Version 0.5.0.0

The time has come for us to reveal some major progress:
Some core systems have been remade and in the upcoming
versions they should be fully polished and completed.

First of all we have changed the hero pick system.
As you can see below you are now able to choose one of
12 different classes and play the game with the chosen one.

The main character's name is finally announced, behold the
Champion of Light Arkail.

Each class has different primary Skill attributes (that
will more or less effect further hero development) as
well as different ways of role-playing in game.

As you can see each skill increase something related
to gameplay, there are 12 skills and they are given to 3 different classes (agi, str and int related ones).

The new damage system brings 5 different damage types,
basic (normal) damage and 4 elemental damage types, each
one acting differently and having its own resistance.

Another cool and unique thing is Item System.
Custom Inventory :)
8 different fields (we have 2 same fields for rings)
and 18 empty spaces, should be enough, eh?

Should I mention different animations for bow, sword,
unarmored...

Also I almost forget SPELLS will be REMOVED, instead
Wand and Staff items will give abilities to hero when
equipped :)
Some legendary staffs or some class related items
can give max 4 abilities :)

The Item, Skills and Damage Systems together
change more than 25 different values related to the game.
From critical chance and multiplier to experience rate, gold
drop rate and so on.

This is just 1 small aspect of everything created, expect a full changelog
on release.

Yea I've to say this is amazingly done and you managed it very swiftly, but there's actully one thing I think you could have added one more item slot in the top right corner since it looks really emty there otherwise then that I think it looks picture perfect 9.5/10 extremly good work.

-Kobas-, I and other guyz have been thinking how many slots would be good. We still might change the amount. Though propably not.
 
at the very least, maybe another equip slot on the upper left to make it symmetric... XD

Maybe I add something there in future ^_^
But right now I must setup items and abilities. (Depend on how fast mag can finish stat bonus library)

I will add character into CI later so you can see attackments on unit and shits.
 
Guys Magtheridon finally finished item stats bonuses script, I will show you now some functions that we use.

JASS:

Dunno how you understand vJass, but this 2 functions save together 31 (if I count right) different effects.

Just imagine legendary ring item that can increase 20 stats at once.
9 different item classes, 5 different item categories (common, uncommon, rare, unique, legendary) and 31 stats for now == FUCKING HUGE NUMBER OF POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS!

IMPORTED AND FINISHED WITH SETUP.
Just item generation left now!

Congrats to 5 000 posts -Kobas-, also this is awesome even though I don't think you should use 20 diffrent stats on one item since I think items should be roll specific.
 
Thank you guys, now when everything is ready I can craft items slowly.
I have exactly 1 week to finish this :)

Here is item list in theory :)
Keep on mind that for example Iron Sword can have many shapes like:
Rude, Rusty, Fine, Sharp, Brutal...

So all together when I finish whole terrain and shit there should be around 1000 items :)

I think the map can be outstanding even if -Kobas- decides to use simpler spells that are more common.
 
Well there won't be regular spells :)
Instead Wand and Staff items will give spells to Hero.
Max 4 spells.

Wand will give spells with small cooldown, below 3 sec.
While staff can give more powerful spells.

So if you play as MAGE and pick staff you will cast spells in your game.
If you play as warrior you won't.

Ofc there will be some spells like Mortal Blow or True Strike but only on high quality items :)

That is ok I just meant that you should not do something complicated and hard to use :)

Ahh ok let's just hope him the best of luck and hope that when he's done with the contest he'll come back to awesome up SotP.
