New Content Discussion [SPOILER]

Wow, that explained why we saw mariliths only in the Hunter and Prey mission. The matriarch is showing as a cunning leader, moving everything and everyone who can be a thorn on her back afar. She sworm to never be an ally of a dreadlord, but she thinks like one of them...
The pit-warlord in the other hand, I wonder his reaction if he learn Maronogin is having the best time on his live earning riches from the mortals. Surely his reaction will be funny.

This is interesting, i was expecting maybe Ebira or Vermon would take the spotlight on the side of the demons instead we got a pitlord esentially a field marshal type race in the demon legions (even though this one seems to have risen above the occassion) and a medusa larper. This should be interesting.

Tough choices, I went with Circle because the whole Undead rebellion seems more interesting to see from a rebel view.
Dragon because it would be interesting to see the Zyanior conflict from a new perspective.
Pure because it would be interesting to play more Golden Guard finding new friends instead of just being punching bags.

i went with path of the bloodclaw because I love that character and I want to see his family show levels to everything else as they always had
path of the nameless because I need to know who that dude was before
path of the dragon because I always thought thanok was insane and I wonder how the world is from his perspective and also experience Zyanor from a new light
also the fact that you introduced a whole new playable faction which looks incredible, was the main antagonist for the whole series and has one of the most intresting objectives out of this war and still the established characters can compete in a pool is incredible I wanted to vote for them but the mistery behind Veln and my love for Zyanor were too strong and it seems that many people here are on the same page .
this just goes to show how good the writing of those characters was and once again I have to say "hats of to you" shar, karskin and to everyone else that helped with the scripts 👏👏👏

I choose the path of the Heroes and the path of the Pure. I want to know how is the performance of the group and how certain skeleton can be save from his mad master. And of course the return of the GG, and how all factions react to this.
And I don't want to support neither the kinslayer not that "duke" mad dragon.

I really don't know for which paths to vote, so I decided to discuss them all and hope somehow I end up with a decision.

  • Path of the Two :
So the path of the Two focuses on Ebira ? But who is the second ? Maybe Orie Redfist since she grabbed her after her father's death, but that seems weird. I doubt Ebira is particularly lacking in servants, and Orie seems more like a useful tool easy to manipulate than a close second-in-command.

  • Path of the Watcher :
This one is interesting for one reason mainly. Is there a combination of choices where we can achieve what no one else could : lead Aridon to take a reasonable decision regarding the future of the world ? Though I'm also curious about how far we can carry out his plans. Can we completely wipe out life in the world, or will we end with just Arkain being genocided and Aridon preparing for the sequel ?

  • Path of the Circle :
I wonder what factions we'll get to play in this one. We'll most likely start with the Zirr Nexus, since they cooperated closely with Cora, but I doubt they're enough to take on the four. I hope we'll get to see a lot of alliances of convenience (like fighting with Zyainor in some battles against the undead, or the dwarves against the dominion, or even with the dominion themselves against the undead)

  • Path of the Dragon :
Seems very straightforward, but the mention of internal enemies seems interesting. Could be refering to Zoïa.

  • Path of the Bloodclaw :
I wonder how central Gardon will be on that path. Because, while he is one of my favourite characters in the world of Arkain, he has already been very present, and I really hope his children get to shine and don't stay too much in their father's shadow.

  • Path of the Pure :
I wonder what they'll do. They might go after Zyainor, but their position isn't really ideal for that, and Kerrel isn't exactly their biggest fan.

  • Path of the Heroes :
This path is quite novel for Arkain. The first and second books were definitely a story of armies and generals, with very few "heroes", with neither lands nor an army. I wonde if we'll have the opportunity to see them move from one side to another, from one conflict to another, and maybe even to choose where they go and who they'll help. I hope that, despite being focused on a party of heroes, this path will still have many RTS missions, maybe with more limited rosters (like helping/taking over a village's militia for a level).

  • Path of the Nameless :
I'm torn on whether or not to vote for this path. On the one hand, I feel it could be very cool to play other paths first, and maybe see glimpses of Veln or his actions on the world to feel even more curious about who he really is. But on the other hand, it would be a bit disappointing to learn too much of who he is from another path than his own. So I think I'll vote for him, but if other paths don't give too much away about him, I don't mind playing a few other paths before his.

