New Update Moved the Editor

Good news, the World Editor still exists, it's simply been moved.

It seems the new update moved the World Editor and changed the way it works a bit.

However, the old trick of making a folder called [War3.mpq] with a .txt file called UI containing a line which would enable you to make sharp cliffs-- no longer works.

I was making a custom map on 1.30

I just updated to 1.31 and now the map is a complete mess.
Custom strings gone or messed, triggers disabled for no reason. Map is dead. Months of work wasted.

Oh God

Myself I outsourced the scripts to my map, so I can't tell if they're destroyed or not

All I know is I won't be able to touch the terrain anymore, or this happens

Oh no! This makes me afraid to update. I’m going to certainly save an extra copy of my map before I open it with the editor! Sorry to heard the bad news for you guys. :/

No luck there, tried it as War3.w3mod and War3.war3mod by accident, didn't work in either flavor. :c

These new updates are frustrating, I mean I like the stuff they've added - but I wish they wouldn't change the mechanical bits inside so we can't edit it ourselves.

Try with no subdirectory. For example place the UI folder in the main Warcraft III folder.
