Lelyanra, u actualy used a damage detection system on unit's bones right ?
Well, try this one.

Shuriken Fury
The hero throws 8 shurikens around him, the shurikens will travel trough 1500 distance away, if any enemy unit hit by the shuriken, it will deal 200 damage, and dealing a bonus whenever the shuriken hits a part of the enemy's body.
Head : deals 200 bonus damage and stunning the target for 2 seconds.
Body : deals 100 bonus damage and knockback the target for 300 distance.
Legs : deals 50 bonus damage and slowing the target movement speed by 30% for 5 seconds.

Blackhole
The hero summons an uncontrolable blackhole at a target area, the blackhole will wander and absorbs any enemy units who contact with it, the blackhole will be more bigger when it's absorbs a unit(if it's more bigger, then it will absorb more unit), after 10 seconds, the blackhole will explode with the units inside it, dealing 50 x number of absorbed units damage, the units that explode within the blackhole will be stunned for 5 seconds.

Leg Broker
The hero shoots an enchanted arrow to the targeted point, the arrow is only triggered when it's hit enemies leg in it's path, dealing 300 damage and causing a Broken
Leg buff, if the target moves, 30% of distance moved will deals in damage, if the arrow hit other than leg, it only will deal damage.

Assasinating Arrow
The hero shoots an arrow at a target point, Traveling until it's hit a unit or an unpathable terrain and destroys any trees in it's path, if the arrow hit the enemy's back, it will deal 300 + 1x agility of the hero and stun the target for 5 seconds, if the arrow hit the enemy's rear, it will deal 150 + 1x Agility of the hero and stun the target for 2 seconds, if the arrow hit the enemy's front, it will only deal 150 damage.

Water Blasts
The hero blasts water in his position to a targeted point, the water will travel trough 2000 distance away, any enemy units hit by it will be snagged by the water and deal 30 damage per second until the water reached it's maximum distance or until it's reached an unpathable terrain, can only be casted on water.

Overload - Passive
When the Hero's HP becomes lower then 20%, the Hero mana regeneration increases by 200%.

Shadow Arc - Active, target.
Swings at a unit with a massive cleave, dealing 200 damage to the unit and 100 damage to units 300 units behind it. (damage should spread out from behind, in a cone.) Lowers armor by 3 for 10 seconds.

Vine Pull - Active, target unit
Pulls a unit underground, after 1 second, they will surface in-front of the Hero and are stunned for 2 seconds.

Darkness Falls
wherever the hero walks, there will be a blight that last xseconds but if anyone steps on the blight, there is a x% chances to corrupt the units/heroes mind causing him to attack his own teammates the buff last xseconds

another ideal for this XD

Watery Sword
whenever the hero attacks an enemy, there is x% chances to cause water damage (use a projectile like a water attack...) that is able o deal damag between 0-5000(or less if you want to ...)

Inner Struggle
Creates a shadow of a target unit, which deals 100% damage and takes 150% damage. The shadow will attack the target, and the target unit cannot be controlled until the shadow is destroyed. Shadow lasts 15 seconds.
(Shadow is an illusion, but all black)

Intoxicate
The Hero drink to excess, causing him to deal 100% bonus damage, but miss on 30% of attacks. Lasts 20 seconds. When the duration is over, the Hero will become hung over, slowing movement speed by 20% for 10 seconds.

Combustion
Sets a unit on fire. The unit will run around with a bonus 100% movement speed, taking 30 damage per second and dealing 30 damage per second to nearby units. Lasts 10 seconds.

Frantic
Causes attack speed to increases by 2% for each 1% of life missing. But the chance to miss on attack increases by 2% for every 5% of life missing.

Shroud Strike
The Hero begins to fade and becomes invulnerable over 3 seconds. The hero then jumps at the first unit to come within 900 units, dealing 300 damage and moving to the position of the unit. Detects all units in 1200 units while waiting.

finally got another idea....
Drunken Slash
the hero drink to his fill then slash all nearby enemy with poison tip blade the beer adds his strength by x% and both the poison and the increase in strength last x seconds there is also a chance to damage him due to being drunk

Shadow Stab
The hero target a position and then becomes 100% transparent (gradually) as it moves (VERY FAST - 522) to that position. Then he strikes the air with a fearsome blade. If there is a opponent at the target position, it will take imediate damage, 25% slow and 5 dps for 5 seconds. After stabing the air, the hero becomes 100% transparent again (gradually) and goes back to the position he were at the moment the spell was cast (moving backwards).