In the end I voted for path of the Bloodclaw because I'm a Zyainor fanboy at heart, path of the Nameless for reasons stated above and path of the heroes because it seems really new. But honestly, all the paths seem interesting to me so I'd love whichever order Shar feels is narratively interesting.

I went with Path of the Two, since i´m really interested in demons in arkain in general and Ebira as a faction, also with the newest additions to the Demons roster i´m excited!.
Path of the Circle, which i suppose is Fiona/Progaderas or even Harmos and the Orden of the Flame since they are mages, perhaps even more orders and Path of the Heroes because is new and we don´t know many heroes per se except maybe Bubblerino and Praxeus with his group, but those already have a path in the Nameless so i went with the mysterious one.

Also, there are no Orcs path? I wonder why the Dominion isn´t there.

It wasn't in the top five.

I'm pretty sure the Circle is the group led by Aedale, Cora and Kenos, since they talked about destroying the Four in the legacy of Arkain trailer. An earlier post in ANN also mentioned a Path of the Flames and a Path of the Guardian, which seem to correspond better to Fiona and Harmos.

Path of the Heroes because is new and we don´t know many heroes per se except maybe Bubblerino and Praxeus with his group, but those already have a path in the Nameless so i went with the mysterious one.
Personally, I think Veln's path will likely diverge from the rest of his group, likely as a consequence of recovering his memories, thus creating one path focusing on Veln and another focusing on Praxeus and the others. Maybe they'll share their first levels, just with different objectives and choices (I certainly hope Veln gets to still interact with the rest of the group)

Personnally, I just don't see any other character being "long-time friends" on a journey to "make Arkain a better place", unless the description is extremely sarcastic.

I was playing the True Story and this dialogue come to me. This maybe is a foreshadow of Vanessa death in Legacy of Arkain and he blaming himself to not be there to save her and now he will to fight in a war that he doesn't want.

Shar Dundred were cooking.

I think that we will see Path of Shadows yet, a path lead by Amari and Brian to represent Salrian

And maybe a Path of Rock? The power of Grofzag seems big than really are giving him foresight of the future itself!

While you might be onto something here I think that the war refered here is the one betwen the gods. Also there will be a while until we will see the orcs paths because they were not in the top 5 ...and to be honest while they were the second most interesting race in the true story(in my opinion better than undead but far behind humans especially during the second books era...maybe in the first books i would say they were the best)now with all the new additions in legacy they cannot really compete.
The visions Grozfag sees here are ancient and "not his own"meaning that he is not involved himself so there seems to be a past reeference rather than a quote on quote "forshadowing"

...also, does the presence of Infernal Engines and other constructs in the screenshot mean we will be finally visiting the Forge of Kostragoth?
That depends entirely on the path you choose to walk on... :peasant-cheers-back:
She sworm to never be an ally of a dreadlord, but she thinks like one of them...
Ironic, isn't it? :peasant-wink:

I'm going to be playing all of these paths and will be ranking them by which one I'd play first.

1. Path of the Bloodclaw: I'd love playing Bloodclaw in the first/second human books and the true story. He was the imperial general who embodies the quote: "the ends justify the means" by utilizing necromancy against their war with the orcs and the demons. He is willing to do what needs to be done when achieving a total victory against his enemies and not to mention, his kit was always fun (please change curse bolt to the armor reduction :D). A father losing his first born son is never easy and I dread the confrontation that is set in motion between Bhaarizel's two proteges.

2. Path of the Two: From the photo of the demonic legions, I'm looking forward to be playing the demon factions and especially knowing more of Erganoth's Darkblade Legion and Vermon's Mindslayer legion. I wonder what intrigues Ebira has set up within the demon lands to make an another invasion to the lands of the humans. I'm also excited to see a blue fel guard hero (aww yeah)

3. Path of the Circle: I can't wait to see these set of heroes banding together (Aedale, Cora, Kenos, and hopefully Gorthog and King Gorehowl) to fight against Tregakh's and Aridon's influence. I'm also interested in the more in-depth lore about the four, especially the demon god Zindarach (correct me if this isn't his name or how its spelled). He's the last god that hasn't gotten an in-depth exclusive since he's "dead", but I don't think that's the case.

