Negev!

Southern Israel(AKA the Negev). Been there with my class during 24th-25th(Wednesday and Thursday). Nice place.
Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT how the rest of Israel looks. Where I live at, everything is green and flowery and whatnot.

Woah, you guys have roads? All this talk about villages and village phones has manifested an image of Israel being primitive tribesman's land.

Huh, lol. Most people in Israel live in cities and towns, just like in your Norway-place. But there is a small minority of people who rather like the fact that there isn't a constant noise of cars going by your house, and as such live in Villages(Kibbutzim actually). They're a lot cleaner, greener and overall nicer looking than cities(in my opinion at least).

Either way, what I showed above is an unusual sight for me. The most of Israel is not much different than most countries. Don't think our whole country is a desert.
