So we can give the terrain a whole new thing,, it sucks,,
But TDHX, i want to know, do i have to redo every pokemon, dummy unit, and ability in object editor? Or did you at least grab a map you already had and resized/reterrained it?

Why is the terrain that bad in the city?

When having Trigger editor or Object editor open, click the file window in that window (for instance, Files in the Object Editor, and not in the World Editor). Then click "Export Object/trigger data" Then it will save a .w3a or .w3o based on the file (maybe not the excact file type, but something like that). To import...well, click "Import object/trigger data". For jass, well, im not sure if it exports Jass too, otherwise, just make a txt file for each of the jass scripts, call the file the name of the trigger, and paste in the code. That way, you know what to call the trigger when pasting back in.

yea i was thinking about the object data. and LOS is right. u can export, and then import everything. its not that hard...just dont screw up ( make backup maps )

Ill give you the map soon. Im still making things. We will figure this mess out soon...hopefully it all works out...if it doesn't we will resort back to the old map and re size that.

LoS: About triggers,, I mostly use Scopes and Librarys, so they dont need to have the same names ;)
And if i dont use them, i always have the InitTrig_<NAME> function, which holds the exact name ;)

TDHX: You already terraining? Or are you doing the shape of the world now?

@ Darkxs: The demo is fucked up, i know =P, but we are redoing all terrain now,,

Terrain looks sweet ^^,, But i think we need more space then the reserved space on the top (it looks so tiny now =\ ),, maybe double it? That would give me certainly enough space! If i need less, we can always tighten it, i will of course start in the topright so it wont give strange forms if i need less after all,,

But: Sweet,, really sweet! ^^

BTW: I have retaken work on the battle system, i dont know why it does not work, but i am working on it!
I am remaking it so that it now IS possible to get the order of the units (in this case, according to speed)

Well, Zeron, i have to say, that european terrain looks good! On some points the raise terrain seems spammed, but that is actually only in the desserts ;)

Updating 1st Post, Zeron, if you still want, you are now one of the terrainers,,
Make sure to stay on thread every now and then ;)

Figgured some of you guys might want to take a look at these, some FAQs from when I was working on my pokemon map. They have some nifty things if your interested in the workings of the game, such as the order of things that happen in a battle:

First pokémon's turn:
*Sleep duration deduction*
[First pokémon is frozen solid, fast asleep, or wakes up]
([First pokémon must recharge])
*Disable duration deduction*
[First pokémon is disabled no more]
*Confusion duration deduction*
[First pokémon is confused no more]
*[First pokémon is fully paralyzed]*
*[First pokémon hurts itself due to confusion]*
*PP is deducted from selected attack*
*[Attack is used]*
*[Attack misses]*
*Damage calculation including critical hit*
*Battle animation*
*Damage and primary effects of attack*
[Second pokémon's substitute took the damage]
[Second pokémon's substitute broke]
[Critical hit]
[Type effectiveness of attack]
[Any flavor text associated with the executed attack]
([Second pokémon faints])
*[Second pokémon's rage builds]*
*[Secondary effects of attack]*
*[Recurrent poison/burn damage to first pokémon]*
*[Recurrent Leech Seed damage to first pokémon]*

might be useful for creating the battle-system triggers, also most are pretty well written and interesting enough to read through. The stratagy part could be implemented if you guys wanted to create some seriously challenging battles to.

BTW, with gameboy emulators and pkmn roms avalible free for download you totally need to make this map multiplayer XD

Bahh, its illegal if you dont own a real copy of the game. And its illegal to share copys of game to start with.

And i dont understand what your trying to say? What does emulators have to do with this map? :S

Me and my cousins loves to play pokémon.

ok cool id like to do some stuff!!! lol coulda i get a copy of the map or how am i gonna terrain some? and just tell me what when and were ill get all the info from the orignal pokemon yello or fire games lol!

~edit nvm i geuss il need a lil more help i took a look at the shots and see its not follwoing any game its more of made up terrian... i would like to make the cities for city like and detailed though!

Oh well, asides from the campaign chapters that I have to terrain (mayan ruins this time), there's an Terraining contest going on. As I got it in 5th last time, this one is a great chance for my redemption, so, good luck Zeron!

Remember: Say no to Blizzard cliffs and send the Lordaeron Summer tileset to hell!

Yeah it's illegal, but it's not like they have any form of tracking you...and even if you do get 'caught' and the popos come to your house it's not exactly difficult to get rid of the files.

I think he's saying there's no point in playing this map if you can just play the actual games..

I know right i mean he said the water fronts were to sharp!!! wtf i made it with rolling shores! lol and mauontains were to pointy!! which ones!!!!!!! i made the real life high ones f*cken hi!!! lol it pissed me off man i spent like a totall of 15 hours on that just getting the shape of the continet the same as my f*ken globe god!

Well thanx man and if anyone needs it i still have it. dude while im doin some terraining here(if i ever get the map) im working on a gladiator map from scratch. i figure there sint reALY ANY GOOD ONES STILL BEING WORKED ONB BY ORIGINALK OWNBER SO IF I CAN GET A GOOD ONE GOIN WITH A few good peeps it would be a real hit. i got terraining almost complete. i need a few hero ideas.... well this iusnt abt that its abt pokemon!!!! grrr lol whenm is it my turn to terrain! i am soooo eager! lol