4. Path of the Watcher: I don't care for much of Aridon but what I do care about are the undead nexuses and the undead generals who were under Aridon's influence. I have a feeling that Haran, Ornasion, Kazardius, and Rahandir are not coming back to his services after what Aridon has told the undead his true intentions now. However, I do see some of them coming back to his services with his new plan, like my boy Edoarus the Executioner! I'm confident he will have a thrill in killing his former comrades who betrayed his master.

5. Path of the Nameless: The most interesting character from Praxeus' band of mercenaries. I know all about the rumors and theories of who he is and if he's Blen Greymoore, I'd be shock since I thought he died in the mission where the Darkmind clan storms into the castle where he was imprisoned. But since I believe he's dead, then I would say Logan the Skirmisher since he "died" off screen against the Moghtar.

6. Path of the Dragon: This path has to be about Thanok right? Well, this path seems similar to the path of bloodclaw since Bloodclaw and the dragons are in an alliance and Bloodclaw may be leading these armies since his eldest son just died.

7. Path of the Heroes: Praxeus' band of mercenaries are an okay group and it may be cool to see what their next adventure may entail. Will Krom go back to Aridon and if so, will the rest of the group follow him to save him? Their adventures may lead them to stop a war or who knows, they may even join the Path of the Circle? Hahaha, I digress.

8. Path of the Pure: Rebuilding the Golden Guard doesn't seem that interesting to me. The only two things that are going for me for this path is the portal to Rodan, which was beyond my wildest imagination from Lord Marin's lab and the side story with Fiona van Durce. I hope to see that Fiona van Durce will to come back to the Golden Guard since the experiments on Valerie van Durce have reduced to humanized experiementation. However, I have a feeling that its too late for Fiona to be able to come back, as she is too far gone into the darkness.

EDIT: Is there no path with the dominion?

I know that these news have the risk of surprising & saddening you all but...
There are rumors that some Arkain characters, one being the most beautiful person who
has ever graced the face of Arkain's earth, have changed their looks after the war...

I am sure they have only moved closer to true beauty... and I don't know if I should be intrigued or deeply terrified by that...

New model brings memories of when the elven survivor of Kome comes back for Revenge on fleet mission where you have to come back from Gnoll Island. Revenge is my guess for word Shar is refering to.

Wait I'm a bit confused are we talking about the true story continuation through story and comment or is there an extended gameplay?

The legacy of arkain is a wc3 campaign(gameplay and story) just like the true story was however the last playble map was lauched 2-3 months ago because shar and karskin need the feedback of the comunity to decide which path they should make first hence the pools but it is gameplay . The prelude(the first 4 missions) are available from the news network and from the downloads. For the continuation you will have to wait a bit.

I'm glad Salana is alive. Although the wretched Ironfist triumvirate scarred her forever, I hope you get the justice you deserve, even if that means resorting to necromantic arts.
I hope both Saphira and Lera can help her.

Time to play another round of overanalyzing screenshots :
On the new models, they look really cool ! I wonder, will there be a "trigger" for Aridon's makeover ? Since he looked the same in the prologue and, well I can understand the others changing their looks over time in 20 years, but Aridon didn't really do anything during that time.
Also, Meya's armor looks distinctly zyainorian, so that conforts me in my idea that she hid her nexus somewhere within Zyainor (also, I'm really happy she gets her own path, I can't wait to subjugate the world with her beauty... and armies... mostly armies, I expect)

Now on to the main piece : the Keep of Fates

I assume the characters in boxes represent the different planned paths for Legacy of Arkain. If so, that makes a lot of them, so I spent way too long squinting at whatever pixels I could find to decipher new paths.
The first one is obvious : the dwarven high-king stands proudly on the left (I don't think his path was announced but I could be wrong)
On the right, Amari is visible right next to a character in green. I think the only hero we know of with that colour is Gorthog so that must be his axe.
Far on the right, there seems to be some pink dreadlord wings, but I'm stumped on who they belong to. The Darkblade and Mindslayer legion are respectively orange and brown. That's not Ebira, she's on the left. Largoth's wings are closer to black than to pink... If anyone has any idea, don't hesitate to speak.
Far on the left, there are also angelic wings, which I assume belong to Valerie, next to Richard. Though I can't quite see if they're in the same box or if they somehow have two different paths.

