New Maps Section

Hey all!
Most of you might have noticed it already. I have finally finished setting up the new maps section which features most of the features the other new sections does:
- resource reporting
- resource repping
- post-count for commenting and vBulletin-style posting
- Blah blah.. Try it!

I have also updated the front page with a new ad and removed the borders.

I have also fixed a few glitches already.
- Campaigns were bugged but I straightened that out yesterday.
- I had to delete 4 maps today due to a tiny bug also.

Could you tell us what those maps were called? Some might want to know.

it's great. Maybe you could add also number of downloads after you click on that map.

Question: Some maps say they are in the tools section, some say they are in the maps section (when doing the search for new posts function). Why?

There is about 4000 maps ... ? This is insane. Alpha map, 10% released map, crappy map....
Is there a "approved" section map ?

That's happened to everyone. In the old section, votes were registered via an IP address. Now it's via your username.

yes but i would just look at the directers cut map

Go to DC or just search for a specific map. 4000 is nothing, Epic War has like 20K I believe xD

Unlike SOME places, we actually need to pay for our hosting, which is rather expensive. Advertisements= money, thus, we need advertisements.

Sadly I don't think we can control the content, which is controlled by the advertiser. You can send them a complaint if you really like.

Found a sort of 'bug', in the map update requirements when you're uploading / updating a map, it says that stuff with the brackets, which was only in the old section. Now, you have to do it above the map picture when you're in it. Should probably be updated .
