons.

I probably oughta give a srs answer.

Jungle Trolls as a 5th-race addition to the game, compatible in nearly every way, is my primary, penultimate goal. A campaign for them is the ultimate goal.

After that, though, I have had loads of fun over the years theorycrafting different races; enough so that I think I could fill a mod or two. However, for several reasons I've broken them up:

TOTAL CONVERSION 1: The Sub-Races
- The Ironforge Alliance (Dwarves & Gnomes)
- The Trollish Tribesmen (Jungle Trolls & Beasties)
- The Forsaken (Undead & Undead)
- ??? Either
- - The Dalaran Magocracy (Humans & Elves)
- - The Nerubian Empire (Nerubians & Golems)

TOTAL CONVERSION 2: The New Races
- The Goblin Consortium
- The Naga Empire
- The Pandaren Kingdom

And then I thought of a cool Goblin mini-race thing (credits in part to HandCLAW)
- The Boomsquad Corps
- The Alchemist's Union
- The Mektology Institute
- The Shadydeals Incorporated

And over time I've toyed with some others (Contests & such):
- Elementals Races (all together, and separately the Earth at least)
- Forest Trolls
- Probably some other third thing.

And I will never do:
- (Blood) Elves