Those are the only things I could see. Don't hesitate to tell if you think you recognized anything else.

But also, on the mere existence of the keep of Fate :
Is it somehow canon ? Does it exist in the world of Arkain ? Is it the source of Aridon's visions of the future ?
Also, it won't be just a place to choose a path... but then what else will we be able to do ? Will it allow to change some changes, like the maps at the beginning of the second books, for convenience ? Or will there be some paths that can somehow influence others.
Also this locked door at the end of the Hall of Paths intrigues me. When all paths have been chosen, will it open ? What could it reveal ?

Lady meya did became a high ranking member of the nercromancer in zyainor there is a short story where she speak with vail

How many paths do you plan to do? We didn't see all possibilities. I mean, I guess that it will have a path for Salana. or for Brian.

And... How many maps/missions for each path? It will be a very very very campaign.

Rahandir's new model < 3
Several paths are of my interest, but the main ones are:
  • Path of the pure: I need to see the performance of the GG in this savage world.
  • Path of the heroes: Praxeus and his team have so many things on my interest, like Krom and Nysara's fate.
  • Path of the nameless: Veln's past and who exactly he is could change everything.
About the new paths showed:
  • Path of the union: Of course I'll support the Dominion in the war. No matter the foe
  • Path of the truthseeker: I won't support Gran... but he feels pain and sadness for Vanessa's fate. So I'll dig with him the truth if this reveals who kill the archduchess.
  • Path of the beauty: Lady Meya, Kazardius and even one of Larine's daughters together? Of course I need to know what's happening next.
  • Path of the guardian: Rahandir and his followers against his former master. Yes, he'll be a fine watcher.

Ngl, I love all of the new models man. Can't wait to play the paths. Here are the paths I'm definitely interested in.
  • Path of Bloodclaw: For obvious reasons, Zyainor will stand tall and strong, no matter the enemy. I'm genuinely hoping Shar gives us the option to defeat all of them to defend Arkain. Whether is Aridon's madness, Zarin's interference, Tregakh's war, or even Amari's betrayal, I hope that whatever comes Gardon's way, he will prevail. GLORY TO THE CA'LAER! GLORY TO ZYAINOR! GLORY TO THE IRONFIST!
  • Path of the Dragon: Dorten has always struck me as too much of a traditionalist. I don't blame him, but that also meant that he is too weak to proceed with the new age. He is nothing but a relic of the past. I will follow the Grank Duke in completely annihilating Kerrel.
  • Path of Beauty: Something that surprised me here is Velina's appearance. We know that Velina wants to be a Grave Warden for her father. Lady Meya's intentions are still unknown, but i don't think she wants to harm Zyainor, given that her former master wants her dead. Kazardius being there strongly suggests that they will be on Zyainor's side (or maybe just making sure that Aridon doesn't destroy it). Regardless, if they are indeed on Zyainor's side, then I could only hope that they will defeat the enemies from the shadows.
  • Path of the Circle: the gods have no right to interfere in the ambitions and actions of mortals. It will only end in disaster. I will definitely follow Kenos and the Redfist sisters (still sad for Vanessa's death) in their quest to completely destroy them for good (this includes you too, Brian. How dare you kill poor Aveen!).
  • Path of the Guardian: My long cherished wish was answered, the option to defeat and destroy that bastard, Aridon. Shar once said that Rahandir would be Aridon's choice if he were to ever be destroyed. And it looks like that will come in the near future.
  • Path of the Nameless: I've always been curious to who he is, is he Blen, Volarian, perhaps Logan? I don't know, but what I can say for sure is that he is a very interesting character. I want to personally be there for him.
  • Path of the Pure: I still like Zyainor more than the Golden Guard, but if they were to kill Zyaise armies, then I would be 100% against them. But if they were against the others such as the demons or the brainwashed empire, then I would support them.
  • Path of the Flames: I'm not sure of what Fiona's part in the whole story will be, whether its burning Arkain to the ground, or just causing destruction, I wanna see it.