Essentially, each projectile splits into two slightly weaker projectiles with each hit. 1 becomes two, two becomes four, ect. This happens five times.

Spears front archers behind: orders reinforcements, spears go i a line in front of the hero and archers behind, spearman knockback any unit that comes close, but do ittle damage, archers do high damage but fire in a random position between 200-1000 range in front of them

SCHILLROM: calls nearby spearman to form a schillrom, dealing heavy damage to nearby enemies while near the spearman, though with little movement speed

Flank Them, calls in calvery to charge in to target position from the left, right and center trapping them if used well.

Ultimate: Artillary Fire: sends a runner to call in for artillary, that bombard random positions within a large targeted area, can hurt you and your allies (if you could see them the model would probably be a demolisher or something)

i certainly download the spell if it where stealth or shadowstepp from wow i always wanted to make an rogue hero (BTW is downloading a spell just the same as an model do you have to import it or something srry im new with map editor... :S

nice ideas, but it seems meant to fit more like a "war tactics" map, which is not the case. anyway, keep the quality, change the focus.

thanks :D new hero idea: KANDY MAN

Slippery Skittle Trap: the Kandy Man lays down skiittles in the targetted area causeing ANY unit to trip and fall dealing X damage and stunned for X seconds and losing some movement speed

HOT Fudge FOUNTAIN: places the Kany Mans FUdge maker at target position, heats the fudge up than launches it into the air dealing X damage over time losing attack damage but getting an increase movement speed.

Chocalate Smile: the Kandy man ate chocalate recently, causing his enemies to want chocalate (% chance to) distracte them momentarily.

Sweeping Kandy Cane: The Kandy Man get out his Giant Kandy Cane spinning it faster and faster at target position dealing damage to units trapped inside, stunning them momentariliy and knocking them back

hmm since i got a challenge from herian for spell ideas i might as well post the ideas i had here XD

  • Elemental Atmosphere (AURA)
    all enemy units who is within x meters from the hero might get any of the elemental buffs
    -Earth; affected units are rooted to the ground
    -Fire; affected units will get burn for x amount of damage per second
    -Darkness; affected units will have reduced armor
    -Ice; affected units will be frozen
    -Water; affected units will have x% chances to slip (means to fall and cause x amount of damage to himself/herself)
    (ALL BUFFS WILL LAST X SECONDS)
  • Luck Strike(ACTIVE)
    targeted unit will get hit by the hero dealing 0-5000 amount of damage
  • Power Of The Elements (SELF)
    the hero calls upon the elements to bless him/her increasing all stats by x% and also adds x amount of damage,health and mana
  • Elements,UNITE !! (ACTIVE)
    all units on the map will get a chances to get affected by either of these buffs as well as getting x amount of damage
    -Earth; affected units are rooted to the ground
    -Fire; affected units will get burn for x amount of damage per second

Time Shifter: Mage, DPS hero.

he thought it was accidental, that it fell into his hands, but no the powers of time travel were given...

Second Chance - after 5 seconds goes back to origanal position, however playing with time can have penaltys...*

Time Stop - "stops**" time allowing the Time shifter to deal X blows to target unit. number of times increase with level

Times Blessing - gives a % chance to convert units in target area to your side, due to the time shifter being able to persaude them by going back in time... Chance and AoE increase with level

Ultimate - Wrong Spell gives a % chance when using any of the time shifters spells to turn him into a time dragon for X seconds allowing him to fly, devour and deal some extar damage length and % chance increase with level


*gives a %chance to do something random like moves him a bit ahead of his position, or gets him stuck in time pausing him for X seconds
**just looks like he teles aroung the target X amount of times

Another...

Manic Charge
the hero who was drove wild by the horrors of the battlefield charge towards the enemy there is a chances to get damage by x amount if the hero misses his target(s) also if the enemy he charge got hit, the will get stun for x seconds

Weather Witch SUPPORT MAGE
Thunderstorm
-the hero wets all the enemy before summoning thunder to strike x% chances to cause stun, stun last x seconds
Earthquake
-the hero moves the plates on the map causing worldwide(or mapwide:eekani:) earthquake which cause all units to move slower due to the dizzy effects of the earthquake
Hurricane
-the hero summons a hurricane which will throw units high up into the air and when they land they will get damage by x amount
weather finale
-the hero cast all the spells Thunderstorm,Earthquake and Hurricane all at once dealing load of damage to those who oppose him

in my map you can have any amount of skills. If you can or not use them depends on what kind of weapon you are using. (i'll make a "hotskill" system that allows you to cast spells even when you can't see them in your unit tab)