This is incredible, i want to play ALL the paths but there are some that are more interesting:
-Path of the Union. Lets go Amari and the dominion once again. I hoped to see Grofzag next to her, since he lost Vanessa.
-Path of the Dragon. Finally we´ll get to play as Thanok, lets rain fire on the enemies of Zyainor.
-Path of the Circle. This is definitely the one i want to play the most. Since two of redfist daughters are involved and we know for sure that Cora made a mess in the undead ranks.
-Path of Beauty. That combination is... strange. Kazardius next to Meya instead of Thanok or Gardon? He is for sure joining Zyainor since he is free but why with Meya. Also Velina´s the only child of Zyainor that appears here.
That rises the question, where is vail? Where are the other children?
-Path of Bones. Just pure entertaiment while destroying everything on sight.
-Path of the Truthseeker. Our favourite odd alliance, Gorthog and Gran strikes again. Also the new character seems to be a rival of Inara so thats good, i dont like her.
-Path of the Guardian. Perhaps Rahandir can rally the rest of the undead troops + Salana´s forces once she returns to the Elven kingdom? definitely something i want to play.

Lets end there, i dont really care about the Heroes or Gardon, nor about Ebira and the demons, I want to play with other forces. Also where is our lord and saviour capitalist dreadlord?

Perhaps Zairmak joins the path of the circle, just imagine having both Kenos and Zairmak together, that combination would be fire.

The keep of Fates is really cool !

A few paths were surprising to me :
  • The path of the Guardian : I expected it to focus on Harmos rather than Rahandir's group (though I fully expected Rahandir to get his own path). It seems really interesting. Though, Rahandir's idea that there needs to be a guardian that would be less extreme, more passive than Aridon... looks a lot like what Aridon was doing before (especially since he's only surrounded by his servants for now). I would love it if you could get an ending where Rahandir just becomes what Aridon was, with all the flaws, because of how ironic it would be.
  • The path of Beauty : I didn't expect Kazardius to be involved, along with one of Gardon and Larine's daughters. I suppose it makes sense since they both were most likely to infiltrate Zyainor. Though I wonder how much they'll stick together. I doubt Kazardius is under Meya's orders, so I wonder if we can do some choices that would drive them against each other (for example, I'm pretty sure Kazardius won't let Meya seriously undermine Zyainor... but I also doubt Meya fancies being a vassal to a Cal'aer)
  • Path of the Truthseeker : It's quite funny how little the gnolls and friends seem to know compared to other factions, like Amari or the Circle. Still, that new Gnoll character seems really fun. He makes me want to command the gnoll army and conquer the totality of Arkain and rename it to Gnoll Island, while the original Gnoll Island will be called Arkain. (Though, I noticed he's lvl 10 in the Keep. I hope we'll still have the opportunity to play with low level heroes rather than all lvl 10)
  • Path of the Desperate : I genuinely didn't expect a path centered around Dorten and the forces of Kerrel, but that is an excellent surprise. They seem to have interesting characters between the royal family, the nobles and of course the Inquisition. By the way, I might have forgotten pieces of lore, but I don't think the order of air ever appeared in the True Story, appart from basic units (I don't think we ever saw their guardian, or named members of their order) Will they be an important part of Kerrel or have they been supplanted by the inquisition ? (By the way, I hope there will still be a few events involving Rengar and Harmos' order)

Also, a few questions for Shar about how Legacy of Arkain will work :
  • In terms of length, do you plan to have all paths be approximately equal, like the books were, or are there some paths that you plan to last much longer than others ?
  • Also, do you plan the paths to revolve around a "main character" ? For example, in the path of Bloodclaw, will we always follow Gardon and make choices as Gardon ? Or will it be like the first human book for example, where Blen is mostly the main character, but the protagonist may vary, like with Aedale ? Or would it be closer to the first orc or undead books, where we often switch characters and are lead to make choices for any of them ?

Also where is our lord and saviour capitalist dreadlord?
Sitting in a corner, drinking wine of course!

In terms of length, do you plan to have all paths be approximately equal, like the books were, or are there some paths that you plan to last much longer than others ?
For the most part, they will have about the same length each. There are a few that are longer, but not the majority.

Also, do you plan the paths to revolve around a "main character" ? For example, in the path of Bloodclaw, will we always follow Gardon and make choices as Gardon ? Or will it be like the first human book for example, where Blen is mostly the main character, but the protagonist may vary, like with Aedale ? The paths will be more character-focused, as in on the main character or main characters.
Not much switching there.
That being said, there will be choices but the exact extent of those will differ from path to path.
For example:
I do not think this is really a spoiler as it has been adressed on multiple occasions, the Path of
the Nameless has a few points where you can make decisions that affect the name-giving Nameless.
Meanwhile, the Path of the Bloodclaw will not have as many choices but there will be moments with very
significant impact.
And then there is the Path of the Flames. How do I put this...
Some people just want to see the world burn.

Maybe not? She is in the imperial court so when the golden guard is a traitor isn't it possible for the forces there to be purged? In the legacy demo it is clear that the golden guard station in arkain is not the entire forces

Though i will be more than happy if High Lord Inquisitor Renald van Durce somehow getting resurrected to be honest I like his style of solving the problem arrogant? Yes. but no one can question his competence, standard, decisiveness, and how human he is compared to character gardon, who both result oriented and hot heated.

Actually, I consulted the tales of Arkain about the Golden guard and the empire, and I'm not sure if they were actually branded as traitors in the True Story.

In the Second Human Book, the whole traitors thing was a stratagem used by Aridon/Rahandir to turn the Golden guard against the empire and the Dark One (you could only learn that if you chose to have the golden guard beat the Ironfist and the others). I don't think this information was ever given in the True Story, so I'm not sure if it's still true or if it was changed.

Also, in the Tales of Arkain, a general in the imperial expedition to Arkain, decades after the 2nd void war, says that "Our finest soldiers and heroes, the Golden Guard, were butchered while trying to protect our former friends" so it doesn't look like they were branded as traitors in the continent or Rodan.

Of course this could be a retcon, since I'm pretty sure this tale is from way before the True story.
But if it's not, there seems to be two possibilities :
1) the Golden Guard was never branded as traitors by the emperor and the message they received was a trick of the undead or of another group, like in the second human book.
2) The message the golden guard received was indeed from the emperor (aka Trekagh), but it was never made public in the Rodan mainland. This could be to make sure they don't retreat and fight to the end, while being able to use them as martyrs in front of the imperial public.

Either way, if that short story is still canon, then the Golden guard are not officially traitors in the empire and Catherine Van Durce is likely still an influential member of the imperial court. (Which would mean that Marin and the others would have been welcomed as heroes if he didn't take all these precautions with his portal to remain undetected xD).

That's a very weak possibility I think van durce family is a military one so his daughter mostly know how to fight back and even if she didn't van durce won't leave her defenseless because she is his daughter and he cares about his children even if he doesn't show that much, so he must have left some of his best forces with her to make sure she is safe.

And beside that the fact that marin was able to access his resources in his mansion without any problems show's that the empire didn't touch his things even after he declared a traitor and if his stuff wasn't touched or taken by the empire then I don't think that they went after any of the golden guards members in the empire and didn't try to confiscate their things.

I don't think his words have anything to do with the golden guards situation after the second void war, because in the short story if i remember correctly he was describing the second void war and why did the imperial army lost that war so I think he was talking about the golden guards role in the war (or at least what he thinks their role was since I don't think he knew anything about their real goal in the continent), and tbh I think there is a bit of sarcasm in his words .

This is a weak possibility since the golden guards tried to open portals that leads to rodan but the portals were always closed from the other side

I am really curious in the differences with "Path of Bloodclaw" and "Path of Dragon", because the description of Path of Dragon is: "Lead the armies of Ziyanoir against his enemies and inside enemies", and Bloodclaw that for me is he against the entire world, ready for fight in revenge for his son.

Maybe the path of the dragon will start with war with great consequences for Ziyanor that would make the Black Dragon Queen betray once again this kingdom. And the story would be Thanok lead the uprising against the treacherous Queen to become the leader of all Black Dragons.

I don't know what more we could see in Thanok path because i think that war against everyone will be lead by Gardon, maybe except invasion of Kerrel that would be made by Thanok himself!

Or, the paths would be like the Books but each path is a perspective that give us choise to interestly ways like:

All path will have the same event, like maybe Aridon bringing up a large army in X map, and Fiona always attacking Y city. We will see this every time but with another perspective and the gift of choise, maybe we defeating Aridon before he bring his army, or Thanok to destroy certain city? Like "A Fresh Breeze", with Undead, Human, Orc perspectives

For example in Bloodclaw Path maybe we will see the great war that will come upon Ziyanoir and in some moment the "Thanok Path" reaches his climax default event, like attacking and destroying Kerrel and we will make our choises with that

And maybe the opposite? In Dragon Path, the default events of Bloodclaw path beginning and we make the Thanok personal choises?

I am very curious to see this developed in Legacy of Arkain. This truly will be the most ambicious project that Shar Dundred could ever made specially if he expand the

If the sibling is trully Progderas the smoking as it seems to be the case then this implies that the elemental gods are back ,and while this Magderas the frezzer(I didnt know what to name him XD) is already prezent it would seem that a certain orc that is pretty much possesed by the earth god might become an elemental champion similar to fiona, losing his wife might help in losing his mind too.
Also I Wonder will the frezzer ally with the undead ?
And lastly the earth and ice elemental orders were wiped out by the undead, does that mean that they will be reborn as a way to contain these primordial gods or be reborn in their very name. So many questions especially what should we call the freezer :)))

Post scriptum if this is actually a lightining elemental then my bad to me it looked like an ice one but I am not sure

A fanatic, an insect and a dragon walk onto a field in Kerrel...
Well, that makes for an interesting party !

The Dragon is likely our good Thanok, seeking to have some good-mannered debate with the royals about the morality of the murder of the Bloodclaw heir.

The insect is... more unusual. I suppose it likely refers to Aran-tel-kazor or another Nerubian (I always thought it was weird they call themselves the "spider kingdom" in the base game when they have 6 limbs and are clearly inspired by ants with their architectural background). Still, strange for the Ejara Nexus to be in Kerrel. Since they have breeding grounds in southern Salria, I expected them to keep their leaders relatively hidden, especially to remain out of the human struggles.

As for the "fanatic"... I'm not really sure. Could be a zealous member of the golden guard, but that's a long way from their keep, I don't expect them to get involved in Kerrel so soon. Most of the imperial expedition is described as fanatical in the short stories, but I doubt they've already landed. My best bet would be Fiona Van Durce since her goals and movements are erratic enough to justify her being in Kerrel, especially when, if a certain dragon has its say, it will soon go up in flames.
Fiona's presence would make for an interesting dynamic with the elemental lord of air (or lightning ?) that was teased. Are they enemies, allies, rivals ?

By the way, since we have the confirmation Progaderas is not unique, I wonder if these "elemental lords" have a link to the elemental orders in the Kingdoms of arkain. Were the orders created after witnessing these "lords" ?

So we now have a new kind of elemental? Let me guess, are those part of the fallen cryomancers of Toran? or are we facing a totally new enemy?
Also, lovely picture of the Bloodclaw family, but I feel like someone there is not longer with us...

Hi everyone! What is Gardon's natural hair colour? Because Parlea and Velina are blonde (even though Larine has red hair), and Zurae has black hair. The only other clue I have is the fact that some of Gardon's relatives (Valerie and Fiona) are seemingly blonde, but we haven't seen Renald's hair, and young Gardon from Brian's flashback had brown hair. But if Gardon has brown hair and Larine has red hair, how can their daughters have blonde hair?
